You don’t have to remove the ball joint. 10 year Honda tech here. We get those done in 30 minutes. Just unbolt axle nut and losses axle from knuckle. U can move
The whole knuckle out giving u plant of room. Just use a large prt bar so remove control arm from sub frame

I've done this job, it sucks. I don't care for that corny edit you did at the ball joint removal. That ball joint is very stuck in the knuckle, and there are 2 ways to get it out, 1 - pickle fork and ruin the boot, or 2 - separate the strut and axle from the hub and use a tie rod or ball joint separator to get the ball joint out. If someone watches this and thinks they can do the same as in the video, they may not have the tools to finish the job.

We always turn the ball joint so the hole in the stud runs front to back. That way you can get your cotter pin in and out easily and bend it.

Can this bushing job be done without removing the ball joint? The video clearly shows a new arm being re-installed.

Rename the video, it’s “rear” not front control arm
