Today's recipe: Four parts Floetrol to one part paint for Artist's Loft Soft Body Black (base coat) and two parts Floetrol to one part paint for colors: DecoArt Extreme Sheen in Silver and 24K Gold. The blues were custom mixes of small craft paints, mixed two to one. Water added to all to thin to a nice swipe consistency.

Yes, I was holding my breath 😅. In fact, just when you said my name, I took a big gulp of air☺️. I have to concentrate on not holding my breath... a bad habit. I am so excited to see your floral painting on this beautiful background! What a cool reaction you got with the 24k gold. It looks like gold bubbles. It's going to be a really cool element in your floral. I love your tangerine painting! The realism mixed with the swipe is such a unique and interesting look and feel. It has me craving a tangerine, or three😋. Still-life painting is obviously a skill you conquered a long time ago. It's very appealing to me because it draws attention to things of beauty that we take for granted. God made everything so perfect in design and color. It's so easy to forget this in our busy lives. I can't wait to see this painting when you are done! Someday, I hope to be able to paint in the old master style. What was your paint consistency? Any additives to get those beautiful cell?
No additives, exact recipe/ratios provided in description box...follow them for proper paint consistency. 😊

I’m new at this and I have so much trouble with leveling my paint pour .. what am I doing wrong please.
You need to use a level and test your canvas in both directions (horizontal and vertical), making sure it's level both where you pour and if you move it, where you dry it.
