The only people upset about this is members of the rainbow community. He changed his mind. Maybe he though about how every actor that plays gay, get accused of actually being gay and he didn't want to have to constantly explain he's not gay. Money was lost money is always lost when making a movie. Sh** happens.
Problem is that Joaquin Phoenix was the one to push for the script and then ditched...
@@twentyfivemelody Why is that a problem? It doesn't matter that he pushed for it, he changed his mind. Maybe he thought about his son, and didn't want his son to see that one day.

@@Maria-sg4zybecause now a lot of crew members are out of a job which they had secured for the next two months. Not showing up to work last minute is inexcusable when that’s your reason..no matter who you are
