- Today I'm creating a Dutch Pour on a metallic silver background...something I don't think I've ever done before, and the results are quite stunning, if I may say so myself! Complete recipe details and ratios are given below as always.

Today's colors: Liquitex Basics Fluid Acrylics in Silver, Turquoise, Light Blue, Phthalo Blue, White and Medium Magenta. These were mixed two parts American Floetrol to one half part paint (no water). Easy peasy!

So pretty, Chris. I like the lines you added. A contemporary flair. I would love to see a "Grandma" Fluid Artist! Paint in her hair and her face and hands! I am 73. I started fluid art painting at 71. I am addicted, and MUST paint every day. I have always been creative. Interior decorating, wreath making, knitting, writing poetry/children's stories.. but fluid art is my passion now. Love your work!!!❤

Oooo! I love this, Chris! When you added the lines, your lines, I think it just kicked the piece up to a WOW! I have about 6 different brands of silver paint. I rarely use them because they always look grey to me. So when I saw how your pallet made the silver actually look like silver, I got excited. I'm going to try this out the next time I paint. I'm working on a real art nouveau vibe jar sculpture. I did a crane on one side☺️. I'm pretty excited about it. I'll send pictures when its done. Thank you! You made my husband and I laugh with your wonderful paintings! You are so clever! And I love your sense of humor! I was so happy when AB said that she was inspired but your flamingo dancers! Very cute is apropos title for the chicken and 'To Bee or not to Bee'. And I LOVE Grandma's birthday!! What a hoot! So original! And this is a beautiful pour in blues, which I like much better than pink. 💖

The chicken on the fence turned out awesome! Granny's bday speaks for it's self...you have a great sense of humor, my friend. I'm thinking that pink is slowly growing on you😆. I've done a few paintings with the metalic background. It's always nice to "shake it up" a little! Another beauty Chris😁😘

I usually hit it with matte spray first, but I didn't in this case and it dried just fine! 😊
