My mom showed me this song when I was 16 , I’m crying now at 26 because she was so right. On October 5th 2020 my life changed forever as I held her hand while she took her last breathe . She was so right I miss everything , I wish I could’ve slowed down and enjoyed my life with her more . My heart is forever broken
There is nothing that will heal that wound I despise when people say time heals all wounds. It just gets easier to smile instead of cry when you think about them. But I am 44 the person I was the closest to my grandma passed when I was 15. Every year I still go have a drink with her on her birthday. I used to smoke a cigarette for her too but I quit a few years ago which I know she'd be happy about. But I always make sure to grab one from a friend who still does and leave it there for her.
@Trace Adkins Sexycowboy 🎵 honestly I couldn't tell ya I didn't start even listening to country music until I was 18 or 19 .... Besides Dolly and Waylan , Willie , Conway , Tanya which my grandma liked so around 1996 or 97
I'm NOT reading yall comments cuz I'm 62 with a 17 year old, I DO NOT want to cry, don't want her to leave, cuz we fish together all the time, that's what we do in South Louisiana
Still one of the most beautiful songs ever written. The human experience is such a fickle thing, time slips through our fingers like water in an ever flowing river - enjoy every moment.
I didn't realize how precious time was till my pawpaw passed away when I was 21 then just before mother's day in 2019 I lost my momma not even a year after my grandfather and I will tell you what now I miss morning coffee with my pawpaw evening calls with my momma I put my and her past behind us and tried to enjoy the time we had after pawpaw passed but she was a trucker and died in a accident because of another trucker coming into her lane hitting her head on I tell you it was the biggest gut punch I had in my life cause I felt that she was tooken away before my aunt and sister knocked on my bedroom door to tell me she was gone
So incredibly ironic, your name, that is... it's my baby's name although he always hates when I call him that since he just graduated himself... he's my youngest & all of my children, the 3 of them, will always be my babies, no matter how old they are. I do miss when I was in high school, when I was a young mother, & wished I could grow up fast, which I did! Now, I'm staring at my 60's, wondering where the time went! Take it as slow as you possibly can, Justin. I know what I'm talking about.
I can tell you from experience the older you get the faster time goes by. It seems like yesterday I was 17 graduation night and now I am 70 and facing another graduation.
hey the years do pass by fast, iam 32 and i never graduated but i gotta say the last 16 years are a blur, and you know what , its been fun!!!! cant wait till i turn 40!!!
I saw him in concert, my friend and I went to the bar during a break. We ordered 2 beers, then, from behind me i heard, I've got these. I turned around and it was Trace! He's very tall, lol. I'm 5'10 and I had to look up. He's a great guy!
Im a teenager and im so glad that i listened to this song because now im going to spend more time with my family because I dont know how long im going to have them in my life.
Good for you! Enjoy every single day with your family! No matter how bad you may think of some day are, remember that your family are always there for you! Enjoy your life with the ones you love! 💖
LOL! I still remember back in 2017 people telling me I was lucky to purchase good seats to a Garth Brooks concert, and followed it up with how I was lucky I had a 15 year old who was thrilled to go with his parents to a Garth Brooks concert.
I wish everyone could hear this song. I’m 62 years old with a 40 year old daughter with two incredible grandkids. I’m a full grown man and this song will make me cry. Looking back over the years to all the people I’ve known and loved. This song contains such a lesson. You truly are gonna miss this when it’s gone. I wish I could go back in time to hug everyone of the people that I called friends. Some are gone now, most I’ll likely never see again and damn that makes me sad. Live every moment that you can. Don’t be afraid to tell people how you feel about them. If you love them, tell them. Time is a gift. Use it wisely
Brother we’ll see our loved ones again. But doesn’t mean we can’t try to teach the younger generation. I work fast food in the morning. I tell them Enjoy your youth. Enjoy LIFE before everything changes.
This song came out when I was in high school. I wasn’t one of those teens who consistently said “I can’t wait to grow up,” but my mom would still sing the chorus to me at random times, especially my senior year. To this day, I can’t make it through this song without crying. And I mean, full on crying.
