Anyone reading this; falling correctly is not something you just read about and know how to do. It probably took years and years of practice for him to know how to fall, and, or, kick the board out from under him. Another thing is, if you just watch how other people fall, and look at how they do it from how they lead their fall, to how they flow through it, you can learn a lot. I hope all of you fellow skaters pick up on how to fall, and avoid injury because I’ve been there, and it sucks. Good luck, wear a helmet if you think you should, and have fun.

There is NO money in skateboarding unless you get so popular you can build a brand. Even Nike doesn't give out big shoe deals for skaters aside from Nyjah and other top 25 competition guys. A lot of kids get blinded by the occasional $10,000 competition 1st prizes. -Money which is still not enough to live on for the year. For most skaters it's just a love of skating. Free decks are a blessing!
gabelogan56 Uhh this is a new age. If you get popular on social media you can literally sell 20 dollar tickets to a local skate park and have skate sessions. m g He'll have the money to retire at 40 while we'll all be working until 65.
Sign a few boards take a few pictures, skate the park and make a few thousand bucks every weekend. Throw your name on some merchandise and it's easily a good living. Nowadays anyone can be Chad Muska if you got style, tricks and marketing.
@@gabelogan56 Marketing is the easy part. You just have to know how to do it properly. Sure, skateboarding doesn't pay much, but everything else around it does. For example, Spencer Barton.
love watching this dude skate
9:36 thats the gnarliest hardflip ive ever seen

1. This one
That butt focus tho
That was beautiful to watch. I think anyone with ambitions to be a professional in any sport should watch this and actually take the right lessons from it. This is what it takes to be at the highest level of something. Pain, work, dedication, obsession, courage, commitment. I have trouble committing to dinner plans, meanwhile Chris Joslin is committing to a trick that could kill him if he even once can't hold his neck rigid, can't keep his head off the ground, can't stop an ankle roll, and he does this multiple times a day, all year long. That is a professional, and my respect is absolute.
Those impacts look so damn painful!!!
Ever seen Jerry Hsu's Stay Gold B-Side? Probably the most painful looking I've ever seen, haha! He gets destroyed dude!
Devin White hes got jelly bones
+Joshua Davies 100% agree
+Devin White he's got an ass of steel

I threw my hands up after all of those man. You filming the attempts gave me feels.
you know this guy hardcore when he uses a lighter instead of wax for the ledge
“Gotta do whatcha gotta do”
Under the impression he was melting wax to spread it out more
@@ihateonyourcomments he was. andrei is just an idiot.
Lube??? He wasn’t trying to fuck the ledge.
andoy 64 who uses LUBE to wax a ledge?
Joslin is a sender no doubt...that nollieflip down that drop was insane and the varial heels
Watching this really makes me want to go out and huck myself down a big gap. Shred on!
I need to learn how to fall like that.
