Man this is why I love watching these kind of videos. People are actually buying vintage men's DRAWERS 😳😳🤯🤯
I NEVER WOULD'VE BELIEVED IT
Oh yea bro, thats all I wear. A lot of wisdom in them!
Are those underwear NEW 😱
@@heyjoeybada 😂😂😂😂
I thought the same thing ..but they look new..I knew women like vintage undergarments.. vintage items from the 20s-60s....but I didn't think men did?? They aren't even that vintage 🤔
I'm not wearing another man underwear. Not even to resell. I would feel like a creep
You should lock your filter on sold/comp. Saves you some time looking things up. When you looked up a item and you click on filter you can scroll all the way down to the bottom where it says "Customize" and you can turn on "Expand all filters" and "Lockable Filters" after that , when you go back one screen, every filter you select will have an "lock" icon in front of it and you can lock the filters you want. Maybe you already knew, but i know that many people don't know about it ! Great video and information btw ! OK never mind, i overlooked that you have the locks in place but maybe someone else didn't know :)
Thanks!!! This will save me a lot of time.
Well snap
@@lesdale4361 your welcome. I didn't know about it for a while. I would always see that people with android phones had a lock and i couldn't find it on the iPhone app, so i had to do some research and i found that many iPhone users didn't know about it. It is without a doubt a time saver.
I did not know this! Thanks for the hint. 😋🤗
Wow! Thanks!!
30 secs in and we are already picking up vintage tighty whities? It's gonna be a good day.
🤣
When I thrift; while deciding to buy or pass up; I stick the item in my cart. Keep other shoppers from grabbing it while I decide.
So you’re THOSE type of shoppers huh
Me too! If something is interesting I put it in the cart when my car is full I sit in one of their chairs and go through it. Just seems easier and faster
I do too!😂
I do the exact same thing. I take my cart to the couches and chairs and sort through my keepers and go backs. I put those back in the proper places to keep mmy relationship with the employees friendly.
Lol. It’s happened to me . While I’m standing there contemplating, someone comes by and it’s gone. Good tip: put in cart-think later
I love when these videos come out. Value. I learn something every time!
Your UA-cam name is confusing
@@Justsayinbruh yea I change it all the time. It will be something different probably by tomorrow!
@@howevercomma9064 no worries. Just thought I'd let you know, then again this is only coming from one person. Have a Merry Christmas to you and your family
@@Justsayinbruh to you as well
Your videos have been both informative and inspiring. I’ve found a good number of great finds just because of your examples of things to watch for. Not that I find those exact things, but take the time to look things up and keep adding to my experience. Thank you for sharing.
Had no idea about vintage weights! Always learn something from you. Thank you
Hi Matt! I always look forward to watching your videos. You find a wide variety of interesting things to purchase all the time.
Matt, thank you for the video. I am striving to improve my items I sell. I find it is so easy to get stuff that sells cheap. Ugh. Keeping improving everyday.
Thanks for sharing and caring! Stay Safe! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
I like your video style. Concise and informative. Glad to have found your channel!
I haven’t watched you vids in awhile and I have to say they are really getting better, not as long and I love the rundown at the end, great job and great tips!
Thank you bringing us along... always informative and enjoyable.
I found your channel a couple of weeks ago. I'm glad I did. I'm enjoying your buying routines. You know your stuff or at least know where to find info. You seem to do really well. Thanks for giving us some interesting videos!
Wow, you have great thrift stores where you live, no finds like that in a single trip here in the twin cities, thanks for posting!
Matt, I don’t usually comment but have been watching a long time. You do a fantastic job of cutting out the b. s. and presenting your finds in a clear straight forward way. Thank You. I’ve been doing this a while as well and I still learn from great vids like yours. I hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas. And 2021 is healthy and profitable for you all.
Thanks so much Corky 🤙 Merry Christmas 🎄
Clean corrosion with vinegar. Worked in battery manufacturing before “mom life”
Does it matter what kind of vinegar?
I have a bottle of Apple Cider Vinegar on hand.
@@WMsandKFCisBackMOFOs I don’t think so, both have about the same amount of acetic acid. We would just put some on a q-tip and clean off the contacts. Basically enough to do the job without excess dripping all over the place.
