I've created a variety of spreadsheets for clients and myself over the years. I've considered offering them for a fee as passive income for awhile now, but your video encouraged me to actually do it today! Extra bonus- the service that I found to help facilitate this only charges when a purchase has been made and has a referral link!
Thanks for the great ideas. I love when you said create it and put it behind a pay wall, someone might not buy it but what if they do. I think we are often our own worst roadblock.
I have a google form called "Bookkeeping intake form" that I ask anyone referred to me to fill out before engaging in services - maybe I should sell that..hmmm
Sure! Make a short video walk through and pop it on your website. When people ask questions about intake, you can reply to that with your landing page for the resource! Do it!
This is such an excellent video! I need to watch it again and take notes next time. I love the idea of a subscription based software Q&A. I think that might be the first thing I implement from this video. Thanks for the idea!
Kate, where did you get started learning about UA-cam? I really want to start doing this, but I'm not sure which software to go with. Are you recording on Camtasia?
I was getting so many bookkeepers messaging me asking me questions that I created a paid Ask Me Anything session that people can use to book a time with me. So far one person has booked a call with me! One thing I want to do is create a spreadsheet I can sell to DIY/new business owners.
Question.... I was married last year but we did not even up staying together he owes child support I'm filing married filing separate I'm getting a refund back will they take my refund since I'm linked to him...?
Great ideas! Thank you 😊
Nice
Very informative and thought-provoking. I'm going to rewatch - this went really fast and was full of tons of great ideas! I need to better digest it.
Yes, it was a lot to pack in. My head is a fast talking, idea machine.
Please come back and share what idea you will try.

Way to go! What service do you plan to use to host it and be the payment merchant?

Hey Kate, I like the ideas of templates and swag. However, I don't actually use any templates myself and am not sure I'm creative enough for the swag.

You can file jointly and file the injured spouse form to do not share your refund amount to pay liabilities
