What I love about the fantano review of inlet is that the top comment is Matt Talbots son asking him to be nice because his dad worked very hard on it 😂
Thank you sooooo much for this! HUM is one of my top 5 favorite bands and you probably have no idea how much you made me so happy to watch this 😭💕 and you are just simply amazing and so, so so great at making videos like this 👏🏻 I love how you edit your video and your voice so much ❤️❤️❤️ Btw, I am NOT sick of you talking about Failure, NEVER! 😍lol
Hmmm i really like that outer spacey sound that they have. Something kinda heavy, but beautiful at the same time. There's something about their melodies that i really like. Like the song "If you are to bloom" and "I hate it too". How do they find that sound? That's what i want my guitar style to sound like. Slightly heavy, grungey, yet beautiful outer space melody at thr same time. As well as the vocals, never over the top or awkward. Just chill and emotional while sounding kinda...i dont know but the vocals are perfect. But thank you for introducing me to other bands with that similar sound. I wanna craft my guitar style and song style to be similar to hum and one other band, for that heavy yet melodic sound. Oh, and this band is severely underrated.
even though downward album wasnt as solid as you'd prefer an astronaut.. i think Apollo is a crazy amazing song... first time i heard apollo it was the same emotional reaction as when you hear jeff buckleys song "grace" for the first time. instant tears streaming down my cheeks.. gotta love music like that too!!
Green to Me could actually be considered a parallel to The Pod if you read the lyrics. Maybe the "Stars-like" sound was intentional, nonetheless they nailed it.

hum and failure are one of the most underrated bands of all time
You’re damn right
also swervedriver
Today Bryan St. Pere has sadly passed away, his legacy will carry on
There's acoustic guitar at the end of The Pod too!! Not just If You Are To Bloom
You’d Prefer An Astronaut is by far their best imo. Love everything they’ve done though, great video!
@sammo i love your pfp what an underappreciated album
WuK hell yeah, absolutely one of their best records. Applesauce and Amanita are both top tier AnCo songs. I love every AnCo album in its own way.
@@sammo2560 i got it on vinyl recently its awesome
Not by far, downward is equal to me
DiH is their best imo
Nice video! I wish more people were aware of this channel.
Thank you sooooo much for this!

Big ups on the Love Cup and Nemo appreciation
More bands everyone should check out that are more Champaign Urbana adjacent:
Castor
C-Clamp
Scurvine
Centaur
Glifted
The Love Cup vs Hum shows at Trito's were some of the best music ever seen in CU. So much fun!
Great video!

Great video. And thanks for the tips on the other bands, Lovecup and Nemo. I"ll check'em out.
I loved this video. I think inlet is their best album. Its in my top 10 favorites
Can you do a video on Swervedriver? I feel like you would really like them
Suicide machine, Little Dipper, and I hate it too are some of the best things they’ve ever created the lyrics for all these songs are remarkable!
Great video. Hum are awesome. Such a great band , as are Failure.

The Pod had acoustic guitar for the last 3rd of the song. You'd prefer an astronaut. you even featured it in your video.
Inlet is soooooo good.
I'm disappointed by no mention of their song Puppets!
Buen video!!!!!
I have Centaur also
5 out of 10??? What's wrong with that dude. Inlet is a masterpiece.
Loved this video though!
Me too but Inlet gets a 10 from me. All their albums do.
Filet Show is a goof on filatsio.