@@candyc6487 ok. Thank you for the tip. I've got a couple of sony hand-held electronics that I have listed for "parts only". There was acid rust in the battery Compartments. I didn't know what to use. Tried alcohol, but nadda. I'll try the vinegar treatment now and see what happens!
The best way is cleaning with 70% or 90% alcohol and a q-tip. That's how I clean my old vintage Gameboy consoles.
Thanks for the tip! That was gonna be my question 😊
I really enjoy you showing what you list the items for and potential earnings vs what you paid! Thank you, always a lot to learn watching your videos.
Great finds! I never go to savers too far in HB, goodwills a block or 2 away from me got to take gas in mind as well.
Spectacular haul Matt! Thanks for sharing.
Sweet. Merry Christmas
Thanks for what you share!! Merry Christmas!!
Thanks Matt, always fun thrifting with you 👍
Love the format of your videos, where you show the listings at the end. Subscribed
That Sweet Secrets is awesome! So glad you grabbed it, those are very sought after by collectors (like me, wish I had found it)!
Wow Savers for the win today Matt! And more tighty whities! Have a great week 💃
great content... from beginning to end. Happy New Year!
Happy Holidays Matt. Great video.......Blessings
Hi Matt, Great finds. Hope you & your family have a Merry Christmas 🌲 Stay safe 😷 & ✌
Bose remotes!! What an awesome find!! :)
Been watching your channel for a long time because my husband is subscribed. Decided to subscribe and enjoy the videos anytime I want. Love your channel!
As always, amazing finds. Love your videos. Great money on the vintage mens underwear.
Couldnt imagine those briefs are sellable unreal
Yeah you just got to get a big smell put them right up to your face right on your nose and if there's no stains your good to go
wow, I didn't even know I could scan things, I should probably upgrade my phone XD, I feel like this got recommended after watching a lot of Daily refinements stuff ( I'm a small Ebay store holder in Australia)
Great finds!
Good finds. Glad to see you thrifting & finding.. Sell well..
That's my favorite Savers store. You can go there 3 times in a single day and see different merchandise on the shelves each time.
Excellent scoops!
People like you sir make me a proud man keep buying that stuff
First time viewer. Found you off of Thrift Trader's list of channels. I love that you show what things sell for at the end. Subscribed!
First time viewer too! Never would have believed people buy vintage underwear
@@texasgina Seriously! Me neither! There are a lot of things that he says sells well that I'm like...really? Never, in a million years, would I have ever thought to buy that. LOL!
Some questions: How do you tell if underwear is vintage? How do you scan items? What things would you recommend buying for someone starting to sell on eBay?
Underwear is usually vintage if there’s hashish stains or pecker tracks embedded.
@@SydneyGreenstreet1227 sure 😂
Mervyns went out of business probably more than 10 years ago.
@@amybarker2385I truly love that store
Merry christmas!!
You are such a great picker! Thanks for the videos.
Another great video! I'm not sure, but I have problems with my phone in some stores also and wonder if stores can block or slow down the connection so that it deters you from looking stuff up.
I’m not a huge fan of savers either but lately I have gotten some good stuff. I got some brand new ski bindings for 6 bucks and sold for 250 in just a few days! If you donate something before you got in, you get a 20% off coupon.
That’s a Fisher Price Great Adventures Castle on the top shelf behind you when you’re looking at the Sweet Secrets set. That’s another good pickup.
Savers in Hawaii was awesome. I bought all my clothes there when I lived there. But I was only looking for clothes, not resellable treasures.
Hey! New sub. Just wanted to let you know I found you through CP, John. Love the way you show the listing at the end.
Love the music/freeze frames!
I wish you could do a post with quick updates of spent listed and SOLD from each video you upload. A nice recap. Awesome hustle 👍🏼
I loved those Sweet Secret toys as a kid! New in box, wow!
Just wow! Love your videos!
What a nice score on those bose remotes - they always sell.
Hi, there was a green Igloo cool box behind the printers 👍👍
Mervyns! That’s a blast from the past!😱
Very useful, thanks!
Love these vids!
First time subscriber enjoyed your video
Thank you I learned quite a bit and it wasn’t an hour long which I’m very grateful for as I have a terrible’s attention span
Cool! Thank you for your Video!
You should’ve checked the Revereware pans!
