I new trailer showing a brief look at the machine and gameplay has leaked: ua-cam.com/video/VNSQM0w8FdI/v-deo.html
I love that Stern is doing this table. Wanna see a ball lock feature and the old Gottlieb spinning wheel feature with mulit ball play. They gotta somehow get Roy Schneider on there. Can't just be Richard Dreyfuss and Robert Shaw!
Funny that Marco is taking pre-orders even without seeing the game
I wouldn't be surprised if there are people or establishments that buy this sight-unseen based on the IP and that it's by Stern.
I hope Jaws comes with the BTTF and ET which is what the 1up universal was supposed to be
The theme doesn’t move a needle for me! The only thing attached is the Elwin design.
The toys seems to be interesting, the art it’s blunt
Bill,
I wish I could say I was excited, but another Yawn from me. I like Jaws the movie, don't get me wrong, but the theme for a Pinball Machine doesn't do it for me. For me, Stern has been miss after miss for me after Godzilla, with the exception of Rush, but Yawn-fests like 007, Foo Fighters, Venom and now Jaws? Not interested. You know what would've made this table a slam dunk for me is if they would've gone buck wild with it. Maybe a Jaws Vs. Meg table. Or better yet, a Jaws vs. Meg vs. Sharknado vs. Santa Jaws. Something like that might get me to buy one of these tables at an actual reasonable price, maybe even up to $3,000 for their Top Tier.
As it stands now, I feel the prices for pinball machines have spiraled out of control. People can blame it on inflation or whatever, but to me, Pinball, especially new, is a rich man's game (or someone who wants to take out a loan or mortgage their house). I am truly happy for those who've been anticipating a Jaws table. And if I saw it, or any of the other tables I wasn't excited about their theming, I'm sure I'd give them a play. And could you imagine getting a copyright strike for the Jaws theme, just two notes played over and over again :D
Have a great one Bill!
