Sir 06:33 par jo aapne bataya hai, like above 300mm to 1.5m depth excavation mein 300mm extra from outer surface of items each side humlog bill mein claim kar sakte hai usme aur (as per is1200 part 1 clause no:-4.8.2 for exceeding 1 m depth, an allowance 50mm per meter depth each side of trench shall be added to the specific width) dono mein difference hai.
as a fresher billing engineer hume kis baat ko consider kar ke chalna hai aur interview mein kaunsa wala answer dena hai.

Hi Sir , Can you coat where it has written in DSR Specification that if excavation depth is more than 1.5 meter than we can add 750 mm both side of footing.

Please provide cpwd specifications where it is mentioned.because I have searched in IS-12000 part(I) and sp-27. But ther is no such working space offset is mentioned.

he gave only cpwd reference 300mm and 750mm working space , whereas in IS1200 600mm working space is allowed. unfortunately IS1200 is silent on varying depth
Sir in pipe excavation you said 125 mm on both sides but that working space is not sufficient for person to move freely .

Then how to measurements take for extra depth, from bottom or top ?
Karan saroj ji if the depth is more than 300mm then it will not be surface excavation it will go to rough excavation

Excavation in under water or foul conditions not explained, also what about earth filling works

First you have to read BOQ item Nomenclature, if there size of excavation not consider than you go with IS 1200 as explained in this video

This is only for billing guidelines, mean booking of dimensions, not for execution, if you want to know about the safety guidelines in details please follow IS 3764
Factual Civil Engineering In cpwd dsr there is an item 2.24.2 about excavation in foul position would you explain it's mode of measurements
It is a special case, this excavation conditions are not due to yhe negligence of contractor as seepage case, i will recommend you read the CPWD Spec. Vol. 1 - Page No. 45, Clause no. 2.21.3, where you get the complete mode of measurement and conditions for foul position earth works. Thank you.
