      @@roseecamille8589 It’s funny how the grass is always greener on the other side. I’ve been single my entire 20s just turned 30 this year and guess what I wished I would’ve balanced my career, Uni and dating in once. Dating in your 30s is rough. I did my growth and I’m far from being indecisive or immature as I was in my 20s I’m really in peace with myself. Thanks to the years I spend learning myself BUT It’s Like you missed the last bus 😅 I don’t have any problems with dating divorced men sometimes it’s a plus But it’s definitely not ideal either. Most people been in relationships for ages . And there comes me and the others out there in our 30s and every seat is almost occupied. 🤷🏿‍♀️
      I’d say find the balance in between when it comes to dating! Especially since it isn’t ideal to give birth in your 30s looking back I wished I had the opportunity to be a younger mom. Not just for my health and chances of getting pregnant but also for my kids. Imo kids shouldn’t be worried about their mother dying when they’re only 10.. I realized I won’t be able to spend much time with my kids. Once upon a time I wanted to have 3 kids.. I can be glad if I even get one 😅

      She said in her last video before this one that she had hip filler injections. So it would have disappeared after a while unless you keep doing it. So the curvy hips wasn’t natural either and her natural hips was straight and not curvy. That’s why she got this done for a permanent result.

      Unfortunately, everyone is influenced by the world. If this weren't true, those people from church wouldn't have lace fronts, fancy cars, wear makeup or get their teeth and bodies done. The only difference is that they are reading the bible and not telling yall about it. They do this so that they look "acceptable" for the world. Sophia appears to be a good person who prays and is in her word. And I'm sure the god she prays to is just fine with her decision. People shouldn't judge others for what they do. It's on the individual to live their life to the best of their ability and be the best person they can be. Everyone grows and changes. You aren't the same person you were 5 or 10 years ago. She's changing, and that is okay.

    • @xavisxw
      @xavisxw 9 місяців тому +62

      I hear you, I hear your intentions, I agree shes always been beautiful. The compassionate thing to do was to make this statement outside of her platform. Honesty without compassion is cruelty. Once someone makes a decision as big as this one there is no going back. Pitying their state of mind wont change it either. She’s a person like all of us and whether she got it or not does not change the fact that she like all of us is battling the same pressures.
      This one creator is not the first or last to make this decision, and gives us reason to challenge the aesthetic pressure that women face.
      To be more body positive.
      It’s a bit inconsiderate to have this conversation in her video comments though since this is her new journey esp when she says she reads them.

    As a Christian, be wary of the “do what makes you happy” comments. Happiness is not a fruit of the spirit. Happiness is fleeting. I think you looked amazing before and I can’t wait to see your final results. The surgery is already done lol. I can also understand why you made the choice. You were always posting your weight loss journey and then you decided to just take a different route. If I had the money, if many of us had the money, we would do the same. Literally going through the same thing… I’m on day 5 and I only did it for the hips! And I’m lowkey struggling psychologically 🥺 also not telling many people, and constantly wondering what the heck I’ve done and questioning my decisions 😅 I was super conservative with my lipo (I did arms and upper abdomen only), and my butt is still kinda flat 😭 I wanted very natural results and I believe that will be the case, but going through all this pain and confusion makes me wonder if “subtle” results were worth all of this 😩 but I wish you the best on your healing journey and I’ll definitely be keeping up with it because this was comforting to watch! 💕

    I think the only thing I really didn't appreciate was the comment about your dad. Yes, you're an adult but I feel you should know better than addressing your dad in that manner on social media because it's this same social media that never forgets. My dad and I are very playful. We joke around all day. He said what he said and It didn’t bother me on a literal level.. I was making gist of the timeliness of *when* he said it. Like pops, at least let me heal before we start joking around.
      I see a lot of comments about my dad & I think it was taken out of context. Especially because people don’t know my family dynamics. He’s not a typical or traditional authoritarian Nigerian dad. He’s always been playful & jovial with his children. I wouldn’t include it if I found it to be harmful. & I also don’t believe I’ve disrespected him.
      One thing I can agree with you on is being careful about how I share my family on social media. It’s been a while since I’ve shown my parents and I’ll be mindful of that.

    Idk I’m a little disappointed. I’ve been keeping up with Sophia since she first started on UA-cam and every situation (life updates and journeys) she’s gone through I’ve related to all of them and admired how she’d push through all of those obstacles and come out on top. But I feel like lately the content being given is just the media starting to catch up because before she used to preach about self love and not changing yourself the way of how society wants you to but I feel as though lately she has been doing what she said not to. I’m all about everyone doing what they want with themselves it’s no one else’s choice on what you do with your body but it’s barely any influencers out there who are authentic and pure anymore and I feel like Sophia was closest thing to that and realism. So I’m not really enjoying the altering Sophia because it’s looking like the world is catching up to her and she starting to be just like everyone else even verbally starting to sound like everyone else too