Hello 👋 … Can I consider you for a reading love ?🔮💫✨I read your name 🔮and felt a Strong energy🧿 and connection 🧬 and thought you wanted a reading 💐🧿🧘♀️
anyone listening in 2020? my family and I were just talking about how fast the years fly! how is it 2020 already? wow! seizing every moment with our loved ones is key❤
This song will never not knock the air out of me. When I was in middle school, I heard it, in high school I was like this is a great song, but now as an adult, it’s heartbreaking because of how true it is. Time goes by so fast 🥺
When I graduated highschool 5 years ago, I was thanking God that it was finally over. To this day, I still have dreams at night where I'm back in school, with all of my old friends, no "real" responsibilities... and then I wake up, and I remember that it's all gone. I know high school may seem hard right now, maybe annoying, maybe stressful. But the good moments that you're having there are the ones that you will remember for the rest of your life. And, eventually, you'll wish that you could go back to those days, because those happy times will never come back, no matter how hard you try to recreate them.
It’s been 12 years for me, and I still would give everything I have for just one day to be in high school again. I’m 30 and a half now. The good thing is....I heard this song when I was very young, probably 17, and I realized I had to enjoy the times while I was still young, but it still went by very fast.
He’s talking about the plumber not himself. I originally thought that too. He is quoting the plumber it’s a response the plumber made to the younger mom at her house. At the time of the video being made in 2007. Trace had 5-6 children. One was 6, the others were 3 and 9 from the second marriage and 24 and 22 from the first. Non even match the age of 36 or 23.
Should speak to the Child as well, because these are the best days of your life, until you get out on your own and start facing your own responsibilities. That's what it's talking about.
Way to fast😪😪😪 my baby will be 3 in april I had my second what feel like last month he just turned 5 months sitting up trying to crawl and talk I'm sad 😭😭
This song brings up the memories of ALL the people in my life who tried to tell me this exact thing when I was young enough to "know better".... it makes my eyes water cause now @ 41 I realize it was true.... now, they're gone and Its too late to tell them they were right, and I'm left missing "this". To you young bucks..... take advantage of EVERY day God gives you!
I do miss "this". My mom was embarrassing when I was a kid. And she was just trying to be funny. As I grew older we got closer. I lost her when I was 22. And I feel like I threw those years away. I would give anything to see her again. I do wish it hadn't gone by so fast.
I just came from Eric Stonestreet’s Instagram post because I had forgotten about this song and I instantly got chills and started tearing up. This song reminds me of sitting on my old best friend’s couch. She was so good to me. We were young and didn’t have jobs yet and just hung out all day and night and gabbed for hours and bonded. Fast forward about 7 years, We no longer speak. And I def do “miss this”. I miss her. I remember her singing it to me and telling me this song will always remind her of me. Now I’m just crying on the train home from work... 💔
You will never know how poignant the words to this song truly are . When I heard this song I thought about every single time I said: "when am I gonna be old enough" We tend to think life as a child is filled with "when I get older". Well fast forward to being a mother to an 18 old daughter who repeated the very words I did. We listened to this song a thousand times together, and on what would turn out to be our last Trip together before she passed away at the age 26, on October 29 2014, at her going home service it was me saying "I wish it all hadn't gone so fast". Mr Trace Adkins, this song was meant just for me.
So very sorry 😭 may comfort come by knowing that you will see her again and that time it will last forever, that time it will not go fast. Praying for you 🙏🏿
The older you get, the more you appreciate this message. Edit: Wow. Thanks for all the likes and replies. My second son just graduated high school this year. I posted this well before the Pandemic set in.
Justin Jessup Ik how u feel man I had to go to a different high school than all my friends from middle school and it’s tough at first but just be yourself and you’ll meet some good people
I had a son in 92, lost him in 04. got to say I miss raising my son he would be 27 now, listening to this song bring back memories of everything, from diapers threw him in school... :-(
