You’ll never be short of work Chris. You do such a thorough job, no cutting corners, and you always leave a job knowing that the customer will be more than happy with the results. You’re a credit to your trade. 🇬🇧
Gonna be a good looking pond when done. Can see your vision already. That customer is a good one as he recognizes and appreciates good work like you do. Too many of them cannot see the vision and just want to cut corners for cheap. Love these ones who know what they want and want the best workmanship. You two make a good team for these projects.
Wow, stellar drone footage at the end Chris. That put a way better perspective on it all. I wonder if we'll see you come back to do some maintenance on this pond when that oak tree is fully grown?
I particularly enjoyed the overhead shot where you can see the track marks from the 220 in the water where you drove out to the island. From ground level, when you were clearing it didn’t look like it had sunk in much.
The transformation is fantastic I remember when you walked along the dam and was surprised to see a pasture hidden in the back now it's totally accessible🙌
We should come back to this comment in 5 years and see if this is still relevant Who knows in 5 years Volvo AI might get trained from him and his videos
You would think that with all the heat the root mats would dry out and burn easily. But they have so much dirt in there they don't have a chance. You have made a big difference in the pond. Great job again Chris 👍.
It might displace him!! The machines will be unmanned and Chris will be sitting in his LaZ-Boy chair running everything remotely!! 😂😂. Dogs all sitting around with him while he “works”!!
Heat from the fire creates it's own wind vorticy's that mix with the atmospheric wind in the area making the wind around the fire unpredicable. Site is looking very nice now Chris.
Got it looking Awesome Chris !! what a difference already. Really going to change it once ya get to digging the pond out !! I bet you did have a hell of a walk or 2 there !! lololol... Great as always, Have a great Evening, And, On too the Next !!
This has been a fun project to watch. Your skills and abilities shine, you do such quality work, that it doesn't surprise me people keep rehiring you. Thank you for sharing with us all. I look forward to each video you share with us.
That's a big big difference. Opens everything up. Looks really good. The fires were good. The owner is going to be happy with that. Looking forward to next part of this video. It's going to be interesting. You never let us down. 👍👍🙂🇨🇦🔥🔥🔥
That is going to be a beautiful place when you are done It’s already beautiful now I’d love to have a house sitting back there overlooking the pond Dirt perfect doesn’t have nothing on a fellow North Carolina guy 😂😂
Same thought here. Wanted to put a link to what I call the '"campfire effect" basically blocking the air flow some what which makes swirls of air that suck back toward you, bringing the hated smoke right back to you!
Fire requires three components there sir. Those piles don't have a air inlet at the bottom and the piling continuously just denies the air more. Try digging a little trench under where you plan to burn and air flow will be more consistent. That will lead to less time spent picking n restacking.
One reason why the green stuff burns better is because of sap. Some plants and trees have very flammable sap when they are green and alive. For example, Scotch Broom is a very flammable brush. Here in California we have creeks that a lined for miles with this plant and it's removed for fire prevention. Some of the trees or bushes you are clearing may be in the same family of very flammable saps.
A great Work, the Burnheap New to in Flame! The You have the great Tree trunk and Stump. The little Branch all to burning. This great must have Oxygen to6 new burn.. Then the Drohne Picture from the Pond. To see, the Pond have a other Look, to your first new building Work. Gladd my of6 the next Stepp from the new Formation.
i know a farmer that put a WW2 Plane propeller onto the shaft of a PTO powered table saw - then he can use his tractor for insane leaf blowing and airing fires /make the ashes the problem of the next county
Have you've ever tried a different bucket ?, like one with openings threw it and allot wider., I think it'll help in getting rid allot of your dirt. Just a thought
Chris, I know you don’t normally get time to answer questions but I was wondering if the fires affect the hoses on the equipment or are they rated for high temperature?
You’ll never be short of work Chris. You do such a thorough job, no cutting corners, and you always leave a job knowing that the customer will be more than happy with the results. You’re a credit to your trade. 🇬🇧
Another quality project courtesy of Letsdig18. Single handedly improving North Carolina.

