I know this post probably will not reach John, but I have to write it in here. I was in my teen years (now I am 50+), living in one of the "post soviet republics" and I do not recall how I managed to hear on the radio "You Are the Voice" (English songs were prohibited). I just started to learn English so I did not understand a word. I could hum the melodie a bit, but starting to loose it. What I remember is that amazing voice but could not connect it to any of the singers I knew. I did not hear that song since until NOW. I did it by a chance by browsing a YT! I am so happy that I found you, John. I know it took me so long but it is never too late. Now I can learn more about you and your songs. Wish you all good....and thank you!
Bless you for finding the strength to Hear something different to obviously everybody else in&around You. You have helped me more than you can ever imagine ever as an Ozzy chick from down Australia that someone like You can be FREE in a country that is *doing it's best to STOP YOUR FREEDOM* &I can only imagine your struggle...I'm so greatful to hear your Voice so far away. God Bless You Sister Soul. XXXX
Just watched this in NZ last night. So incredibly moving and inspiring. Growing up in the 80’s I thought John just came onto the charts at that time - I had no idea the struggles he went through with trying to get his music recognised! I feel the industry needs a massive makeover - talent should always be nurtured, artists should always be given space to evolve through the different experiences and stages of their career with support - the best ones have always endured many changes. I saw John in Chch some years back and he was the standout of the concert - absolutely amazing vocals and stage presence. Sending you love, good health and much respect John - from a fellow singer and writer 💐✨💜☺️
What an inspirational story this is, a man with a golden voice and a man who believed in his talent and backed his judgement 💯% how lucky are we that this friendship built on trust and love came into existence and we got to be the fortunate generation to enjoy Johns talent, humour, Mike Stand antics and delightful, fun filled concerts with his fantastic band and singers. Love J.F. and much respect and love for G.W. for believing and bringing us “ The Voice”.
Thank you so very much for this - being one of John’s generation I absolutely adore this man, the best male voice we have ever heard - bar none. This show did John and Glen complete justice.
I saw you today on the news in a photo of your son’s wedding god bless you. So happy to see you after so long, thankyou for fighting I hope you are feeling much better.
His Doco is on Netflix. I cried & cried. Watched it again and cried again. John you ARE a Legend a bloody Aussie one mate. John my family have watched u since (sorry) Sadie and we met u at a pantomime u did at Parramatta League’s club “ puss n boots” my sister & I used to fight who got ur picture signed first and one day my mum said “ for goodness sake’s I got the bloody 6 of them done” lol. I still love “ one” and play it often. My fathers eyes welled up when u sung “help” the only time after that was when Balmain lost the grand final after being 12pnts ahead at half time. There’s 5 girls in our family and we have been to ur concerts and between us all have all your music. I cried when I saw u with Coldplay especially when u were singing and I felt u were soooo happy to see the younger generation singing with you. Dunno if u will ever see this but thank you for sharing ur voice with us. Jill & family thanks for sharing ur hubby & dad for many concerts…. Love from a true fan Jane……. I hope John you will just relax now and be that hubby & dad. Lots of love thoughts & prayers coming ur way. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🍻🥇🎬
Reminds me of growing up in the early 90s. Its Saturday family bbq, I'm trying to get out of eating Mums homemade beetroot on my plate. Dad having a long neck fosters with the Voice on the record player, loud enough the neighbours would pop over for a yarn. Looking forward to seeing this.
I can't wait to see this movie of our all time favourite, phenomenal singer and performer, John Farnham! John's amazing music continues to lift my spirits each and every day and has done so my whole life. I feel so grateful and privileged to have been lucky enough to have attended many of John's phenomenal concerts over the past 4 decades. Please get well soon John.💐 Sending all my love, light and well wishes. xo 🐝💗🤞🍀🙏🌈🎵🎶
From the UK. I bought my mum John with the MSO when I was 14. I'm 51 now. Still watch the DVD. As As a professional singer, I insist this man is the greatest live vocalist the world will ever witness. If I could do 50 per cent on stage he did, I would die a happy man. God bless you john. A unique talent.
We love you so much John. I remember saving my pocket money, all two schillings a week to buy my first album "ONE" with you and Allison Durban and then influencing my parents to get me a little box turntable. How times change. Be well beautiful soul 💕🕊💕
Dear John Farnham, You brighten my days. Doesn't matter what else is going on in my life, or in the world, or even if all is calm - every time I watch your show videos on UA-cam I go to a really happy and uplifted place, I seem to have acquired a UA-cam mix on my mobile phone of many of your videos (the only intruder I allow is John Parr's St. Elmo's Fire. Amazing piece of work). And in discovering all of your material I have also found other Aussie music - lucky me. Get well, stay well, live long, enjoy your family. E❤❤❤❤❤❤
Saw you at Bimbadgen, you blew everyone else out of the water. Just amazing. Loved as we were all leaving and everyone was singing "You're the voice". Then saw you at the Fire Fight concert. Again our brilliant super star Farnsie. Congratulations on this piece and also for inspiring Daryl to make a come back. Wishing you all the best with your health. Just heard your music is speeding up the charts. 🎉🎉🎉 Bloody brilliant. Australia loves you. No one comes close to you.
Hi, won't link them, but in an unrelated search, I just came across vids of the 1988 Brisbane World Expo concert. Noticed there not in the collection on this channel. 💕(2 strong hearts)
John Farnham’s voice, songs, concerts, personalitie and his loyalty to his family and friends is and will always be motivational to me. Get well please.