I talked to my client's daughter yesterday and she is full of life. She asked about me and we were just in tears. I felt my 10-ten year old self was speaking to her and she was very supportive. Emotionally mature. I am proud of her and her parents. 😊 This is so timely. Thank you for this wonderful music. 😊
Already at 0:19 I wish I could go back and show myself how great I had it and how much of a struggle life can be as an adult. Kids think once they're 18, they're on top of the world but they (including myself) unknowingly take it all for granted. My advice as a 25 year old now, show your parents the respect they deserve and give thanks to the life they provided you. As Trace said, YOU'RE GONNA MISS THIS.
Such A Beautiful Song That's So True About Special Moments In Your Life Or Special People You've Loved & Lost One Thing Is For Sure Those Special Moments You Will Never Forget Be It A Broken 💔 Or TrueLove ❤️ You've Found It Will Always Live In Your Mind Life Is A Roller Coaster Many Ups & Downs Every Day We Learn A New Lesson And Whether It Broke Your 💔 Or It Be The First Time You Experienced Love ❤️ A Part Of You Will Always Remember & In One Way Or The Other Whether It's The Other Person Or You This Song Is Saying What Is Oh SoTrue
my dad always told me growing up that this was his song to me, now pregnant with my 2nd child & struggling to pay bills & my dads still my best friend, listening to this again & bawling 😭
This song is so true I'm 17 and filling out collage applications and I can tell my mom and dad want it to slow down to. I know I do my dad is reaching 50 and I want time to slow down. I'm not ready to be an adult yet and it's right there around the corner....
i graduated from high school this past spring and i miss it so much! I was in the band and ffa and man i wish i could go back. i'm in a college band tho it feels different since its people idk.
just thank God for the time that you have left. there was someone that didn't make it to where you are. You have so much to be thankful for. I'm proud of you.
Singing songs to my 5 week old daughter. This song brought me to tears. It came out when I was a senior in high school and now I'm married with a baby. Time goes by too fast.
Don't rush life, one day you'll look back and definitely miss something so much because it's gone. Just lost my mom and this song hits a lot differently than when it first came out. Cherish those you have when you have them. Miss you mom I'd do anything to still have you here
one thing you should think of when listening to this song is the past. I think of all the great times I've had with my grandparents, and they're 70 and 73 but when you think about it they're not to long before they go into the great place in the sky. So all I say is make sure you spend the most time you can with the one's you love.
Enjoy your grand parents while u can, I tell all the young kids and even older people to enjoy the time u can with them, I lost all my grand parents in my early teens, the one thing I miss is spending time with them and listening to there story's about when they where younger, enjoy them man, I miss my grandparents everyday
Ronald Martin Thank you Sir! Trust me we grow up and go our separate ways for a reason. Thanks for serving most of us are ungrateful but there's some who still respect it.
Hey man thank u for your service me and u are same age I wanna join the military but I can't because I have a disability but I started volunteering and serving the veterans again I did it for 3 years I enjoyed it but anyway man stay safe out there bro :)
Just turned 30 my momma used to sing this to me but she changed the lyrics to he and now she’s been gone 4 years and I rock my 10 month old son to sleep this hits on a different level
We sang this as our 5th grade graduation, and now, I listen to it again in 10th grade (Still knowing every word XD) and think about how true it really is.
This song makes me ugly cry with snot and everything every time I hear it! I'm almost 43 yrs old and all of our kids are grown and moved out years ago and I can't tell you how much I do miss it! I miss my kids being little! No more trick or treating, no more exciting Christmas mornings where they wake you up eager to open presents, no more easter egg hunts etc etc. I wonder if this is how my parents felt when I left home? I didn't think I could miss something so much but I do! I miss my kids being little so bad it hurts! I cant stress this enough, ALL of you that have littles, PLEASE do all you can with them and for them because they WON'T be little forever and you WILL miss it once they get older, move out and become adults. Those messes can be cleaned up so let them make messes. Laugh as much as possible, hug a little longer, let them be loud run around and be silly, let them be little. (Inserts song by Trace Adkins) You're gonna miss this, you're gonna want this back, you're gonna wish these days, hadn't gone by so fast, these are some good times so take a good look around, you may not know this now... you're gonna miss this. I do, I miss it!😢
