Of all the live 2016 shows that are up on You Tube...this is their best performance; LOVED the way they closed out the show11 Really wish they would put out a live album from the 2016 tour!!!!
I got up super early to buy tix for the Roxy show...and by the time I double clicked it was sold out! FM!! So I quickly shifted to the SF show and scored tix! Hotel+airfare? Who gives a shit! Best money I ever spent! And I was floor level too! Miki is sexy forever!
@@mdbrumbach1 Lucky S.O.B. I'm happy for you, really. I was in Oklahoma (on a contract) at the time, but assumed they would return to L.A. (where I'm from). It all happened so suddenly. Grrr.... Edit: I also happen to be a fan of the Psychedelic Furs and the Fixx. So, I'm not a stranger to bands reuniting. Still, I assumed too much, clearly. Good for you, though.
@@inelhuayocan_aci Thanks Brother! I remember reading a very profound saying: ALWAYS see a band you like, no matter what. You just don't know what will happen. This totally resonated when Kurt Cobain took his life. Think of all the Nirvana fans who were like, "Ah, missed this tour. Oh well. Catch 'em next year." I've always loved Lush and I did the same thing: "I'll see them next time!" Well... So, when the reunion tour was announced, I just about shit myself! I consider myself EXTREMELY lucky to have had the opportunity to see them! Luckily, this entire show is available here on UA-cam still(I hope!). Enjoy!!!
I flew from Houston to LA to catch them live after they weren’t able to make it to Coachella that year! So worth it seeing them by themselves at a proper venue.
Was there, it sounded amazing at volume. Good sound system. Nice sized venue too. Wonderful that it was recorded so everyone can enjoy it. They sounded so good, what a shame they don’t get along.
Estoy totalmente de acuerdo contigo. el pelo rojo; y ya ya si se maquilla...un bombón, un rico bombón muy inteligente, bella , adorable....Yo me casaría con ella, sin dudarlo ni un segundo.
Frank, You are going to the Terminal 5 show? I just looked up tickets on Stubhub, and it is says the show starts a 7, but the brooklyn show starts at 9? Does this mean there is no opening act? Could it be a mistake?
landhorses I might go to both also. I have never been to the Williamsburg Music hall. I am driving, I heard it is in a shady neighborhood. They don't have their own parking. I love Terminal 5, but am interested in trying a new place.
I took my two daughters. They've been waiting for this their whole lives. Last time I seen them was at Lallapalooza. I really wish they would have played "last night". Oh well. Next time. It was a great show. Friggen live this band.
I remember when I first discovered Lush I was shoplifting cassetes at Spec's Music in South MiaMi by the old Bakery Center and I just took both Gala & Spooky on a whim. And boy did I not regret it. I later got to meet them at Bayside Marketplace before their show as I was working at Sam Goody at the time. I wish I still had the notebook paper they all signed for me. Oh well, it's the memory that counts.....;€ ❤ LUSH
@@uncooldispatch5438 yes I hope they decide to work on another EP or even better, a new album and follow up with more shows. (Including in the states; Virginia Beach or Norfolk, VA would be my request) 🙏😎

I’ve missed this band! This sounds amazing! Thanks for the work you put into making such a great sounding video. After all these years it’s like I’m back in the club with them.
Thank you for this. I was at this show (right up front between Emma and Miki) and was completely blown away. It's good to be able to look back at this to remember one of the best live shows I've ever seen.
I was at this show, and the visuals in this video are better than I could see from the upper right rear balcony :) I was wearing my "Strictly East Coast Sneaky Flute Music" Swirlies shirt, which somebody actually recognized and complimented - only at a 90s retro-shoegaze show would anyone recognize the Swirlies :)
I wore a J&MC shirt when I finally got to see MBV back in 2007 or 2008 in Dallas. Got complimented on that one. I also remember seeing a dude wearing a Spacemen 3 shirt which was awesome.
they sound so polished now I might even say better but Chris drumming had a more powerful sound not so tinny ,too snarey sound, but I'm glad this exists because I missed this
Was at this show around the time I saw Slowdive. So glad this type of music is coming back. So much good shoegaze that never made it here. The band sounds different without Chris on drums.
Can't believe I just am now seeing this. I thoroughly enjoyed that show bro and it was a good intro to the band. It seemed at times as if the music was dripping from my ears. I mean that in a good way
I wish they had come down to the Southeast. One of my favorite bands from the 90's. I heard this was pretty much it - short tour and a new EP and that's it. Real bummer b/c such a hole is left from these guys not being in the music scene any more.
Wow, what a terrible way to end a reunion that otherwise seemed to be going well for the band. I am sure they lost out on a lot of money from touring. I went to a post album signing for Split and the band was a total wreck so it doesn't surprise me.
Great sound!!! I should have taken the bus to SF when had the chance figured they'd be around for a while longer. So did you mix all the sounds from other users that filmed the same gig? If so that's phenomenal
Miki Berenyi, Rachel Goswell and Bilinda Butcher are still so damn eatable. Yum. Shoegaze girls have something that keeps me warm as an industrial oven, even after all this time.
+Tyler King - I'll say, especially the title lifted from mine! However, Mistersvonvideos did do a great job of synching our various videos with great sound to create a professional-looking multi-camera video.
+Fender Bass Thanks, hope you don't mind but several people asked me to put this together, the goal being to have a complete version of the show with the best sound possible. And I couldn't have done it without you, you're the only one who shot the whole show so thanks for that. Looking forward to seeing them in NYC in the fall.
+mistersvonvideos No Worries! Glad you put this together, it must have taken a lot of work. However, it would be nice if you credited the sources of the videos you used, as you did the sound.
just discovering this band now. I love them. I missed out the whole shoe gaze thing. I think I wasn't comprehending it at the time- funny...
Surprised at how good Etheriel sounds. That and Scarlet back-to-back is the highlight of the show for me.
I love these guys. They're so guitary,it's like a wall of sound. I saw them play the Spectrum, Montreal in the summer of '94. It was wonderful.
Thanks to all for the hard work putting this together really appreciated !! Makes an old LUSH fan so very happy :)
LUSH is sooooo underrated it’s really sad. They are just as good as any of the “quote”, “Shoe-Gaze”; bands……;€
I wish I’d known about this tour at the time. It was such a good setlist too. I really hope they’ll eventually play again.

Saw them in 96 at the Keystone Club in Palo Alto,Ca
Last saw Lush in April of 1992 in San Francisco. Just got my ticket for the NYC show at Terminal 5 this September. 24 years apart. Incredible.
