martin gonzalez .. Loui needs to drop some shit first that beats that mate. You don’t get it for the past. If Joslin comes up with some other stuff this year it is a good call he gets it. Or Jamie again for being gnarly every fucking day 😂
Chris Joslin: you know moving your hands and feet at the same time? That's hard man, thats a lot of work Also Chris Joslin: ghetto birds wallenberg also inward heels wallenberg so his camera man doesnt feel left out
Love the berg. Best I ever did was just ollie the set. I’ve seen some major history there tho. Drake Jones, the McBrides and I’m doing major work on those big ledges.
That’s skateboarding for ya tho homie, I destroyed my body for years, but it’s Seriously the best time of my life. I wish I had it all on video, but throughout the 90’s, no cell’s w/ cameras & there was only like a few filmers I knew, so they’ve got all my footage stored away somewhere. But I never wins big is Chris has. I could go pretty big but... fuck nah!
@@Seamo57 Worst pain I ever felt was when I was riding at the park about a year ago and there was like big and steep bank with pointy ledges and it was about 2 meters tall. So I tried to nosemanual it there was little stone and my tire hitted it. I kinda like jumped in the air to 3 meters and fell straight on my right ancle. But in bout 5 mins I was back at it and landed it. Felt too good to be real
spydergs07 ok. you can’t deny some people are gifted with resilience. None of us in these comments could take these beatings and end up successfully landing something lol
I'm going to assume you're 12 years old, but keep your lame-ass alt-right bullshit out of skateboarding. Maybe watch some clips of how Chris Cole dressed back in the day.
rebukeasitis yeah it's really weird how No one asked him what type of skaters he liked we were just appreciating one specific skater and he just spews that goofy ass opinion out but hey freedom of speech
Anybody who has ever battled a gap will understand how much of a warrior this dude is. Its no wonder a majority of skaters chose the ledges and rail approach instead haha
rails are fucking terrifying. some of the smaller gaps joslin does tricks on i might not be afraid of. but every single rollup to a rail feels like death row.
I always found big stairs (tall shit) to be scarier than rails tbh (if you’re talking about some crazy rail or a certain trick that’s different, but generally speaking). I just couldn’t make myself into a big stair person, I didn’t like the idea of the impacts.
ZuñigaFilms 1 they’re cool but the nollie flip is so fucked. Like just imagine nollie flipping that. Having to go that fast and popping nollie off something that tall
I can’t imagine nollie flipping it honestly. You have to have them down perfectly (but also have your nollie skating perfect overall), to keep it under you and keep your balance right after you pop. It’s real easy to just go flying and lose the board behind you, etc. I’d rather try the inward heel. The ghetto bird though? Fuck that.
Dude, I wish every single one of these had commentary like this. In fact, if anybody is aware of any other Rough Cuts in this vein, please point me in the right direction! Such a sick idea and so enjoyable to watch+listen to. I guarantee everybody wants this but I understand schedules are hard to line up and it takes a lot of extra time and editing. Regardless, I (and I'm sure many, many others) appreciate this greatly.
chris joslin skater of the year. he has so much personality in his skating, his style is far from perfect, like how luan oliviera skates, but it makes his skating interesting and accessible. so gnarly. and all those tricks he did on a broken board, he just flexes so hard, and is so humble about it. he is probably the best skateboarder alive. noone does what he does.
Henry Heissenbuttel .. You don’t like his style??? You say Luans style is off? 😳😳😳😳 Dudes (both of them) have one the best styles out there in my book. You watch to much street league bruh
no! you misunderstand, I love luan's style, his skating is like literally textbook, the first time i saw him skate was chris chann vs luan in the pros vs joes in the BOTB and when i saw him do his first kickflip at 50 mph, chest high, and stuck at the apex, my jaw literally dropped. he looks like a fucking video game! but that being said, i feel like sometimes it looks too effortless and it gets a little sterile or something. if that makes any sense? joslin's style is raw, and he goes beyond big, it looks like he is putting everything he has into landing his tricks, like he sprints as fast as he can, and does two HUGE pushes and then literally throws himself at the obstacle and commits 110% every single time, and the trick he lands does not always look perfect like how luan does all his tricks. but there is character in joslins skating, a desperation to land and roll away, and he will do what ever it takes to stick the landing. because what chris joslin is doing is so extraordinarily next level, he doesnt care if its not "perfect" pretty much every single clip in his part is ground breaking.
well said, I love both skaters but you're definitely right on the personality. This is one of the reasons I don't like watching micky papa skate that much, it's so sterile and robotic, albeit amazingly tech (not hating, the dude's incredible). Little imperfections make it interesting! :D
Joslin is a beast. He's straight KILLING the game right now, but he's also like the nicest dude ever. "I wanted to inward heel WALLENBERG 😱 so the filmer got something, too." My man chucks himself down one of the most epic spots ever cuz he's looking out for a filmer. He's likely the best power skater i've ever seen and instead of being a conceited prick, he's like the kindest dude ever. So humble. Virtuoso skater; but (more importantly) a genuinely good man. Hats off to Brown Bear. Keep killing it, mate. You're winning in every way imaginable. 🙏
41 years old been skatin since 12 early 90s. Big clothes wide skateboards small wheels. Seen hundreds of skate vids. Best vid I seen in years. Mucho props man. Love to see the struggle toward victory.
Dude, this guy is an animal! He takes so many slams but still goes up to try the same trick over and over again. One of my favourite skaters for sure. I absolutely love these type of videos. Amazing!
Rough cuts are always better than the actual parts just because it lets you in on how hard it is to skate on this level. Keep it up and become the best skater there is! Best regards from Finland!
Amazing smooth and chilled commentary! Great, humble, dude... A lot of luck for you buddy! I remember when I fist saw some footage from you from some park demo back in the days when he was not recognizable and then I knew that one day he will become living legend of gaps/stairs 🤙🤙🤙 cheers!
This part was all around amazing. Gaps, Stairs, Rails, Tech and Unique tricks. Every trick was accounted for as well and usually down or across a large stair set or gap. I was completely blown away.
It's awesome seeing pros have to work at getting a trick instead of seeing them first try almost everything. It makes you see how it every scrape and sore body part is worth it when you finally get it. I miss skating
I hope he's OK. It seems like he's pushing himself to the limit. It's important to have people around who are concerned with your health and not just your success.
I love this style of video part, where they're commentating on the tricks were seeing. Who better to have in that part than one of the gnarliest skaters in the world
Man this guy is a beast ...love se him skate he is aggressive, look how he is always dirty from trying he does not care he loves skating... Don't change man congrats on your family your grandmother is very proud....🔺️🛹🛹🛹👍
This really put into perspective how much work really goes into these video parts. Watching a full video part doesn't really do it after these. I love these behind the scene videos. I'm more hype when he does land his tricks.
Chris Joslin is the best skater alive. No one else does the technical tricks he does at spots as big as he does on a regular basis and rolls away so cleanly.
You’ll prolly never read this but after all the skateboard God hype is over it’s people with your talent that helps skateboarding progress to the next level. God bless 🙏. You’re the man‼️
Skaters are so good that I can't imagine being a kid who can't ride a board yet and ever thinking to become a pro skater. But that's why I'm old and don't skate anymore and these kids are doing it!
Goes skating, comes home looking like a 16-hour shift in a coal mine. Respect.
Seems like a real humble dude, hope he gets SOTY finally this year.
Occupy My Life I met him at the Etnies premiere, such a humble dude. Super chill in person!