i’m 18, about to graduate and i’m always saying i’m already to graduate and my mom is like your gonna miss it ; and this song pops up in my head every time. ❤️
true yur going to miss it here i am in the future world is cruel but it deserve the ride wish ya luck the wone word that i can tell you is jump up try what you want speak yur mind do what you love or you will regret it forever
I play this every morning.... to remind myself to love everything i have in front of me. I remember those simple days I'm only 22 I'm now in the oil field pushing 80 hours a week. but soon ill look back and miss this as well. just live in the moment live day by day !
This is what I call my Daughter's song, (she knows it). It reminds me of her growing up, she's 27 now, but the last verse rocks me. I'm a tradesman myself (Electrician) with "Two babies of my own, one's 36, one's 23". When one is 36, the other will be 23. 13 years apart, the exact same day, two different mothers.
When I was younger, I thought these were cool songs. Years later I'm listening to these now, and it holds so much more meaning, especially with my graduation coming up soon. I'm actually thinking about the lyrics
I know how it feels, all these years I've been wishing school was over. I'm in 8th grade now, i have been with the same boy for 4 years. In 9th grade were going to different schools. I regret wishing it away. It's gone by to fast. 😥
My Dad passed away 6 years and my Mom passed away almost 11 years ago. Cherish your Parents and your Memories alive when they are not here. Love this song and lyrics very relatable. Thanks again Trace for sharing your gift with your Fans. Timeless songs
I want to say a big thank you for your love❤️❤️ and support for me and my career🎼🎸, I hope that you will not stop supporting me😊💕💕 I am really very pleased that all of you have been around all these years of my career. I appreciate your support and warm comments🎲🎲 I want you to to say thank you very much 🙏 🙏 😊 I appreciate you all✌️ God blessed you✌️✌️🎼🪕🎸🎸
@@Martha-zo3kg 👋 i hope you're safe over there? I hope this year brings happiness prosperity love and peace 💞❤️🕊️🕊️ all over the world 🙏🌍 I'm originally from Denmark currently living in Key West Florida and you where are you from if i may ask
I lost my mom this morning!! This pain is unreal. She loved your 🎵🎵🎵🎵 music. That you for the times I was able to have God thank you for the days I did have!!!! Thank you so much!!!
Yes ..his words are right ..we will go to the moon a million times.. But this child only once ...once..that gift from God... Love hope respect .. Thank friends
Never has the words of a song ever struck my heart and soul so very true... I'm a grandparent now, and I often find myself thinking to myself, "what happened? When did they grow up and I grow old? Seems like just a few months ago mine were young, and now they have young of their own...."
I turned 16 a few days ago and i'm just thinking about how when i was 10 this all seemed so far away, high school seemed like it was millions of years away from me but now its my 3rd year of high school and its flying by. I don't want to grow up.
+tomlinzombie Let me just leave this here "You're gonna miss this You're gonna want this back You're gonna wish these days hadn't gone by so fast These Are Some Good Times So take a good look around You may not know it now But you're gonna miss this"
I miss those old days. I'm 36 now and I'm so thankful to have both of my parents still here with me, and everyday I still thank God for 2 wonderful people who love me unconditionally everyday and night
This song never gets old. I'm 52 now and I can't believe how fast time goes. Cherish it. Especially you 20 and 30 somethings out there. Trust me on this. ❤
Truer words were never spoken. God... I remember my LAST day of high school... I was leaving. Got into my car and the SECOND that I turned on my engine this song started playing. Absolutely perfect for the moment I was experiencing. At that moment I denied this song, but now, looking back, I realize how true this song actually is.
This song is so powerful, I remember hearing ol timers talking about how time flies the older you get. Man were they ever right, take nothing for granted and never be ashamed to tell your people that you love them.
wow, such a throwback, made me tear up, I'm 18 and gonna be a senior next year, it's amazing how fast time just flies by. I honestly don't want to be in the adult life, I want to be a kid again, not having to worry about a thing, and not having to worry bout joining the military to help with college.
