We need Freight Corridors like this in America so Amtrak Trains won’t have to share track with slower freight trains
From what I know amtrak only owns 600 miles of tracks of the total 21000 miles it runs on.. So the companies which own the tracks prioritise their own freight trains over amtrak.. That's why amtrak is slow and expensive
That was never really a viable business case for passenger rail in the United States. Even if there is a remote possibility that that may change in the future, it is probably easier to build dedicated high-speed lines for passenger traffic while leading the existing rail infrastructure for freight.

The necessity for dedicated freight corridors arises only if the trunk lines are already clogged with thousands of daily passenger trains, as in India's case.
US also needs electrification of busiest freight routes and creation of transcontinental electric fast freight routes.

I think about 90 to 110 kmph
Highest allowed is 120 kmph .
But Avg is 90-110 kmph
Average is 80-100 but max is 110 or 120 i think
But usually most of then runs above 65
@@iamzeyrox01 Yours is the most accurate. The trains in this video are averaging between 65-85 kmph. Max Speed of some could be 90+ in this video. Highest average speed recorded is 99+ through the entire stretch
