Props to Ryan for changing the key during his little baritone solo to get back into the original key
"its Anthony Bartholomew"
"EW GROSS"
**some ranom guy** : "YEAH!"
**jackson** gives thumbs up
lol
I will never not love
"My redhead friend Jack-san"
I thought it was "Jack stand"
2:34 props to Ryan on getting everyone in the right key
Frak wow you’re ignorant
is just chords, why you heff to be mad
@@Haights Indeed he did
I don't know why, but everytime I listen to them sing this, Jake's "Super calloused fragile mystic hexed by haletosis" kills me..
same
Nearly wet myself laughing at it myself.
It's spelled "halitosis".
how many times do you think the 'lets ask the audience to see if they can pronounce it' part failed to get them to be so relieved when the audience sings
"Let's bring Joey Buss again to see if he can do it!"
"...SUPER-"
"Nope too late you blew it!"
[wailing]
Joey Buss, but i felt so bad for him
0:44 those are some sick B1’s from the bass
Abedin Subashi Pretty sure he’s using throat bass.
Meme Sandwich well at least it’s not fry. Either way it sounds sick
I love throat bass
Their comedy has always been gold. I really appreciate how they’ve built their overall tone from good to great in the past couple years :D
I captioned the original and have to say I like that version slightly better, perhaps because of the joke at the judges' expense, and the fact that they didn't feel like they were running out of time. But still my favorite barbershop quartet of all time. Amazing singing you guys.
Me when I see "youtube recommends": THERE'S A NEW ONE! there's a new one! THERE'S A NEW ONE! there's a new one!
Also me: I wish there were another different song....
At least your "UA-cam recommends" are fairly new. I'm getting videos 1-5years old.
0:40 that throat bass tho lol
They sang in a lower key! It sounds super cool :D
my favourite part of the original video is how excited Jackson is to sing his final part, so that version is still definitely my favourite, and I guess there were no judges for this one so they had to change the joke, which was a bummer. still enjoyed this immensely though, just happy to see them performing
I totally agree.
Noooo!! Joey forgot his part! 3:40
his parts are never learned (which makes jake look really BAD)
@@Aviivixnice reference
The whole dubsteppy part is hilarious and awesome! But the rest of it is fantastic!!! XD
First one is superior without a doubt! Gotta love ‘em either way though
Joe’s solo was so funny 😂
Loved this too! I can hear certain words and phrases better than in the first one. They look so handsome as per usual!
2:23 They nail the voice leading
I love how they mentioned the amount of views the original video had 😂
This performance is so clean. Kudos to your hard work and thanks for sharing your talent with us!

I just didn't feel this one like the last one, to put it simply there smiles are just gone from them. The song now is funny but doesn't have the charm the other video they had of this song did?
Quentin Powers I think we’ve all just watched the original too many times
There's gotta be something about performing for the world in front of a panel of judges that gets the best outta them.
they seemed bored to me.
I agree, it's missing the energy of the first version.
That’s just the downside of doing a song multiple times. There’s going to be that one that’s awesome and every ever other time just won’t live up. But that’s applicable to all music.
BTW, I listed Joey as the Tenor for the “dream quartet” entry on FB a day or so back. It was either under the BSH page or Barbershop Peeps.
1:41 "what a weakling!" 😂😂😂
I have several videos of you doing this song (and others) and I enjoy them all. I don’t think you lack enthusiasm, showmanship, or musicality at all. I love ya guys! Top 10 this year!
Seems like they singing this is a lower key
I thought so too but checking it they at least end in the same key
They actually were flat for a good part of it, but the little solo there starting at 2:33 put them back in key
Sung acapella. Barbershop is meant to be that way.
Yeah the original goes from C to A to C# to D. The first two keys in this version are B and A flat, but the last two are the same.
It seems like the harmonies were more locked together in this key and it seemed better for overall tuning
YES
Great yet again!
Very nice
I love their own lyrics
i searched for "Where are they now: guy from Sandlot"
Correction he he went on to be a wrestler called the great hambino lol
aw poor Joey, super- awahghh
The front page of the paper on April 28, 2018: Local Man Murders Seniors Live On Stage
Someone know which mics they are using on stage? Like that the are kind of small - could use them for our small vocal group.
is it just me or are they singing the first and middle part flat?
I believe they are, which could be from the lack of smiling. Ryan seems to get them all in the right key again later, though, when he sings his 'fine'
yeah it has alot of views because of me. sorry about that lol hahaha
AbysmalEnd same, I watched it 100 or more times
Me too.
can someone explain me 1:27 to 1:30 ??? I don't get the joke what he says :C
its a referencing a song in pop culture
fergalicious by fergie is the song they're referencing, it's..... well, the subject matter is, quite. interesting. just look it up. you're welcome and also sorry that you know about that song now! brave of nf4 to pull this off in front of very traditional stodgy judges heh
I still don't get the Anthony Bartholomew joke.
He's an arranger who's friends with basically everyone in the barbershop community. He's apparently pretty friendly and great so everyone likes to joke that nobody likes him.
@@FabriCayke And didn't he arrange this too?
He's the lead in the quartet called Forefront and he's an arranger.
aripockily yes he did
What are the medals they have on?
They're the 2013 Collegiate Champions
now if only they could say it backwards like Julie Andrews lol
This one sucks compared to the first one , sorry... But I do love your guyses music!
I don't like how quiet it is, it seems like they don't care
