I really like the way you’re doing your colors in the beginning and the slower way you’re doing the descriptions. Gives me a chance to take notes easier. Beautiful colors. Don’t see enough of the earth tones. Would like to see golds!
Outstanding video, Brian! Absolutely gorgeous piece. With all the “new” techniques being circulated, it’s nice to revert to one of the simplest and most stunning!!! Thanks for sharing. 💗💗💗
Absolutely outstanding open cup pour. I like the earthy tone color palette you have chosen and the incredible details of the composition. Excellent job Brian👍🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️🙂
The process from pouring to finding and finessing your composition is fascinating. I hope to be able to take this class in March. The colors are amazing!
Beautiful, Brian! Piggies are such fun to implement :) Payne's Gray is perfect complement for those earth tones. Of course I was tilting my phone as you wete tilting, saying "no don't lose that," and "no, go that way" 😅 Love it, and the methodical way you described what you were going to do next, etc
I always appreciate how slow and steady you do the stretching process. Another channel I watch always just picks it up and stretches it all the way to one side, then another SO quickly and it stretches everything so fast and they lose a lot of pretty stuff that way. I guess the slow and steady fits my vibe a bit more and your paintings always turn out so beautiful!
Loving the earth tone palette! Using earth tones is stepping out of my comfort zone and is a bit of a struggle for me since I'm always drawn to blues and greens 😄 Those cells are also giving me Sara Taylor vibes!!
I love love and re-love this! ❤ An idea: why not trying a tryptic with the same Colors but one with the dark blue base and the third one with the burnt sienna base?
I've tried Brian to do your open cup pours. I've watched and re-watched your videos, and I still can't get it. I will have to live vicariously through you on your open cup pours😉. Beautiful piece,Brian! It's your jam!😊🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞
@Studio15Acrylics I think the main issue is my cells get wonky when tilting it out. I use thick viscosity on the paint, so I think it's just a pilot error. I'm not great at tilting like you are. In fact, it's my least favorite thing to do in fluid art. I can hear you gasping 😋 Brian. I like to swipe with minimal tilting. Plus, when my cells start to go wonky, I seem to lose it and forget all about composition😏. My husband likes my last open cup pour, but it's still stacked up with some other paintings that I think needs a little (or a lot) of sumthin sumthin. So we are back to admiring your beautifully excuted and striking open cup pour.☺️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️
🍃Hmmmm🤔 Interesting... 🧐First time I've watched you ... 🫠 Melting moments... I'm still thinking about it 🙂Reminds me of the technique of oil paint on water, then laying the canvas over the top, picking up the pigments 😊... This art form has stirred my brain rather than my emotions 🙃... Could be a good thing ! Cause I didn't think I had much of a brain left 🤭... Ummmm, what is this art form called ? 🙂 I'll subscribe, watch some more, and see what develops 🤗 "Thank You" for this introduction... 🍃💛🍃
I looking at the background white which I think for me is too much negative space...I would go with a dark blue, black, or even purple...don't like the fall earth tones...much rather have seen a brighter palate with the Gold, bronze, and copper...although earth tones do go well with gold, copper, and bronze...but that's the thing with this medium, which I do like...but there's a lot of hit and miss paintings. Love the background music...very relaxing...and good job overall!
Thank you. It's my fluid art piece so when I'm making it, I see what I like and don't like. Art is subjective. Believe me, I hear it all the time from viewers that I should stop tilting. lol

Very nice!
Thanks!
Brian, this is stunning!
That's brilliant 😊
Very nice, Brian! Great job!! I love the small cells that run along the piece in the negative space. Colors are so pretty. Thanks for sharing!❤️
Super cool! I love the colours even though I'm a bright colour loving person. Well done, Brian! ❤🐨😃🦘👍
Love it!
Hi Brian. Can you share how you mix your pigments for this pour. It looks fantastic!
I put about 2 tablespoons of Minwax Polycrylic Gloss in a cup and then i add about 2 scoops of the TLP pigments and mix. Then I add American Floetrol.
It looks like there is an upside down giraffe head/ neck at the top🦒
😂😂

Interesting twist!
Did your mix pigment with floetrol only?
I was tipping (my phone) with you 😅
I do that too. Lol
Where can I find TLP pigments?

Thank u 😃😃
Great job of manipulating the paint to achieve your design.
Thank you, Marlynd :)
Why didn't you stop after a bit of tilting. It was so beautiful but you went to far & ran off to much. imho. Still a nice painting.
Thank you. It's my fluid art piece so when I'm making it, I see what I like and don't like. Art is subjective. Believe me, I hear it all the time from viewers that I should stop tilting. lol
Not sure about the white negative space.. looks too ordinary, odd color palette
In my opinion you ruined a beautiful beginning.
thanks for YOUR opinion. :)
Love the colors, the pigments are fantastic 🎉😊