Good luck with life, young man. Don't kill anyone you don't have to and try to have a garden/farm put together before you are too old to keep it worked and you'll do fine. Also, I think it's because we as a species used to spend huge amounts of time not thinking about the time. Now with the persistent entertainment addiction, everything including our 'relax time' is broken up into tiny segments of time that we can notice. Heck, this song was almost four minutes. I notice that because I had to look. If all I cared about was the autumns harvest and making sure I had enough apple brandy distilled to last the winter, my time would seem to last forever. I dunno where I am going with this. I hate city life blah blah blah misanthrope 4 lyfe etc. :]
Every time I watch this video, I'm not going to lie at the age of twenty eight I shed a tear thinking of my youth, my friends, my family and those wonderful memories I wouldn't change for the world.
pdsmith11803 Damnit I love it when people can come together and relate like this, youtube is such a dumpster these days it's so nice to see this. I'm only 16 now and this song reminds me to make sure I cherish every second of my youth.
I tell my grandson all the time don’t rush life because you’re gonna miss being a child so don’t try to be an adult before your time for life is too short embrace what you have now and be the man that you will become when it’s your time! so live life to the fullest as a child.. as you’re becoming a young gentleman
One of my Favorite Trace Adkins songs. Masterpiece. I've been his Fan since the 90s and I Love his Music. He's the Country Masterpiece of Country Music ❤❤
been in the Marine Corps for a year in March. It had been 8 months since I saw my family. I was blessed to spend Christmas with my family and the only thing I could think of was how much I missed this.
I want to say a big thank you for your love❤️❤️ and support for me and my career🎼🎸, I hope that you will not stop supporting me😊💕💕 I am really very pleased that all of you have been around all these years of my career. I appreciate your support and warm comments🎲🎲 I want you to to say thank you very much 🙏 🙏 😊 I appreciate you all✌️ God blessed you✌️✌️🎼🪕🎸🎸
I'll be a senior this August and I have just realized how fast everything goes by. This time next year I'll have to be an adult. Not ready for that yet 😂
you're only as much of an adult as you believe you are. legally yes. but truly its mentally how much you consider yourself to be an adult. i can personally say im 20 but i still feel 16 or 17 inside and i love it every single day. also too enjoy senior year. i had the best times of my life in senior year. trust me college aint what its cracked up to be. lol youll find yourself back at this video remembering high school
My sister got married when I was 8yr old. We're originally from MD and she moved with her husband down to Georgia and ended up having 3 kids. I'm 20 now and miss her more than anything. It's been tough because I've had to grow up without her ever since. Everytime I hear this song it makes me cry because I look back on every memory we made as kids and it's a shame because we could've made a whole lot more memories as we got older. The message I want to convey is that you need to appreciate every little thing that is in your life right now at this very moment, because one day you'll look back and really miss it and always wonder what could've been...
This song always leaves me with this strange feeling between happiness and sadness. It's impossible to describe but it makes me love life more, and reminisce on the past. It makes me think of what life once was and how I miss it, every word to this song is true.
Boy oh boy.. when I was 9-10 I thought I had the world of stress on my back, now I'm 18, only if I had known then what I know now. I would have actually enjoyed my young life! Remember one thing people, no matter how hard something may seem, it's only an obstacle that you have to hurdle over, and trust me, they're always hurdable. Just enjoy life :)
You're still young. I thought I had stress when I was 18. Wait until you come home from work, have to start dinner, clean the house, have dinner on the table before spouse gets home because you have to leave for an activity that evening, and the dog grabs dinner before you throw it in the oven. The kids start screaming and spouse calls to say he'll be late.
For my trucker husband, Tim, and our trucker kitty, Timber, our years together on the road were the sweetest days of my life. Take good care of Daddy until I get to heaven too, Timber. Miss you every minute. RIP ❤❤
I wish this song didn't hit so hard that it hurts.
Reach out to Jesus He will be your all in all@

