I would allow the wet fuel to evaporate before I started making sparks and I always have a fire extinguisher close by.

I just changed my fuel pump on my 2011expedition EL. It’s replaced but now it doesn’t start. Can it possibly be the sensor?
There’s a relay, a fuse, and a reset switch. I would check all that and the filter.
I have a 2011 ford expedition limited. Is my fuel filter not in the gas tank on the pump? I keep seeing videos saying 2011 and that they already checked the fuel filter so now the pump. Is 2010 not the last year it was on the line ?
You are correct 2010 was the last year model for the fuel filter on the frame rail outside the fuel tank.

I just cut a hole in the floorboard to change my pump…

Only thing I mighta done different would be throwing some paint on those gas tank straps. Once they rust away the tank falls down. I had it happen on a E-150 and an F-150. But then, I live at the rust capitol of the world.
Yea I agree, this expedition came from up north, that’s why there’s so much bad rust on it. I just bought another expedition with zero rust to replace this one. Keep your stuff clean and protected and it will last a long time!
Good afternoon , where is the fuel filter I can't seem to find it.
It’s on the front side of the gas tank attached to the tank.
My dad's 07 Navigator, just stopped on us the other day. It stopped in the middle of the road, and wouldn't run anymore. It would crank, but it wouldn't start. Would it be the fuel pump?
That is a possibility, it would be one of the first things I would look in to.

I’ve heard it’s in the fuel tank, apart of the pump mechanism.
Would it be the fuel pump if ur starts up but will cut off
It could possibly be that or the filter, or a list of other things.
