Thanks fellow, I'll try to keep more regular with the posts! I had a little trip to Poland in October, then arrived home to freezing temperatures that have frozen my motivation a little. I work outdoors. . . Once I super Canada acclimatize to the season, I'll have my mojo back. I think that may be a good guess about the battle standard. I can't imagine what else it would be. Either that or it's the brutally morbid vengeance bat of the Emperor.
Hi Dimitri, this is where things get weird! There's a little shop in New Minas, Nova Scotia, called "Gametronics". Of all places on earth, this place is well stocked with Version 3 Flames of War stuff. Unfortunately, he doesn't have an online shop. The stuff is a bit on the pricey side, but probably less pricey than some of the madness on eBay. There was a following of people in the Anapolis Valley playing Flames of War, but when version 4 came out they all quit and Battlefront won't return old stock. @@BattleBrotherJimmy
Where did you hear that Battlefront would be rereleasing their Pacific line? It would be great, as I want to game the China theater, and as you said, their figures are well suited for it. I certainly don't want to pay what people have been asking for them on ebay. I know some of their figures are lacking in specialized equipment, but I can remedy that with green stuff and ocd. 😁 I don't always like Peter Pig's faces or poses, but I've never seen anyone else with his attention to detail as far individual equipment goes. I bought some of his WWI Austro-Hungarians to convert for another project, and the commander of the HMG crew even had the proper NCO knot on his bayonet!
@@daviessuperchannel I'm guessing a curse for your wallet, personally I have to spend way too much on postage and some of my regular sellers are increasing the prices of the minis very often lately while emptying their stocks.
Good review, I like the Peter Pig figures a lot but had never really looked at the Eureka ones, maybe I should. Cheers for the shout out as well!
Welcome back! It feels like a while! Good useful review. I wonder if the mystery 'baseball bat' is actually a battle standard, furled and in a cover.
