Tell them to throw a few bales of barley (it has to be barley) straw in the pond - it'll clear up the algae. No need to break them open.
ETA Now it's all redone, the owner needs to fence most of it off, leaving one or two areas of bank for the cattle to access the water. If not, they'll soon have all those edges broken down again...

ANOTHER EXCELLENT Job there Chris...!!! ✅🥇🏆🏅
I am sure when the farmer that wanted this done, after explaining to you how he thought,
Hoped it would look had no idea when you two walked off after the talk that he wouldn’t have thought it would look anywhere as N1CE as you had an idea in your mind to make it look 👀 you just have to Beale to “Visualize” it how it can Be. 😎👍. BTW, I kept looking for that monster Snapping turtle 🐢 at about 18:30 but never did see him again... did you ever see him anymore after that first day 🤷🏻‍♂️.??

You definitely have better luck than me. I watched that big chunk of clay rolling down the hill for the fence. If it would have been me it would have rolled right over a fence post and pulled about fifty feet of wire and posts over. 🤣🤣
