Tips to tweak this patch:
1. Put an LFO envelope on the reverb decay and mix and turn it from 0 to the half. Turn the size a little higher.
2. Use Diode 1 distx and turn the drive and the mix to 60%.
3. Change the oscilator A unison to 2.
4. Use "Basic Shapes" wavetable and change it to a square wave (or whatever you want).

I agree, I don't distrust that it should work, but for me it didn't. Idk why - tried from init like 3 times, still the same result. Tried upping the oscillator quality and unison range, but that didn't work. Appreciate your vids tho, don't tend to have this problem with your other stuff.

great sound. for all you peeps wanting to try it i'd recommend doing it a few octaves lower than standard (my keyboard settings are on -3 for octaves) and it works well. yet to try it in a track but i'll definitely use it

Um, I think you misunderstand gain on the compressor. It's gain POST compression and it turns red because it's hitting over 0db of COMPRESSOR's output (just like on DAW's mixer output - it's not clipping but shows it goes overboard). If you want to squash the sound, then use threshold.

could you a water drop tutorial? ive been looking and havent found one. i made a water drop using a slight attack with low decay, and sustain all the way down with a comb filter cutoff all the way down and a slightly morphed sine and slight reverb. im sure you could do better :) i need a sound like that

yo bro! thank you for the amazing tutorial! the sound is great! the only problem is that after the step of filtering the note does not correlate with the actual played piano keys. it seems to go 3 octaves and transpose 4 semitones higher- is there a way to solve this？will be great to hearing back from you. cheers

another interesting thing, as a baritone or other low brass player starts getting higher on the horn, the resonance goes away; if you use the note tracking window on serum to take away some of the elements that give it power as it goes to higher notes, then every note has a different sound and it starts to sound more natural as it goes through a progression.

Is it possible that you make a tutorial (or give me a link to a good tutorial ;) ) on that main lead of Dimitri Vegas & like mike "the Hum"? I think that is build with different layers but can't find any good tutorials an that special sound. Yeah its a mainstream supersaw lead but every time I want to recreate that it ends up with a really weird sounds that's not the one that I expected... :D