Very good comment: I often think back to my old school days. And think of my mom, whom I thought would be around forever. This song takes me back.
Congratulations
Brother we’ll see our loved ones again. But doesn’t mean we can’t try to teach the younger generation. I work fast food in the morning. I tell them Enjoy your youth. Enjoy LIFE before everything changes.
That's because you're a real man
@@mikemasiello5965😊
Absolutely
This song came out when I was in high school. I wasn’t one of those teens who consistently said “I can’t wait to grow up,” but my mom would still sing the chorus to me at random times, especially my senior year. To this day, I can’t make it through this song without crying. And I mean, full on crying.
It might surprise you to know Courtney how many of us understand. We really do! ❤
Same!!! Full on cried today listening
Thanks to have followed my channel

@Deborah I'm honored to have the kind of support that you show me. How are you doing today? It’s nice to meet you on here.
anyone listening in 2020? my family and I were just talking about how fast the years fly! how is it 2020 already? wow! seizing every moment with our loved ones is key❤

Yep!!!!
JasFamilyAndAll right here! I agree.
Me love this 😍
Yup
I am 76 yrs old, and I can definitely vouch for the message of this song.
Bottom line common sense if your parents raise you right you not going to do all this foolishness listen to your dam parents ok
This song will never not knock the air out of me. When I was in middle school, I heard it, in high school I was like this is a great song, but now as an adult, it’s heartbreaking because of how true it is. Time goes by so fast 🥺
Thank you all for your warm wishes, love and support. I love you all😊❤️
Hello

