I met BILLY and his bodyguard at the L A swap meet . They came up to our booth and immediately noticed our beer cooler and ask me if we had cold beers . I said it should be really cold , I just added salt to the ice and it was really cold . We talked for about half an hour in the 103° heat , Billy and his buddy had 2 ice cold beers and we shook hands and off they went . VERY NICE PEOPLE just don't bug them !
when billy bought that 58 he brought it to our shop in sugarland and i lowered it 3'' for him ,i guess it wasnt low enough lol. billy is a gentle man and a true car nut ,i dig what they did to it.
I have watched numerous videos of yours. Nice presentations except it would be nice to hear the engines and see the cars roll. Other than that, nice eye candy.
Not one of my favorite years for the T-bird but they've made it look pretty cool. I love the colors and the bold outline take a little getting used to, but all in all, it looks pretty cool.... at least on the outside. Enjoyed the talking among the guys but would have liked to see a little more footage of the car.
I have the original factory body molds for this car that made the 3/8 scale Thunderbird Junior go karts used for dealership promotions in 58. Obviously original JR cars are a heck of a lot harder to find than the full size cars but I can make new fiberglass bodies, frame and trim to recreate them. Does Billy have any grandkids that could use a miniature version of this car?
I think he was saying "Ni-hice" broken into two syllables. He was super stoked with how smooth the engine was and truly beaming with how much he loves that thing. Right before that he did a 4 syllable one, "Ni-hi-hi-hice" (laughing as he's saying it).
Too many damn people in the shot. It should be the host and the guest and the car at most in any one shot. If anyone else wants to chime in with a comment it should be a break-away segment edited into the presentation. It helps in minimize everyone trying to talk at once. Plus, most of the scenes feel confined. They need to film it in a more open setting.
10 minutes of talking about the "scoop delete" and only one quick shot of it as they started the discussion. A few more shots of it from different angles and maybe a full side view 'sans the guys' would have been nice. Glad we got a quickie of the tail end anyway.
I don't like the frame i like the plate. My favorite ZZ song. She's hot as a pepper and smooth as a Mexican brew. I live in Santa Fe, and I think he's been here a time or two. Or in San Leon That's Texas Ya'll. You don't have to go to the border to put in an order two. Sing it Billy!
Scoop delete? WTF. I love all things 'Billy Gibbons' but on this one I profoundly disagree... nothing wrong with the scoop on the '58. Should have let Billy talk more too... everything the man says sounds LEGENDARY! Everything Adam says is like nerdy... just sayin...
First of all,is this or is this not the landmark Watson "El Vino"? If this is...there should be a history of the ultra landmark design (which, trust us folks, changed EVERYTHING in Kustomizing when it came out in late '58-59...) if this is the El Vino original this is the absolute Worst disrespect of a great Kustomizing icon ever you peop, people, just standing by and 98% talking about yourselves. If this is a skillful (but in some ways ghastly) re-do of the classic that should be indicated....
This is one of the worst showings of a car that i have ever seen. Eleven + minutes of video with no concentrated video of the car. You did not show off the car - you just showed off you.
Billy has the coolest speaking voice too. When he talks, he sounds as smooth as Barry White singing. The Reverend is the pinnacle of badassedness!
Perfect name for the ride...And the song!❤

I think Adam was trying out the camera he bought at the Zapruder garage sale.
Right after he says "quiet old ford" you hear the rockers ticking around 9:09 / 9:10 and is that Blue smoke out the exhaust? I love old cars
Hi this is Billy Gibbons and your Rock'n with the Moby .Early on have mercy.
Billy Gibbons is the fucking man
... burning oil like a sive and the rockers are tickin BAD ~
Beautiful car, billys so cool. Was that a little smoke coming out the pipes when he started it? Didn't look normal
Billy Gibbons has the dopest voice
I love this guys taste in Cars.
Geez, Billy seriously wanted to get in and go get a taco! Just do it!
UA-cam is amazing. Got here after watching Leno do a Boyd truck. Searched on Cadzilla.
Always liked Carolla. Freakin' AI is watching.
my dad had one and had the entire length of the rear fins shaved off. looked good.
made the back flow .

Wow, they need to get that exhaust leak fixed....
Nice car Mr Billy Gibbons 👌
If only they shot this in a better quality than 240p.

.. and traditional FE exhaust manifold leak by the sounds of it :D

My mom's 3rd husband had a '69. Gave me the keys. Love that guy. RIP, Bill.

9:22 damn near killed me when Billy heard the motor shut off and said "NOT NICE " lmao

@@surfercrow yep
Thanks for dominating the conversation with nothing to say Adam.
Adam Carolla is pretentious when it comes to cars. Cringey.
@ctmcdonough Is it an exhaust leak, or just sticky lifters?
what the hell did you guys film this with? a flip video cam?
Beautiful car I love it but it’s starting a bit rich and early idle is a touch rough. Needs a bit of adjustment on a&f mix
I like NICE!!
The man shouldn't, have had to say taco twice.
This guy has no freakin' idea....and he's hangin with Billy? WTF?
Love chrome.
Adam,
Shut up and get Billy a taco.
Thanks,
Scott
realy bad manifold exhaust leak.....
Agreed--on most cars I'd find that unacceptable, but on this car it seemed okay.

@45Machine He didn't even say he'd take Billy up on his offer of tacos for lunch. Hell, I'd be all over that!
Tunnnabyrd!!
Make the video in 1080p or at least 720 I have seen better video quality in a black & white movie.
Adam should be arrested for uploading at this resolution
What ever happened to hamburgers?
Cell phone video quality.
Billy G and the car are cool af....the rest not so much.

@mrpicky510 its all normal
this really looks ugly to me.... once again i show that i am not a pro car guy i guess
No its ugly cuz those birds are ugly
scoop delete//lol
adam is pretentious.
adam should learn to keep his mouth shut once and a while so the owners can talk a little more. jmo
This is one of the worst showings of a car that i have ever seen. Eleven + minutes of video with no concentrated video of the car. You did not show off the car - you just showed off you.
Billy is a little skinny dude.
Car sounds like shit
Adam carola is cringe hardcore
Why do people take nice cars and fuck them up like what they just did to this Thunderbird. That is butt ugly
Ugly car. Hey camera guy, try doing you job and film some of the car. I know that Billy's beard is mesmerizing but come on.
That car is as ugly as billys hat