Customer has his own personal Landscaping crew!!!! Never cease to amaze me the work you do Chris!!
The final vista of the pond and field is great - makes all clearing, burning, ashes, restacking etc all worth it.
The transformation is fantastic I remember when you walked along the dam and was surprised to see a pasture hidden in the back now it's totally accessible🙌
No AI is ever going to replace letsdig18.
We should come back to this comment in 5 years and see if this is still relevant
Who knows in 5 years Volvo AI might get trained from him and his videos
Maybe not him. But they can replace operators for heavy equipment.
At the very least Volvo and other Manufacturers may have operators sitting in pods running everything remotely like our drones that kill terrorists!
Man that looks so much better already. Cant wait to see it dug out though. Thanks Chris.
Going to have to dig a big hole for all those ashes 😊
An amazing job Chris! Can’t wait until you get opportunity to expand pond and sculpt the finished product. Keep them coming Brother!👍👊👋
It's nice to see a piece of land being left in agriculture instead of housing development 👍
Great job clearing that pond site! Look forward to your next phase on this pond. Best wishes.
You would think that with all the heat the root mats would dry out and burn easily. But they have so much dirt in there they don't have a chance. You have made a big difference in the pond. Great job again Chris 👍.
He loves a good burn pile 😂 always goes in depth with his projects. Well done Chris
The pond is defiantly a unique shape, looks so much better alr cant wait to see what is done next to make it bigger
Hi Chris wife and I think the pond looks great we can’t wait to see what you do to this amazing looking pond when it’s completed
Hey Chris, how about a video on equipment maintenance?!
Owner must have some deep pockets. Seams to own some nice properties!
Already looks 💯 percent better.
Glad to keep you company out there, that is a big undertaking on that property, thanks for the videos
That vista shot looked like idyllic American countryside.
love watching you work, thanks for sharing Chris..
Another great project in the books . On to the next one
It might displace him!! The machines will be unmanned and Chris will be sitting in his LaZ-Boy chair running everything remotely!! 😂😂. Dogs all sitting around with him while he “works”!!
Another excellent job done Chris 🥇😎
Good job Chris
Job well done 👍🏻
Looking great. It always comes together for you.
Helluva job Chris, the transformation on these overgrown ponds is huge, thanks for sharing an I look forward to seeing the next video 🌲🇺🇲👌✊🤙💪
Nice to see all the stuff gone can't wait for the next job😊
Looks great…! And I like your idea about the lone oak tree becoming a feature on the new peninsula…, pond expansion.
Have a great weekend Chris! How's your cabin coming along?
Take care and God Bless!!!❤😊
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO CHRIS 😊
Heat from the fire creates it's own wind vorticy's that mix with the atmospheric wind in the area making the wind around the fire unpredicable. Site is looking very nice now Chris.

This is gonna look good
Cool ending. Thank you and have a great day.
Looks really nice Chris that was a lot of brush to clear.

Area looks alot tidier bro. Great video too. Safe travels. Ken.
Coming along very nicely!
Thanks for sharing 🇨🇦
Cool, looks great, owner of these projects must have a lot of things going on to pay for it
This has been a fun project to watch. Your skills and abilities shine, you do such quality work, that it doesn't surprise me people keep rehiring you. Thank you for sharing with us all. I look forward to each video you share with us.
Wow what a difference beautiful land 😊😊😊
Great job, Chris! Looking really nice! Thumbs up! Jim
Looks great
Really pretty site. Love drone views. ❤❤❤❤
Hope to see the pond finished, great job on video 😊😊
Good looking project!
Looks good!! Great video!!
Don’t forget how much air the machine is moving with the blower for the radiator and hydraulic cooler. That’s why it follows you around! LOL
That looks great . Thanks
Helluva multi-day job.
Nice job Chris
Great job great video thanks Chris
That's a big big difference. Opens everything up. Looks really good. The fires were good. The owner is going to be happy with that. Looking forward to next part of this video. It's going to be interesting. You never let us down. 👍👍🙂🇨🇦🔥🔥🔥
Another great video, thanks!
Good Sunday morning everyone I hope you all enjoy your Sunday morning ❤❤❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
As far as the ash blowing all over the place... you should read about Bernoulli's principle. Not quite as bad as Murphy's Law!
The wind always blows the smoke in my wife's face.
That is going to be a beautiful place when you are done
It’s already beautiful now I’d love to have a house sitting back there overlooking the pond
Dirt perfect doesn’t have nothing on a fellow North Carolina guy 😂😂
Ya need a left handed smoke shifter!😊😊
Nice video Chris.
Some trees have oils and excellerants naturally found in leaves and bark. Others less so.
Lopping off the corner of the peninsula would make it easier to dress back closer to the spring you ditched. I like the idea.
Won't take long Chris. Take them out into the pond n lift each side n run the track.
Fires are like that when you are too close to them the smoke comes at you its physics.you can Google it.
Same thought here. Wanted to put a link to what I call the '"campfire effect" basically blocking the air flow some what which makes swirls of air that suck back toward you, bringing the hated smoke right back to you!

The wind always has a plan. And you are its focus. lol
looking forward too phase 2
👍
Not making enough sacrifices to the wind gods.
LetsBurn18!
You still have the 330 there for a car wash on the other equipment, so dust and ashes are no issue.
Chris, you need an E-bike to go back and forth to get equipment on site.
👍👍👍
good video
Sometimes green stuff burns better due to the oils in the material

🤠
❤❤
🇨🇦Have you ever gotten emissions codes while operating through smoke?🇨🇦
Don’t cut out the island… use the material from the head section and connect the island to the bank.
🙂
Chris smoke follows good looks so that's the old saying Lol 23:06
i know a farmer that put a WW2 Plane propeller onto the shaft of a PTO powered table saw - then he can use his tractor for insane leaf blowing and airing fires /make the ashes the problem of the next county
The dirt of rat-trap island will not go to waste :-)
How often do you change your air filters Chris 😂
Have you've ever tried a different bucket ?, like one with openings threw it and allot wider., I think it'll help in getting rid allot of your dirt.
Just a thought
Like on your dozer, but put that in front of your Thumb
Can we see that big pond u built see if it's full an update the one with the island
The reason for the wind blowing all directions is because of the lay of the land and where all of the trees are at😢
Chris, I know you don’t normally get time to answer questions but I was wondering if the fires affect the hoses on the equipment or are they rated for high temperature?
It does look better and that is a cheaper way to get five acres then buy it.
Smoke follows beauty Chris!!!!!😂😂😂😂 That’s what I’ve been told!! ❤❤❤❤❤😂😂😂
Good morning my friend 🌞❤🌟✨🔥💥😍💯