Exactly!
I'd watch a My War of Chris Joslin treading water.
hahhahahahahah
All of my friends stopped skating years ago but Chris Joslin and Jamie Foy inspire me to keep skating forever!
wolfgangpimpcup thats sick dude keep going!
wolfgangpimpcup Amen brotha
same dude
Stay rolling brother!
Guys like this made me give up on skating lol! I still fck around but stopped really trying
Love Joslin, he's got such a down to earth attitude and his skating is next level.
"When it comes to just treading water... that shit's hard dude." Inward heelflips Wallenberg third try.
Man how did he nail that hardflip 180 that was even more sick
As soon as he said that I was thinking “the dude who tre flipped the Davis gap thinks treading water is hard?” 🤔 lol
Joslin: “The rumor is I landed it 3rd try “ 😂😂ain’t a rumor he did land it 3rd try
Its the kicking your legs while moving your arms is hard dude that gets me
@@Xsk8phalifeX the one down hollywood 16 also is legendary
inward heels wallenberg *so the filmer wouldn't feel left out* ...SOTY x 1 trillion !!!
fuckin G
He's the SOTY that never made SOTY. Definitely in that league.
Fucking machine!
I KNOOO! Like just wtf!!!
Love the berg. Best I ever did was just ollie the set. I’ve seen some major history there tho. Drake Jones, the McBrides and I’m doing major work on those big ledges.

Gotta know how to fall and learn to accept pain as part of it.

I felt that
I haven't skated in probably 7 years but he is so fun to watch. Dude is such a beast
This is the Best part of the year. Joslin is the Best skater alive. This is the proof
Mario Cortijo best stair skating. Without a doubt. But he’s not the best.
Him and chris cole are the best. All these black, wigger, rap music nike wearing skaters can suck it.

Nick Trees not really bro i skate both i jus like that you can be more creative on a ledge or rail
@damperaura i know that exact feeling lol
Such a crazy video so interesting did not feel like 16 mins when I watched it

And shitting blood
my mind can't comprehend how someone can be this good at skating
I can't even walk down those stairs
LMAO
bahahahahhahahahahahahahahaha
neither can he once he’s done
That nollie flip down the double set is the gnarliest thing in his whole part
