Installing a Power Flex Gearbox Mount On My Ep82 Toyota Starlet GT Turbo

- Hello fellow Toyota enthusiasts! Here I go again with my 1995 Toyota Starlet GT Turbo, this time I'm finally replacing the busted rear gearbox mount. I saved this one for last because I wanted some help but it turned out to be fairly simple as I enlisted the help of my big brother to show everyone how it's done. The Power Flex bushing was purchased as an upgrade to get some more responsiveness which I had already obtained with the other two mounts, but I also started to get some unwanted noise and vibration. Will this new mount help remove that bad NVH or will it make it worse? You'll have to watch until the end to find out!

I have done all my mounts in power flex bushings and they were the best thing I did. Vibrates of course but hey, when you’re modifying these cars, don’t look for comfort 😂.
The vibration is part of the experience haha. Since my old mounts were so worn the vibration was significantly worse but now I just have a little bit of rattling on the dash which is acceptable for a 1900lb car.
Nice work bro. I’ve got all 3 engine bushings swapped for power flex ones. The dash vibrates like a dill doh 😂😂

🤣🤣🤣 my dash does have some vibration but it was a lot worse with my old shot inserts. I'm definitely going to be putting out more videos as time permits, I'm trying to be more consistent but I do have some upgrades I'm putting together like a FMIC for this baby so that will be the next vid for this particular car. I appreciate your support!
