  • The ALL NEW Range Rover Evoque is here and there are a bunch of changes. Under the hood is a 2.0L inline-4 turbocharged engine producing 246 HP & mated to a 9-speed transmission and getting the power to the ground through AWD. On the inside nothing but high level materials and technology that will just blow you away. Let me take you around the 2020 Range Rover Evoque to see if this is a very capable SUV?

The Evoque can only have a fixed panoramic, however later this year you can order one where the panoramic will open partially so best of both worlds.

I am going to let you know it's a perfect review. I am in the market for an SUV like our car GLK 350, and I am so confused, getting down from V6 to 2L is the reason that we don't want to switch at all. but watching everything you are reviewing it helps a lot. Thank you, and your team as well. You guys are amazing.

It's a luxury SUV that is very capable off-road .. it's not supposed to have a huge V6 as that goes against the type of vehicle it is.
The 2 litre is more than enough , as it always is with British vehicles especially when you consider the top version of the 2 litre gives you almost 300bhp in the P300 model.

You didnt mention 2 crucial things ,
One the blind spot monitoring on the doors will actually prevent you from even opening the doors if it senses something close approaching and it gives you an audible alarm also.
2 in line with its very capable off-road abilities , it has a clearview option at the front of the vehicle which basically makes the front end invisible allowing you to see the ground infront and underneath the vehicle , allowing you to see the wheel positions and the rocks etc that you are crawling over or avoiding

I have the 2020 Evoque S Dynamic in white all blacked out. Got it the beginning of July it had a small dent and scratches on the front bumper. Made an appt to bring it in. The morning of I got in my car and it wouldn’t start. Went through 2 AAA tow trucks and they couldn’t get the car to start, they couldn’t find the wire to pit it in neutral nor they couldn’t figure out how to get the emergency break off. 6 hours later the GM came to my house got it started and has had my car for 3 days now. They said it was a loose body ground 😒 so yeah so far very beautiful chauvinism, I gets a ton of compliments on it, totally not reliable.

It is really sad that there is no button in the rear to lay down the back seats. Plus, they are nowhere near flat. For a smaller trunk space, there will be many times the seats need to go down to fit things. That 45° lay doesn't cut it.

Hi there mate, I've bought most models of the Range Rover's since the 2002 era of BMW owning landrover, then the 2006 Ford/landrover era, and then the 2010 Tata/landrover era with the current Jaguar marriage which was annoying a bit because I see NO difference between my 2018 Jaguar XF prestige & my 2017 Range Rover HSE, every detail is the same including the gear knob! I didn't like the Velar much though, so Iam thinking of placing an order for the 2020 Range Rover Evoque or hit it up a bit & buy the BMW X5? I need a 2020 suv cuz I have several sports cars & willing to sell the 2010 Aston Martin Vantage and I already placed an order for all black 2020 C8 stingray. Keep it up buddy. Best regards from Hamad all da way

That shouldn't be a zonk. What you're seeing is what is called the "strobe effect". its when the FPS from the camera doesn't completely line up with the frequency of the electrical output that the lights are displaying. You'll see this on any car's dash here on UA-cam.

Please don't say that raised hood looks like a cowl induction hood. You seriously "ZONKED" the last time you said the hood on an SUV looked like a cowl induction hood. I think it was the Telluride. Who ever makes it.

My opinion is that you need to have a lot disposable income to own a Range Rover. Comprende?

Another outstanding design and tech but still failed on quality. Unless you will keep it in the garage for display it is not worth it to spend all your savings fixing this thing.

Put a better engine in it. There should be a nice powerful 6 cylinder.

    • @Richie5903
      @Richie5903 10 місяців тому

      Doesn't need a V6 .. it's an off-road SUV , having a V6 would be pointless and considering the P300 2 litre gives 300bhp that's more than enough

@@Richie5903 ...Your opinion not mine. I have never owned a 4 cylinder because of durability. It needs a turbocharger to get power , 246 hp .
You can have as many as you like .
