Ah yes, the classic anti-war ballad by Flower Maiden
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
🤣
the original is anti-war too tho
@@madwarrior3771 I know
gee flower maiden if this was a real hippie band the name wouldn't work cuz these fower power people did it like rabbits
Finally, an Iron Maiden song my parents would like.
If your parents can´t hear Iron Maiden songs, change your parents
Sorry for your parents😢
Then your children will think it sucks, ah the cycle of life
Unfortunately mine wouldn’t like even this version. No classic, no chance.
@@korkenknopfus actually metal is based on classic
The contrast between the lyrics and the vibe of the song lmao.
This!
My favorite aspect of this!
Flower Power type Maiden.
Um... It's an anti war song already... it fits pretty well.
@@insertphrasehere15 Okay
my father no longer listened to iron maiden, he preferred Protestant Christian praises, but he still really liked it, whenever I played it while studying, he always told the same story about Alexander the Great and his instrumental introduction... I never interrupted him, I always liked seeing this happy and relaxed side of him... it's been 7 months since he left for a better place... we miss him a lot 😔
a month after he left, my son was born.
It was a mix of feelings, a joy in the midst of loss.
The funny thing is that, a couple of weeks ago, I was playing with him in the living room, on his mat, as usual, and we always played music nearby; and when he was a little restless, I put on the Virtual XI album and immediately, he calmed down and started to calm down... at least for a while, you know how babies are 😅
I can't wait to tell the wonderful stories about his grandfather, and perform the songs we loved
The video being filmed in a field of poppies is so perfect for turning this song into a peace loving remembrance of the horrors of past wars. Beautiful touch.
"In Flanders Fields, where the poppies grow..."
Past wars? It's about charging russians in Balaklava, occupied part of Ukraine... give it a year since West is so slow with giving us real weapons.
@@garysuarez9614 "Between the crosses, row on row..."
You'll take my life, but I'll take yours too... ☺️🌸🐝🌳
Yay!! The Iron Tulips!
This is beautiful and incredibly moving... And Joe really looks like a proper flower child! 🌼
Song of one who wanted to Live, Laugh, Love, but lost their life in a mindless conflict
Not to mention it was a order to attack full on with the Light Brigade mistakenly. Their orders were to flank the valley, or to at least approach the guns from an advantageous position and NOT just pell mell down the throats of the Russian guns. And as per military tradition, the officer in charge mistook the orders, and the new mistaken set of directions was not made at fault. He IMMEDIATELY started covering his arse and blamed his next in command. Then had to try and defend himself in FRONT of the leading officer corp that was watching the events of horror happen below them in the valley, from their hilltop position.
An older commander basically misheard orders, and instead of reinterpreting them to the right series of actions that wouldn't waste all his men and horse. Became both ignorant AND stubborn. At least officially that man wasn't disciplined though his adjutant, second was.
[I'm pulling this out of my rear after a long day so I may have missed a fact, or am slightly off on it but I can attest that this is correct.]
It wasn't mindless, it was literally saving Europe and Mediterranean from russian invasion. It stopped them but like always throwing Ukraine under the bus in the process.
I'd love to hear Bruce Dickinson's comments on this one. This has always been one of my all-time favorite songs! Great job!
It's incredible how the different music changes the mood and meaning of the lyrics. Amazing work!!
Love the vintage look of the camera work!
For that true, vintage late-1960s camerawork vibe, they could have zoomed the camera in on the bass player's face for the duration of the guitar solo!
I genuinely love this. The emotion is more of a soldier who knows he's gonna die contemplating life.
Songs of romance and togetherness for sure.
I love how you all filmed this out in broad daylight, in the middle of a field of flowers. It really was that one factor that completed the mood you all were going for.
And the fact that this was played on a 12 string is the icing on the cake
Never imagined The Trooper in this format! Very brave, innovative and out of the box attempt. Love the melody, peace and serenity. Thanks for gifting the world this version of The Trooper!
check out the version by Silent Skies...

Way overdue! I love your Iron Maiden covers! Your rendition of Fear of the Dark is legit one of my favorite songs ever. But I love this too. Keep doing Iron Maiden. Keep them “way too happy” & “way too peaceful.” ❤
We still have all the time in the world.
Fantastic
Amazing
Peace ✌️ brothers
Peace and Love
It could be the song for the end of some movie :D Great!
Oh boy, that is quite something. The key change into the middle-8 as well, damn.
Turning a song about war into a peaceful ballad, now that's something!
HIPPY MAIDEN😃
Awesome!!! 😮😮😮😮 Wooow
I thought this was going to be a joke/ parody and maybe it is, but I sincerely enjoyed it.
This is absolutely beautiful! I adore the original song, but this is a completely different vibe that works! 💛
This is EXACTLY how I first experienced Iron Maiden while on LSD back in the 90s!
AWESOME
Oh mein goth ... another masterclass 🤘🖤🖤🖤🤘
This is lowkey AMAZING
this confirms a good song is a good song, in any style
Was going to listen to some Iron Maiden waiting for the hellfest next week and stumbled upon your new awesome and funny cover ! Thank you!
Ive heard this song a million times but I was choking up tears on that last verse 😭
Awesome cover iron maiden is one of my favorite bands
I could list all the technical aspects I appreciate in this. It is skillfully crafted. But I'll simply say that there's a beating heart wrapped in all those layers of precision and craftsmanship, and it shows through. Thanks for all the feelings and an enjoyable bit of audio time travel, too!
It's like, in the last moment, when what was inevitable finally comes, and the only thing left to do is reminisce about the path taken, and make peace with the life lived.
What a nice way to start my Saturday!!!beautiful cover!!!🖤😍🎶
Now we need a belligerant version of Here comes the sun ahahahah
Peace and love, guys. Nice cover!
This was great! It reminded me of 'Where have all the flowers gone ' by Pete Seeger.
Awesome guys in awesome fields! 😍😍😍And absolutely summer vibes.
The outro reminds me of "Communication" by The Cardigans. Great work! Making the death peaceful is surprisingly fitting.
Suns out guns out! You 2 are too fricken adorable!
Amazing!
Not a Iron maiden fan but i'm definitely and absolutely are a Melodicka Bros Fan. You did a great job as always! Peace Brothers!
one of your best covers! its great man!
Freaking....
genius.
soooo beautiful❤
This is 100% what that soldier on the way back from Crimea, after having fought 3 long years and still processing the fact that the war is finally over, would sing
Now imagine that this song will be played in front of the "Challengers", when they are driven by Ukrainian soldiers, will enter Sevastopol, at a time when the russians will run away in fear.
Only if he had a time machine and could visit 1983, or if someone with a time machine went back to the time of The Crimean War and taught him the song...
@@bulat596 Oh dam wish to know some boys an girls so they know, this would be so epic!!!
Oh, when will the Russians give us, Ukrainians, just a normal life in our country
considering that the soldier on the song dies - I doubt it
Love this!! You guys are the best. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Holy shit, you nailed this!
dude, thats way to good that i imagined
Truly inspiring!!!
For those who like this cover I suggest the band "Hellsongs", they did a similar cover of "The Trooper" on their first album "Hymns in the Key of 666"
Thanks dude!! Listening now 👍🏻
Awesome!
Not even kidding, I think they would love that one
Awesome, well done!💚👌🤘

These guys are GENIUS... I am always impressed by how they can transform the original songs into something completely different but still sounding familiar... It demands TONS of musical knowledge. Congrats!