“I’ve got two babies of my own. One’s 36, one’s 23.”
I’m not even a parent and that line hit me like a ton of bricks. What a superbly written song.
Amen. It's message is spot on, too.

Me!
Yep cuz I am so homesick for Springhill, LA. One town over from Trace's.
I felt that man, being in the military and being an adult makes me miss it all, I want to go back to my first 18 years
Thank you, i really need that dude!
I agree I graduated 11 years ago time flies way to fast if I could go back I would
Thanks, I needed that❤️
It’s been 12 years for me, and I still would give everything I have for just one day to be in high school again. I’m 30 and a half now. The good thing is....I heard this song when I was very young, probably 17, and I realized I had to enjoy the times while I was still young, but it still went by very fast.
“He says they don’t bother me. I’ve got two babies of my own. Ones 36. Ones 23” SWEETEST WORDS ❤️❤️❤️❤️
My favorite lines in this entire song!
Jeanette Wilson 💟
I’ve got 5 ranging from 26 to 1 and they are all my babies till the day I leave this world.

This song speaks to every parent, don’t take it for granted, it goes fast.
Should speak to the Child as well, because these are the best days of your life, until you get out on your own and start facing your own responsibilities. That's what it's talking about.
It right.my oldest is 19 this year.she one of 14 children.my youngest are 7 wks old twins.
Yes it does
Way to fast😪😪😪 my baby will be 3 in april I had my second what feel like last month he just turned 5 months sitting up trying to crawl and talk I'm sad 😭😭
@@kristashelby4260 I have told my children these same things. Their just like we were, in a big hurry to grow up.
Yes!!! This, my friend. So true.
Thanks bro, appreciate ur words. may God made u feel comfort

I do miss "this". My mom was embarrassing when I was a kid. And she was just trying to be funny. As I grew older we got closer. I lost her when I was 22. And I feel like I threw those years away. I would give anything to see her again.
I do wish it hadn't gone by so fast.
I lost my mom at 24, I never felt a comment so deeply.
@@riagotit2009 I'm sorry to hear of your mother's passing. And thank you for your kind reply. Big hugs ❤️
Hello
Maria D. Life at Random hello
I lost my wife last july 22 been lost everyday this song hits home
I just came from Eric Stonestreet’s Instagram post because I had forgotten about this song and I instantly got chills and started tearing up. This song reminds me of sitting on my old best friend’s couch. She was so good to me. We were young and didn’t have jobs yet and just hung out all day and night and gabbed for hours and bonded. Fast forward about 7 years, We no longer speak. And I def do “miss this”. I miss her. I remember her singing it to me and telling me this song will always remind her of me. Now I’m just crying on the train home from work... 💔
Same pinch
Same here. Many miles aways from europe ❤
same, im crying
That's exactly how I found this song and I also have to cry every time I listen to it
This is so true.
I remember this song when I was in high school. And it's 2024 now? Wow how time flies! Great song!
You will never know how poignant the words to this song truly are . When I heard this song I thought about every single time I said: "when am I gonna be old enough"
We tend to think life as a child is filled with "when I get older". Well fast forward to being a mother to an 18 old daughter who repeated the very words I did. We listened to this song a thousand times together, and on what would turn out to be our last Trip together before she passed away at the age 26, on October 29 2014, at her going home service it was me saying
"I wish it all hadn't gone so fast".
Mr Trace Adkins, this song was meant just for me.
kimlovesjesus23 Hello Kim .
you are in my prayers🙏
I am so sorry for your loss . :(
So sorry for your loss. Thinking about you and praying for you today

Oh brother, I'm so sorry.

For this generation when their gone its the little things that matter most
Incredible song. Country at its best. Such a gut punch. You seriously don't have a soul if this doesn't hit you square in the chest.
Amazing.
just graduated high school this past year and now I'm a freshman in college. I really wish life wouldn't go by this fast 😢

@Rebecca I'm honored to have the kind of support you show me. How are you doing today?
my dad always told me growing up that this was his song to me, now pregnant with my 2nd child & struggling to pay bills & my dads still my best friend, listening to this again & bawling 😭
Let’s hope it gets better!
He's right, it never gets better, then when you are struggling from pay check to pay check! I'd do it all over again, in heart beat 💓
Hello

How are u over there ?
This song is so true I'm 17 and filling out collage applications and I can tell my mom and dad want it to slow down to. I know I do my dad is reaching 50 and I want time to slow down. I'm not ready to be an adult yet and it's right there around the corner....
i graduated from high school this past spring and i miss it so much! I was in the band and ffa and man i wish i could go back. i'm in a college band tho it feels different since its people idk.
If you're applying for college you might want to know how to spell it right first
just thank God for the time that you have left. there was someone that didn't make it to where you are. You have so much to be thankful for. I'm proud of you.
Im 17 too and im afraid the future..

Hi! How are you... I hope you’re having a great day today?
Don't rush life, one day you'll look back and definitely miss something so much because it's gone. Just lost my mom and this song hits a lot differently than when it first came out. Cherish those you have when you have them. Miss you mom I'd do anything to still have you here

Thanks for loving my music inspiration. Where’re you commenting from ?
I used to rush when I was 18 .. now I’m 35 and wish I was 18 again
How are you doing, Are you one of my special true music fan?
one thing you should think of when listening to this song is the past.
Ikr, I'm 15 and alredy understanding this song. My grandparent's are still alive and I enjoy what I have with them and it kills me if I see them hurt.
Traces dad is actually in this video you are experiencing the true meaning of the song
I'm 20 and active duty army. I miss being younger and being able to hang out with friends and family whenever I want.

