It's also why the abandoned houses you find have that elevated roof, so that just like in real life the smoke goes up into the roof space and through the thatch. If the roof above the fire is high enough you should be fine.
I've played numerous survival games. This one will be a gem cause how new it feels. It's a new type of style. I love it great game but like every other game ironing out details you will encounter some bugs.
If you want to save some time farming copper, just have a troll follow you over to the copper node and run out the way when they swing at you... It'll do all the work for you 👍
The last game that was early access years ago that I was hooked on was Starbound. Survival type game 2D and I was addicted. Valheim is the new early survival game that is so good and fun and addicting to play. Love ever minute of it.
Not I, my pc is without a gpu. I am not able to pay 700+for a gtx 1660 ti and or super. Yea rtx 3060 is coming this month but will quickly be bought out by miners. Enjoy those who can.
This is a great help. Can you make a video for what to do once you have your base built. I can't seem to figure out how to make armor and how to start beating high level monsters. Wolves are dominating me in the mountains, Also, would love to learn how to fight rather than just basking the attack button. Thanks for the great video though
I've played solo and it's amazing! I Get the same feeling playing Valheim I had when I played Minecraft for the first time (which was like 2010 or 2011). I highly suggest it! Best description i've heard: Terraria + Skyrim + Dark Souls combined with a Norse mythology --> Valheim
I cheesed the first fight be having the thing constantly swimming just off shore and pelted it from a rock in the water. Now I wanna see if I can dig a big enough pit for the next one, just to see if that'll work.

it's not a bad thing though (IMO), having a flint axe break while in combat with a Greyling Shaman etc, isn't a good thing. So it adds to the survival level to have to keep a spare and sharpen them up when you get home...
Please explain to me how to cook I throw the wrong meat on the cooking rack with the fire and it starts to cook on it and then it turns into coal how do I stop it from turning into coal
Well.... even in current mmos, I hardly see people play with each other that much anymore. Especially with auto group finders, instanced housing, instanced dungeons... so even with the 10 player limit, this game is so much better with friends.
I had to unnsubscribe from your video's because I have PTSD and the flashing of the big pink "G" trigger's me. Otherwise I loved your video and thank you for all of the work you put into it. I'm sorry, but I ust can't take it.
@@propixelpower Yes AC Odyssey point was to see if they make a Greek mythology game will it be good or not they knew people will buy AC games so they used AC title but even if we put Fenyx Rising with AC Valhalla you won't get a survival game like Valheim. Yes they have similarities but not much
You can also fit at least two cooking stations over a fire side by side, so you can double the amount of cooking you can do at one time.
you can place three
the limit is 6
with high enough cooking skill I discovered the outer most limit to be 8
Don't forget the fire also needs adequate ventilation otherwise it won't stay lit and a roof so the rain doesn't put it out.
started playing this yesterday if you dont want to desimate the terrain and want a cool hut on a hill use pillars place one and work of that
This early access have has no business being this good. It reminded me of Skyrim with builder mode.
Build a chimney over a fire as you can die from smoke inhalation.
This can be done by just opening a roof panel, or flip the panel to be opposite the roof slope for the opening, and element protection (rain).
It's also why the abandoned houses you find have that elevated roof, so that just like in real life the smoke goes up into the roof space and through the thatch. If the roof above the fire is high enough you should be fine.

Okay but they give you an axe and bow to kill the bugs. Vikings arent scared of bugs.

Playing Dovahkiin for 10hrs on loop would definitely boost the enjoyment
Dam, this game has not even come out yet and is so insanely good. Totally gona grab it when it does.
its awesome i have already bought it just need players
Gotta love the "Optional Secondary Text" tip
Everyone’s on the hype train now.
It's in early access and still way more polished than Cyberclunk

Think Im gonna grab this game, I love games like boundless, and raft so this looks interesting.
I can't find mushrooms to save myself, but raspberry's ive found by the millions
for me mushrooms have been around water like the flint
Yes, but how do I build a workbench?! (Am i missing something?)
So it's basically Viking Conan Exiles.

Amazing game! For indie developer
Bonjour à toi et merci pour tes vidéos, pouce bleu posé sur ta vidéo 👍📼
Just wanna know if this game is fun playing solo.
I’ve got about 15 hours solo and I’ve been thoroughly enjoying myself.
it is, easy 12 hours on your first playthrough
its amazing solo, also good with friends its a win win.

I'll probably get this

The only way into Valhalla is to answer crums question. What is the riddle of steel?!
Might try it idk
💪🏽
It looks like PS2 graphics and I like it!
HOW DO I CRAFT
Whats with the mtv cribs soundtrack??
Is there any point in killing a Greyling apart from watching the resulting fireworks... I have no idea
he drops the resource 'resin'
TPP rust
so its basically like minecart but just a bit more realistic??
What's the point of the repair mechanic if it doesn't use materials? Seems like it's something that just causes anxiety.

How do you fix multi player delays m8 n I co op .. and found there's 30s to 1min delay between us
Survival Game... Without any survival aspects? Okay bro, cool rpg
You need to eat, stay warm, dry, you get attacked by monsters constantly if you don't buy a home. Granted the video doesn't cover that.
its online game?
You can play solo, and you can start a server (locked by password or open) for online play with up to 10 other players.
This looks like a poor man's Conan Exiles
More like the next generation. Conan is a buggy mess
Minecraft meets Fortnite ish with the Viking hype as of late.
me 30 hr and continuing to farm more irons:"ohh.... nice tip btw"

Hi
I wish this was an mmo.
its early acces but i feel like it eventually could be
There's up to 10 player co-op but they said the game is only half done as of now so you never know.

Lol first comment. Looks fun I'm gonna have to try this
viking minecraft lol
is this good for single player only?
yeah single player is still fun in this game
More fun with frnds
More fun with friends, but still good solo. Well worth $20.
Single player is good... but with friends, it can be better *cue Max Lord*
Wait wtf is this? This is exactly like a game I play everyday called grim souls. Is this on console?
Maybe later this year but it's not finished yet
Pc only right now

Viking ark????
What makes Ark = Ark, is the dinos. And there ain't no dinos in this Viking game.
Sooooooo Immortals Fenyx Rising but instead it's AC Valhalla?

No pvp...
Its optional, choose pvp in the Settings If you need it
