We only have one thrift store in my city. Wish I had as many options as you.
Need to look at your local newspaper for yard sales and estate sales. More and better items.
Us californians are spoiled but east coast has all the bins and amazon overstock stores!

Great channel !! , I moved to the Czech Republic 3 years ago . Out here we have bazars , basically car boot sales . I am always hunting through for the old communists era lights , lamps etc . I also visit the local recycle centre , I have had some great items from there .
Always good go expand. Exploring pottery, china, crystal great returns. That's true sometimes nothing sings to you. Tomorrow is another opportunity. Thanks for sharing. 🐾🐺👍
Cups and saucers are usually worth looking up. I’m always on the lookout for stuff made in England - they can go for good profit a lot of the time.

The Saint Vinnies here isn't usually cheap either but yes, they do have a steady rotation of flippable product . Best thing is they test the electronics so there are no surprises.

You need to know when you search,sold & completed it will show auctions items that never sold, and show that it did just because it ended , you have to search only (completed) try to search completed only , it’s 2 individual search options, try to just search completed not sold.

The prices in thrift stores in Australia are just huge now, because they look up everything on eBay before they even price it, some stuff they price you can actually get it cheaper in a retail store new, or even if the tag is still on it they double the tag price. Refuse to go I to the big named thrift stores and only shop at church op shops and I usually go 1/2 price day

Hi, it is like being self employed. PayPal or ebay will send you a 1099. Then meet with a good local CPA to file your taxes. The CPA I use charges me $150 to file. Which is about lowest price.

Matt, for antiques don't use a background removing tool like photoroom. The pic you used ate most the the edges. Plus folks who buy vintage tend to want to see the area around the image.
Also try looking up the pattern on Replacements.com. I've never sold to them (would be nice to see someone experience them buying their stuff.) but I definitely use them to add word value to my listings. BTW I believe your pattern is "LEP4". Not fancy, but it's an identifier. (Vintage hard goods are definitely longtail but they do sell.)

Nice video matt! Honestly today was insane for me. I Couldn’t believe i found a ps1 on the shelf at goodwill today (no cords) and on the inside was the copy of “Legends of Dragoon”. Snagged it for $8.99. Tested it at home and it works!

With software always look at the date of manufacture, and system requirements. If it's compatible with XP or 2000 and not later, then leave it. You're in California? Kind of rough trying to find anything open. You have a lot of time on your hands :)

I’ve been a reseller on ebay for over 20 years,just wondering how you have time to do your ebay business and do all the filming and editing,that has to be over 40 hours of work a week??
With covid I average about 2 hours of eBay and one hour of YT work a day. Before covid wen the kids were in school I’d do 4-8 hours a day.

How do you check to see if shirts or hats or shoes sell for a good price on Ebay. I'm new to ebay not sure how to look them up to see if they are valuable I know you can scan a barcode but not everything has one. So how do you find out if they are valuable if they don't have one?
Get the eBay app. You can search and scan items. Then filter to sold

I was dubious about the Leigh china. If I wonder and I don't see it selling on ebay, I'll look at Replacements.com. If they have it in stock, I figure if I can get half of what they are asking at their retail price, it's worth picking up.