oh yeah, that one, too
We sang this as our 5th grade graduation, and now, I listen to it again in 10th grade (Still knowing every word XD) and think about how true it really is.
lucky I love this song
Wheeew the memories of hearing my dad singing this 😭 he was so right. I miss my daddy so much. RIP 9/06/21
❤
(Inserts song by Trace Adkins)
You're gonna miss this, you're gonna want this back, you're gonna wish these days, hadn't gone by so fast, these are some good times so take a good look around, you may not know this now... you're gonna miss this.
I do, I miss it!😢

Im 19. Graduated last year and tbh i already really do miss it.
Just turned 20 and i feel really really old! No teenager anymore... Time flies
I play this every morning.... to remind myself to love everything i have in front of me. I remember those simple days I'm only 22 I'm now in the oil field pushing 80 hours a week. but soon ill look back and miss this as well. just live in the moment live day by day !
On the other side of this; when you're totally grown and your own parents aren't here anymore, you're missing so much of everything.

I know I’m fixin to be a junior and high schools gone by so fast
my graduation is soon!
Wait until you have a kid start growing up in front of you.

Truer words were never spoken. God... I remember my LAST day of high school... I was leaving. Got into my car and the SECOND that I turned on my engine this song started playing. Absolutely perfect for the moment I was experiencing. At that moment I denied this song, but now, looking back, I realize how true this song actually is.
it is actually always true...so enjoy every moment of our lives

@Melissa I'm honored to have the kind of support you show me. How are you doing today?
What a beautiful message. We all need to stop and slow down and enjoy the life that God gave us.
wow, such a throwback, made me tear up, I'm 18 and gonna be a senior next year, it's amazing how fast time just flies by. I honestly don't want to be in the adult life, I want to be a kid again, not having to worry about a thing, and not having to worry bout joining the military to help with college.
Enjoy it man it goes by fast and thanks for your cuter service
I am 46 and do the same exact thing!!
Wait until your kids are 28, then you will really feel it.
Jaimee Pecaut-Cleghorn I'm now 35 and my kids are 10 and 11 and both have lost their kiddie teeth...lord man, in five years I'm going to need Prozac!
pdsmith11803 Damnit I love it when people can come together and relate like this, youtube is such a dumpster these days it's so nice to see this.
@Dianna Thank you for the cheers and Incredible love. How are you today?
One of my Favorite Trace Adkins songs. Masterpiece. I've been his Fan since the 90s and I Love his Music. He's the Country Masterpiece of Country Music ❤❤
been in the Marine Corps for a year in March. It had been 8 months since I saw my family. I was blessed to spend Christmas with my family and the only thing I could think of was how much I missed this.

This song makes me cry every time it is kinda sad but love the song reminds me of me when I was little
@Jessica Thank you for the cheers and Incredible love. How are you today?
This song always leaves me with this strange feeling between happiness and sadness. It's impossible to describe but it makes me love life more, and reminisce on the past. It makes me think of what life once was and how I miss it, every word to this song is true.
Boy oh boy.. when I was 9-10 I thought I had the world of stress on my back, now I'm 18, only if I had known then what I know now. I would have actually enjoyed my young life!
Remember one thing people, no matter how hard something may seem, it's only an obstacle that you have to hurdle over, and trust me, they're always hurdable. Just enjoy life :)
Faxx bro this shit slaps in the whip🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Welcome to adulthood guys, wait until you guys have kids then it really gets hard
I already miss it and it's not even gone yet
same my Best friend like sister is going away next year
Hello
For my trucker husband, Tim, and our trucker kitty, Timber, our years together on the road were the sweetest days of my life. Take good care of Daddy until I get to heaven too, Timber. Miss you every minute. RIP ❤❤
