EVERYBODY PLEASE Use 2 zip ties on the breakaway. One as the break point and the other that HOLDS the breaking zip tie onto the anchor / chain links so we don’t end up with thousands and thousands of zip ties being left all over the world by kayakers! The second zip tie keeps the broken one attached to your anchor so that when you retrieve it after breaking away you can then dispose of it properly and not leave it strewn across the ocean floor.

Funny how when it was time to demonstrate how it drops and fits in the deploy tube you connected to both lines, the breakaway and the main. Is that because the main cable gets stuck outside the deploy tube when you reel in your anchor? I hope not. 🤔🤔🤔

Anchor knot I use is a loop with a match stick. The match stick will break releasing loop.

Nice set up. Love my Jackson BR. But the only thing I seen about the anchor trolley add on is that you would hook it up between the anchor and launch tube, not between launch tube and the hand wench (the spot where your hand was). Its a nice setup for fresh water for sure. But in saltwater,
I like the option to unhook my anchor from anchor trolley and drop the line in the water (obviously with a float on the end) to fight the big fish. Once done, paddle or troll back to your float and re-hook. Keep it up, love the videos.

Ya, try unclipping that line you said shouldn’t be clipped in with the other one and then reel in. Gonna hang up every time on the front of that chute when retrieving.

Now that useless Anchor hookup is going to be in the way either I`m going to have to cut it off or zip tie it to the S.S. loop . I think they could have figured a way to take the loop off if you didn`t need it without destroying it . I understand the Anchor is used for other application .
