Me being a owner of Polo 1.2mpi, I'll be upgrading to Verna 1.5 Turbo DCT instead of Virtus GT because of the poor resolution of camera without adaptive guidelines in Virtus and it misses out front parking sensors. Also the AC cooling in Verna is much stronger than Virtus GT. Hope VW group learns something from competitors, that these HD resolution camera, adaptive guidelines, front parking sensors are very essential feature in our congested city traffic conditions.
No offense please. I personally believe that people buy VW products not for features but for ride quality and handling. VW products live for that.
Verna has the worst suspension here ,very wobbly ....also use of cheap quality plastic plus the exterior 🤢🤢🤢
Honda City wins for me ... nice & comfortable with no hassle ownership experience... City works for me!

Bashing Verna has become like a trend as seen in many forums and channels now but I think in the end its gonna out sell both slavia and city because of its vfm and all round performance
Yeap you are right!!!......I also noticed that car journalist,memers,Reviewers all are bashing mocking the new verna on Social Medias and praising slavia and Virtus and telling ppl to buy slavia and virtus and not The new verna
@@Adwatism I don't think any proper journalist made fun of Verna, most of the chapri youtubers did actually to bash it and gain views but it is proving it's mettle in proper comparison videos.

Verna is another piece of shit from Hyundai
Real enthusiasts know what a gem of an engine honda city has it is a revv happy engine and you can revv upto the 7200rpm.
In 1st gear you can go till 48kmph and in 2nd gear you can go till 108kmph. That's all you need to have fun. Plus soft makes the ride comfortable tho it's not a good handler like VW. And Verna is the fastest of all. But VW offers great handling. I feel if you need features go for verna otherwise the city is the overall package and if you're a polo fan boy then you already know which one to choose.
For me.
1. City.
2. VERNA/Virtus.
3. Slavia.
And in any case I'll avoid the 3 cyl engine even if it's 1 sec faster. And in India you can't go beyond 120kmph and it's not advisable.
The City is quite a capable machine. The competition has just gotten better though.
City's dashboard feels like it's a decade old tho

No doubt Verna comes with a good VFM package. Germans should bring down their price for top end 1.5 .
They really can't even if they wish too.. the 1.5-litre TSI and the seven-speed DSG are completely imported in India , unlike Verna's 1.5 turbo which is totally assembled here.
Verna also comes with massive cost cutting, suspension is really bad, there is lesser covering for exposed parts, plastic used is damn cheap ‼️

The back seat part of slavia is a big turn off, have test driven verna and slavia. Verna back seat shoulder room and leg space r miles ahead of slavia. Only issue is verna doesnt have head rest for the middle seat
I visited and handpicked the Verna in its turbo red stitched Balck interiors. It was quite a good comfy space and more legroom. But City is still the best ❤
Who needs a comprehensive review that covers mundane details like ground clearance, build quality, safety features, headlights, high-speed handling, and brake bite? Those are just trivialities, right? Instead, let's just marvel at their unwavering recommendation of the Verna. TopGear, your dedication to mediocrity is genuinely awe-inspiring.
Appreciate the input but I have a few reasons why these weren't focused on as much.
Ground Clearance is just numbers and can be easily looked up.
Build quality is something all three cars have in spades and that isn't somewhere they fall short. Besides it's something you can easily experience as a buyer on your test drive. Safety features again differ from the varient you pick and choose.
Headlights are something we've been meaning to test but would require us to switch equipment for something that can shoot the lights better at night and also measure the luminosity.
High speed handling is something we cannot shoot on public roads but it's something we intend to test in the future.
Brake bite is again something that can be quite subjective and has a lot of variables that can affect the outcome like surface, tyres and weather.
I appreciate the harsh criticism but there are parameters that tend to limit us too.

It's pretty decent around corners. Though it's not nearly as agile as the Skoda Slavia.

Verna is the choice and it is going to outsell the other brands this year. Comment section is thrashing and bashing Verna but it is the best package right now.

the reviewer was jabbering his mouth and ate up the ADAS tech which is avail right lower the spec 2nd base model now they got paid to go "hush hush" and not make it out a major factor & USP in the CITY!
He ignored the 4 cylinder and the ADAS of honda. And mentioned all his summary is vague.

NA Verna sxo with mannual is 15k expensive than the city and the trade off of adas and back seat comfort of city with ventilation on front seats, better infotainment system, upmarket interior and better service network actually makes the NA verna better vfm among these

Slavia has looks & safety with very good 1.5 turbo engine which is very hard to beat.
True but it falls short in some areas.
@@TopGearMagIndia In features and soft touch materials yes somewhere compared to the competition but the strong points of Slavia/Virtus are just too strong with the most points in GNCAP which ultimately made it the safest car of India (with 5 stars in child safety) .... Not to forget they forced Hyundai to launch 1.5 GDI with verna and upcoming creta...... still I doubt that the 1.5 GDI is already running in higher state of tune however I'm sure 1.5 TSI is running on low state of tune....... it can produce morw than 180 bhp if VAG does so.......... Also VAG even showed the amount of high strength steel used in it which I don't think Hyundai/Honda can do in case of their respective cars. Ofc there's always room for improvement in every car with some or the other package but as an overall package I can see Slavia/Virtus outperforms it's rival......

@@kd-qn9dj VAG can do alot of things if they choose to do so. Lemme tell you one fact..... The power figures of VAGs on paper are not true at all.... If u check it on dyno they'll be more ...... It's just that VAG is being modest and on the other hand Hyundai is ...... There's one article wherein Hyundai was sued for showing exaggerated power figures in their car which was in Brazil 😂😂😂 And I absolutely agree if VAG commits here they can really launch great cars and this cars would be untouchable as you said but I think they're happy with whatever is happening rn....... Their main focus still is on exports and their export quota is full which matters most to them.....

@@VarunTomee-kr6nf bro, suspension is adequate really. Honda and Verna are soo soft on the suspension that their engine capability and handling goes for a toss. Slavia is literally a great package

Edit: this little Reviewer didnt even budge to cover the cars actual USP ADAS ( dumbling ) there's hardly anything out there which gives you level 2 adas tech from the 2nd base model. (MT V model)
Come on man , the whole competition went ahead and extended their wheelbase yet the rear comfort is why the CITY is KING and true to its Mettle... some classic guys will pick it up and forget the resale demon in like 10plus years!

Verna looks like a car 2-3 segment above, on road it can be easily mistaken for a sports car.
Salvia looks like a strong car compared to these 2. I think it’s still a winner. Honda has diluted the brand Honda by not launching exciting products for India. I remember in 2009 if a person had CRV, it would mean a lot. But now it’s like a Hyundai or Maruti.

A confusing review presented in a very confusing manner. I know it’s difficult to do an impromptu. But atleast plan and script beforehand about the pros and cons of each car.

Not true. I think we were comparing a certain type of cars with certain type of performance and features and the Maruti didn't cut it for us. Nevertheless we can still do a video with it in the future.

Honda City with its naturally aspirated engine is low on performance compared to its turbocharged rivals....so it better be cheap(which it isn't, for what it offers) ......but who would have thought that a day will come when Honda City(once a performance benchmark) will be the least powerful car in a comparison test........ .clearly competition has upped the game while Honda hasn't!!