I managed a Savers for 13 years. Get to know the Rollers. Fresh items are towards the front of each rack of each section towards the main isles. Ask what the fresh color is and save yourself time. You can get through the store faster. I used to tell my resellers this to save them time. My rollers were good to the resellers as they came in so much. Bag walls are gems. Bed and bath gets under priced a lot. Check there for missed items. That includes wallets and small purses.
It is so cool that you pick kids toys.
Matt, I have started to have the same issue at 1 of my Value Villages that I never had before honestly I can barely pull a signal anywhere to comp and I suspect they are starting to put WiFi Signal jammers in their stores or doing something to distort the signal. As they are an Anti Reseller Company even though it is us resellers that gave them the profits to grow as they did; at least out in my neck of the woods. But so glad you got some high profit items they missed to resell boy do I love it when something expensive slips through their pricing team and into your cart 🤣👍
Great job! I have two NIB phones to list.
make sure to check the back of the castle for the little people, there should be a little compartment that holds them. Sells for more with them.
The Thomas the Train listing comp for $16.99 was my listing. It was new but the packaging was ripped on the top so I mentioned it, took pictures and actually listed it as used and the person returned it as "item not as listed". Anyway, I feel like I made the big time. One of my listings is in your video. Lol
Good info
Hi Matt great vids keep up the good work and ps do you watch shed flips
Lonnie is great. I’ve been watching him for years
they got the ebay jamming blocker antennae in there lol
Fun job !
I love to go to these stores always found kool stuffs .... Texas has good stuffs ..
Found a Korg keyboard at the goodwill in Hayward right off Hesperian today!
I go to that Savers all the time. I swear they put cell phone signal blockers in their store lol i think it's cause they don't want folks to look up pricing lol Secondly they are getting out of hand with their prices. 😮🤷♀️🤦♀️ Glad you were able to find some deals 👏
Uncanny how much a savers in cali looks like a value village in Ontario Canada. I know they're the same but still
Always learn something new from the videos
Thanks
My first time here. Great finds. What scanner app are you using?
what scanning app are you using. Love the videos thanks Matt
Really interesting thank you.
Thanks for watching!
Love savers soooo much! ( : Nice...you did great! ( :
Yessssss!! Tidy whities! ( :
Poly pocket magic kingdom too?!
Amazing finds. How do you identify vintage underwear? The Mervyn’s I know, but not the others. Thank you for sharing.
Great haul. N
I met a guy at goodwill the other day he too was a reseller and his name was Matt like part time picker, I noticed he kept looking at me earlier I asked him whats up he was checking out my under wear
Lol wah
WTF
Can you tell me what scanner you use? Also where do u go to see the value on all this good stuff? Thanks. I sell on Mercari so would like to learn more. Love your channel!
Whoa, I go to that Savers all the time.
I really enjoy your videos!! I notice you pick up a lot of plush, what is the best way to ship it? Thanks!!
It’s weird but service gets better in the back corner of the store where the lamps are. Would always have to take things back there for phone to work for me
I love that Savers! But the pricing is usually all over the place.
Anytime you find Bose in the wild makes for a good day
Your vids are cool and informative
New subbie
Thanks for the sub 🤙
What scanning app are you using to do your research? Very interesting I’m new to eBay selling. Just sold almost all of my old construction gear (tools, used clothing, etc). Also my comic book collection and other miscellaneous items. Great way to downsize and make some money. Thanks for sharing this video
That Sweet Secrets would have been in the personal stash, as I had those as a little one and in box from 1985 is INSANE!!!
🤙🤙
could you do a video of what sold👀 :) and a lot of videos say to use fee shipping to sell faster, how long does it take you to sell with “buyer pays shipping”?
( Maybe these are answered in your other videos I am going to look)
I love Savers in Murietta, CA
First time watching your video. Thanks for sharing. Vintage mens undies is definitely something I would NEVER have considered flipping. My question....how do you ship the large or heavy items like the playhouse thing and the weights. I shy away from those things.
The weights can fit in a padded flat rate envelope. The doll house can fit in a usps #7 box. You’re not alone, I also shy away from bulky items a lot of the times.
Nothing like whispering "sweet secrets" to yourself in the middle of a thrift store lololll
hahaha
You’ve probably covered this before, but what do I download to scan barcodes? Thanks
Enjoyed
We're going into lockdown here on Saturday. The death pile gas never looked so good 🤷♂️
