Checked the bird after first 20 minutes at 450. Sliced onions were burnt and the bottom of the bird was almost burnt so I moved the roasting pan to a rack on the first level of the oven. Put it back in at 450 for another 10 minutes and then lowered the temperature to 350 as instructed...
I agree. The editing made it difficult to follow. I was a little apprehensive about some of the steps quickly described particularly the instructions to put the turkey pan directly on the the oven after browning. Roasting the turkey now. I'll check back...
