The problem I have in Serum is that when I use FM, the pitch of the oscillators change... So its out of key with the rest of the track :( or is this just me? :p

well, not that uncommon. good sound anyway, but simplistic. You should try double FM more, with other wavetables. Also, sometimes I import vowely single cycle wt into noise so I can use the fm noise function.
