Can you please tell me where you read that the rpms are limited in only North America models?? The dealership tells me differently

Look at the Kawasaki Canada website and the small print right under the name.

Reaches max torque at 11,500rpm not redline at 11,500 you dummy

To limit the torque you must limit the RPM . The ECU will limit to 11,500. To achieve higher rpm an ECU flash is necessary.
