Still blew my mind how this level have so many exits … I played with this level on Lunar Magic and when I look for exit on the pipe it always shows me one level and not the other ones… like how, I know some people already figured it out but as a kid, it blew my mind.
The two exits with the gate are not seperate exits on the title screen just a heads up, if you're going for all 96 exits you don't have to get the coin one.

What version of the game are you playing? I've been playing the U.S. version all my life, and I've only known about two paths. The first path you showed which you say does nothing has always brought me to *Chocolate Island 3* and the third path you showed has always brought me to *Chocolate Secret* (as you demonstrated). I've never done or known about the second path you showed that involved collecting all the coins as you said. I'm thinking you must have a different version. I've known PAL games to be a bit more difficult and occasionally have some extra secrets. To be honest, I'm also slightly suspecting that this video is phony. But only slightly. 😉 My *SNES* is packed away right now, so I can't go and myth bust. That was very interesting though.
Yeah, the person who created this video is confused. 2 of the exits unlock Chocolate Island 3, so they are effectively 1 exit (thus it doesn't matter which of these you use). The other is the secret exit which unlocks Chocolate Secret.

You dont need all the coins you just need 3 of the dragon coins I was ust replaying it now and it took me to the next nevel. Getting all the coins will get you to that special cape exit but that doesnt matter to get to the next level. Get 3 dragon coins and take easy exit to get to next level. If you need secret exit then just do before 250 seconds. Also I dont think this is the only way, I think its based on timing as well, thats what I figured out years ago, if you wait long enough to go through a tunnel, say less than 100 seconds before last one I think it will still take you to the next level but now Im not bothered to double check.
I didn't know there was a 3rd one (the coin specific one). I just knew about the ones going "fast" and "slow", although I didn't know the precise time clock requirements, just go real fast and then real slow. Thanks.

Ive only ever seen the one he played with the slanted hills and flying turtles or instead of that one with layers of levels and a bunch of dinosaurs (idk if thats what they actually are but thats what kid me named them so thats what they are)

The secret is time enter the pipe and not coins !!! 1 - Go for chocolate island 2 and second pipe green enter time BELLOW 250 (249,248...) finish normal. 2 - Go for chocolate island 2 again and second pipe green enter time ABOVE 250 (251,252...) you go for um secret screen ! SIMPLY THAT !!!

É FAKE o fato dele dizer que o level possui 3 SAIDAS. Pode-se dizer que o level tem mais de 3 caminhos distintos, mas NUNCA 3 saidas distintas, mas 2. Podem reparar que na primeira demonstração a chocolate island 3 já esta liberada, por isso o mario não saiu do lugar. Ja nas 2 ultimas demonstrações os caminhos ainda não haviam sido abertos.

It was way harder for me to unlock chocolate 3 than it was to find secret. I found secret first try, but couldnt get chocolate 3 for at least 15 lives

befor the second castle there's a access pipe to unlock ... check the ghost house to Star road 1 and do it no secret I think
