I bought this a long time ago for the old price of $12. Well worth it for that amount but if anyone was lucky enough to catch it when it was on sale for $6, that was a steal.
This map Breaking Meth is not bugged. The last suspect was under the bed. It's hard to see that because he was well hidden in the dark. You've missed that.
This game is fun. Only main Cons about this game is the Team AI for Solo and the Player base. If this game could blow up and get more funding it would be an amazing game. Whenever RoN adds PvP it'll still lack certain things that Zero Hour has like shooting out lights, a flying drone, repacking mags, random prop generation for each round, planning table, and even more that makes Zero Hour stand out to its competitors. I do believe that Zero Hour's PvP is its strongest aspect, but if improved, the PvE can be just as good too. If you can look pass its graphics and janky feel, it's a unique experience for sure.
If only there was a game that had the creativity, features, and scenario realism that Zero Hour has combined with the gunplay, controls, and graphical polish that Ready or Not has. I'll still prefer Zero Hour over Ready or Not 'cuz RoN wants you to clear whole ass warehouses and hotels with FIVE officers, while Zero Hour gives you the 12-13 man team that you always wanted to do real police shit. Wish they kept the old Bangladeshi voice actors though. Think they switched to American-sounding VO's to draw in the American market, but they have less heart and emotion than the Bangladeshi MS Unit guys.
Man my friends and I really enjoyed pvp zero hour like 4 years ago when it first came out. We were really bummed when it started to die, and quickly the matchmaking was entirely full of the dudes who never stopped playing and that shit got rough
my personal feel is that the game looks better than before, but the gunshots still lack echo at the moment. It breaks my immersion from time to time because the sudden stop just reminds me this is a sound effect in a game.
I remember seeing this game a couple years ago, and when I found out it was PvP focused and played more like CSGO x Siege, I immediately gave up on it. Seems it's come a long way. I shall watch the rest of this video with great interest.
I actually prefer Zero Hour's PvE experience over Ready or Not's. You get a much larger friendly AI team, with a lot more features such as rearming from your vehicle and ordering around your police dog. You even take over a different officer's body if your player character dies, instead of the mission just ending when you die like in RoN.
@@BrinTheBoyalso the pve seems to have procedural generated maps, at least to some extent, which is bad ass as hell. Very impressive for such a small team of devs
I just came back to this game after 1.0 but it's just hell to find a proper match. And I can't play more than 3 rounds before losing connection to the server and being sent back to the main menu - don't have connection problems in any other game. Anyone else having the same?
Playing this game I used it only do third person to see around corners and stuff before they could kill me because I played alone and before the ai teammates were added not that I’d trust their abilities anyways RoN taught me better than to trust them I do remember third person looking a bit different than it did when you played
So that hunched over stance, it's a widely adopted shooting stance. I guess the idea is that you're maximally braced into your weapon fire.. it's it's not a great stands for shooting lol but it is very commonly taught, I think because it's simple maybe and easy to use in a formula for the lowest common denominator.. it's it's a thing that the US army does I guess ie... I saw a video somewhere on here of a special forces operator railing on it, for many reasons lol.. But it is kind of both cool and interesting that they went into that kind of detail.. I don't know how much you would be walking around like that, that's that's one of the problems with it lol.. I can only imagine the leg strength on these folk.. and I will say it actually feels more natural than if they were standing straight up, something about things standing straight up and video games that feels weird, and it's an easy fix to bypass that. What I said about the sound in my earlier comment, it's still applies but this is definitely far from the worst I've seen. Kind of fascinating to see the direction this went.. I figured they were going to pivot when ready or not blew up.. as all of these were floating around in various development stages for years, but I kind of honestly I think the way they doubled down and went further is is to its credit.. and I'm glad you guys brought it up in the video in terms of how certain things behave in contrast. Got nothing against ready or not by the way, I think it's really cool game and I'm just glad that people are willing to put a lot of effort into that the kind of thing.. my One of the most depressing transitions was going from system shock 2, and SWAT 4 into BioShock.. The expectations were so high and the capabilities were there and man was that a disappointing, sadly career making, transition from irrational. Showing a massively in-depth exploration into what games could be, that really impressed everyone with it's added depth and adding more thematic elements into the tactical shooter genre.. and then showing what games were going to be where that had none of that.
The state of tactical shooters (I guess shooters in general) is so dire that a janky slop is considered "a game that actually delivers". Not even sad anymore cause it's been going on for so long, it seems that the genre is just dead

This is a game made by a development team in Bangladesh. The government didn't even know how to tax the revenue the game generated, we simply don't have game development studios in this country before M7 Productions stepped in. It may be a little tough to look at, but the fact our game has reached an international audience is an achievement in itself. Shooting game development is very resource-intensive, You can't expect Call-Of-Duty-like games from a low-budget studio. I won't call it dead but underrated.

The sound is pretty weak sauce.. That's one of those things the French team got right with body cam... Guns are loud.. like stupidly loud.. and it really doesn't take much to approximate that in order to sell the impact of explosion-based projectile launching.. and yet video games are still utterly pathetic in that regard. Looking at you squad, you were so good! And you had it all! And you threw it into the trash and stomped on it! A really good marker for proper tactical shooter sound design is rainbow six 3 ravenshield, specifically ravenshield.. as One of its expansions had a different sound team.. and you can tell it's like a night and day difference of sadness. The sample quality and the actual tech implementation is a little weak sauce, as in poorly implemented looping that is often seen in unreal engine titles.. But the actual quality of the effect and it's mixing is top-notch,; going in incredibly long way to sell the primary form of interaction in the game. And if you look at it without sound, it's amazing how much have a lifting that does regarding the simplistic animations etc.
