I literally just wrote a comment about how I feel like they're getting super repetitive, and I wish they'd mix it up a bit lol. Total opposite ends of the spectrum 😂
I just miss when they had an assortment of different things every week. Now it's just egg laying / hatching with the very occasional break for an expo / the annual competition, it seems like.
They need to pull in more help on videos- like have some employees do egg and baby videos (maybe just the “boring” ones), or someone else does the recording, maybe have separate videos for the “special” clutches, but a compilation of all the others. There are definitely people on both sides of the spectrum, so finding ways to incorporate additional help (maybe someone in charge of planning special new types of videos, planning collabs with other channels, etc.) will reduce the stress on Emily and Ed. Overall, I think we all want more Snake Discovery videos, even if we sometimes disagree on the subject matter.
Emily and Ed, I know you won't see this, but I just needed to say that you guys have helped me through so much over the last 4 years. I have been in and out of hospitals due to depression and your videos always bring me so much joy! Thank you both so much for everything you do! Edit: Thank you everyone for your support!!
I'm 99.9% sure Ms Resting Snake Face (now named Princess) is part of my family now. I must say she's an absolute sweetheart now, but she still does stare daggers at everything.

I think I speak for everyone when I say that we'd totally enjoy videos from the employees when you guys are away at a show, if some of the babies start pipping. I'd love to see more of the behind the scenes of the shop and zoo! Maybe a fun "Day in the Life of a Snake Discovery Employee" kinda thing, if any of the employees would be willing to do it, anyway!

Just purchased a Snake Crate for my daughter she is fascinated with snakes but also respects them as well. She wants a pet snake but we have told her that they are a lot of work and take a lot of responsibility and that we need to make sure she has done her research as well as her father and myself before we buy one just because we want one. She is also only 8. We have been followers since your old home videos and we watch every new video together. Thank you

I could see Snake Discovery making their own app or online game where you could breed different species of snakes and collecting the color morphs. Like those games where you can breed horses or dogs or dragons, except snakes.
I can't believe all these babies didn't get snatched up immediately, but I'm so glad you had a few remaining when we came for the build-off last week! My new girl shipped out today and will be here tomorrow!! I can't wait to welcome her home!

Random thought as you were talking about the difficulty of false water cobras - an easy stream idea: tier list of snake species difficulty. You and Ed could sit down and pull up a tier list of all the snake species you breed and rate them in terms of difficulty to keep. Could be a regular video, but it might be more fun to have love chat (is your live chat entertaining for you? I never have made your Livestreams, I'm always VOD squad).
They have a two old videos like that. They have a list of 5 different Beginner level snakes in one video and a different video with intermediate level snakes.
Thanks for updating us on the sunburst and other babies from last year along with the new babies! Most people have already said this, but I will never get tired or egg or egg cutting videos. I will often put on a playlist to clean or cook if there aren't new videos 😂
Those babies are adorable, there's something about how the false water cobras flatten themselves that I find kind of... Cute? They're chunky looking babies too, which I like
I really think the lighter one has a small chance of being a morph! Even on camera it's much lighter and it seems to have a reduced pattern with much thinner bands. It really stands out against the others. Either way I'd try to breed it in the future!

Literally I watch all your videos but my favorite by far are the breeding videos and by showing us when the eggs are gathered and put it incubation we know what to expect for when the babies are born and we get hyped for that

23:40 It's insane how much better you can see the Lavender morph on the phone as opposed to the camera despite the snake even being deep in shed. The camera you guys have been using definitely has some extremely high yellow balance which is probably why it seems to get rid of all of the purple in the snakes! This video is just the most stark example of the high yellow in the camera you guys had been using compared to the phone (while being less vibrant, reflected colors way more accurately)
I love the baby she used to show the spotted belly after all the other ones flattening their heads and striking at her. That one was just happy to be there lol. All docile just flickin their tongue as she moved them around to show off their belly to the camera 😊

I feel like I say this every time, but I (and probably the rest of your viewers) will NEVER be tired of egg videos, laying or hatching. I literally want to see every single clutch you get. I realise that this would be unduly onerous on YOU, and that's a fine reason not to do it, but don't EVER think that we don't want to see every single one. I'd wager most of us would be thrilled.

The new babies are adorable! 😍 I love fake danger noodles, but opted for the Egyptian False Cobra over the FWC... wasn't quite ready for an enclosure with full water feature just yet, still experimenting with smaller ones in a few smaller setups. I totally hated and feared snakes before but since I've been watching and learning from u guys my mindset has changed a bit. Not saying I'll own one any time soon but I have learned to respect the beauty of them.

The baby videos are my favorites!! Baby season is what I live for 😍 and I think the regular programming should continue. Just my opinion.

Getting tired of egg videos is like getting tired of watching presents pile up under the Christmas tree.
We never get tired of baby videos. Please dont forget to do random garter videos.. i know they breed often but its still nice to see the babies and their colors. My kids want to come visit and possibly adopt a garter but we never see them anymore.

I feel like I say this every time, but I (and probably the rest of your viewers) will NEVER be tired of egg videos, laying or hatching. I literally want to see every single clutch you get. I realise that this would be unduly onerous on YOU, and that's a fine reason not to do it, but don't EVER think that we don't want to see every single one. I'd wager most of us would be thrilled.

I get so so excited with baby videos😊😭😍💖 it never ever gets old or boring. Always fascinating to see how incubation works how morphs are even just the different personalities you see in babies before growing up! These are beautiful though very cool to see, my fav baby vids are the hognose babs and then I really loved the mangrove snakes

This was also just a cool video! The veins in the eggs were so distinct! And I'm used to y'all showing off smaller babies, so the sheer amount of snek in the hatching boxes was really fun!

The new babies are adorable! 😍 I love fake danger noodles, but opted for the Egyptian False Cobra over the FWC... wasn't quite ready for an enclosure with full water feature just yet, still experimenting with smaller ones in a few smaller setups. The sass is incredible lol

Emily you should know by now we never get tired of videos. We love all the videos you post. We all impatiently wait for every little thing. I wish I could get my hands on even more videos from you guys in general. You're my ultimate favorite UA-cam channel and I recently finally got opportunity to get a baseball cap from the store after four yrs of being absolutely in love with your channel. I have my eye on other things I love in the store and hope to eventually budget to get more things. But I am always on look out for videos from you. When I had snakes I had balls and carpet python and boas which aren't too common in your videos but I feel deeply in love with your videos and absolutely love your energy and enthusiasm. I got my nieces and nephews hooked on your videos too and any time I meet someone or know someone who likes snakes or reptiles in general I recommend you to them cuz you guys are my favorite channel of all time and I can never get enough of your videos. Thank you so much for them. They make my day every time. I am catching up on some I didn't realize posted cuz I missed a few of the notifications but yes we love everything you post. I can't have snakes anymore so you are how I get my snake fix. I can never get enough videos and desperately wish I could spare the money to do patron so I can be even more connected to the whats happening at snake discovery. I live too far away to come out and see the zoo but my love is aware that it's a dream of mine and tho he doesn't do snakes he was going to take me to a reptile expo out here not that long ago but I was sick that weekend. I have just discovered something about false water cobras. They all have an "A" shaped pattern adorning their head stamps. And I went looking for pictures of the other wild types and they all have the A.