Seen this three times 🎭👏 Love 💕 💗 it!!! So happy 😊😁 to hear 🙉 that you're feeling better 🤗😊 and back 🔙☺️ home 🏡🏠 with your beautiful ❣️❤️ wife and family 💓
Lovesya John, i get to a happy place when i listen to you, i hope your getting better & better because we will it, not ready to concede so don't you either. 🙏
Amazing doco! John, you are the heart of Australia! You may have been born in the old country, but you are ours now. Condolences on your loss of Glenn - your friendship has to be the epitome of what Australia is about. We Aussies would do anything for our mates and Glenn laid his life on the line because he knew, without a doubt, that you would become an absolute icon in Aussie music! Glenn will be remembered always for his own career in MA and LRB, as well as being a master manager. Our hearts and souls are with you as you recover, and even if you will never sing live again, we will revere you as “The Voice” forever more. ❤❤
Happy Birthday to the GOAT, our phenomenal, Aussie Living Legend, John Farnham! 🥰❤💐 I hope you are feeling better and able to enjoy celebrating and being spoilt by your lovely family today. Thank you for all your amazing music, that continues to help lift my spirits every day. 🎶🎵 Sending all my love and well wishes. xoxo Deb🐝🌺
I was born in 1960 in Australia...but my parents chose not to have a TV in our house except for radios. So, most of my TV watching became something of a treat when visiting my grandparents place during annual Christmas school holidays. I think it was in 1979 when they eventually brought one which was because my father's father moved in due to his elderly age, plus my grandmother had passed away at that time. As you can see, I wasn't a child anymore myself but an older teenager now working. Over the years I had seen small snippets of John Farnham and heard him on the radio with hits like "Saide the cleaning Lady" and "Rain drops keep falling on my head". My first job in the late 70s was with David Jones (retail) on Hunter Street Newcastle and also at Garden City (Kotara) where I worked in fresh produce at the time. At Garden City which is a shopping complex mall they often had visiting performers drop by to provide entertainment which John Farnham did on one occasion. As you can imagine for me it was like royalty had dropped by to entertain everyone and even more special when he said hello to me when they were setting up their stage. At that stage in his musical journey, it was before he became more popular with the "Little River Band" which really kicked his musical journey into gear. Well done, John Farnham for lasting the distance I just brought your Movie "Finding the Voice" which I will watch and can relate too. 😀
John, we are almost the same age. I am sick and you are sick. I will stay if you get well enough to stay home with your family. I will stay with mine. Richard Marx said you are the best voice living today, anywhere. I know he is right but you don’t have to do that anymore. You have given us over 50 years of music. You don’t know how loved you are, so are your family and that includes Glenn and his family. You all became Australia’s family. I am so sorry about Glenn but he would want you to fight. We have been busy here since Covid started getting you heard all over America and the world. You have a whole new family now and many of them are waiting for your movie. So am I. ❤
❤Hello beautiful, I have seen a quite handful of your comment on my post uploaded on my business page, so I decided to create a more private page to appreciate those people whose comments and good wishes encourages me and I hope to bring you guys more... thanks a lot, I feel so honoured and blessed to have an amazing fan like you.
Is it going to be released on DVD? I’ve seen there will be a CD of the music from the movie, but I couldn’t figure out with any certainty if there would be a DVD. Does anybody know for sure? Even if I make it to the cinema, I would want a DVD so I can watch it again whenever I want, but I have problems with my ears and I think a cinema will be too loud for me. I’ve been stressing about it since I first saw the trailer, because I must see it, and I want to show my support, but it could also cause me a huge amount of pain.
JF pushing Labors 'Voice'? OK, so what about what the architects of the Voice themselves? Their own public statements tell us what it would be! Thomas Mayo stood next to the PM when he announced the referendum wording and he sits on the PM's Referendum Working Group which drafted the referendum question. Mayo published his book titled "The Voice to Parliament Handbook". His signature is on the Uluru Statement and he has spent 18 months travelling around Australia trying to talk Australians into changing the Constitution to include the Voice. He is a union official and self-described “militant” on record as saying the Voice will “punish politicians”, “abolish colonialist institutions” and “pay the rent, pay reparations and compensation”. Rather than the Voice being the “inspiring and unifying Australian moment” and "modest request" described by the PM, Mr Mayo told a Communist conference “there is nothing that we can do that is more powerful than building a first nations’ Voice, a black institution, a black political force to be reckoned with”. At a 2021 "Invasion Day" protest he described “the powers that be” as “murderers”, and said he was “sick of governments not listening to our voice” so planned “to use the rulebook of the nation to force them”. At Black Lives Matter protests and other addresses he reveals the Voice’s radical origins in the Search Foundation which describes itself as the “successor organisation of the Communist Party of Australia”.
Send your Animals to a Sanctuary. Stop eating them! Start A Vegetable Farm, and people will go WoW! Look at John! Like they have always done ✅ but something even more Magical to Love you for. Even an Animal Sanctuary, on part of the Land, and Vegetables on the rest
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. I can't tell you how sad I am to see John Farnham out himself as a racist. I don't need a separate "voice", I can vote in general elections just like you non-indigenous Australians can.

ONE VOICE
ONE NATION
VOTE NO.
Rotten Johnny Farnham
One is the loneliest number…
Yes, it’s the saddest experience you’ll ever know
Take your Voice elsewhere
I can't tell you how sad I am to see John Farnham out himself as a racist.
I don't need a separate "voice", I can vote in general elections just like you non-indigenous Australians can.
😮actually john farnham is actually English born non UK not australian just like acdc Scottish so most of the band's bgees English again . 😂
He is as Australian as anyone who "chooses" to live here. He could have gone back to the UK but he chose to support Australia and Australian culture.
BORN THERE - GREW UP AN AUSSIE KID THROUGH AND THREW-
LOVE HIM💜💯🙏🏼
Why would you ruin your legacy with support of this racist referendum?
I just can’t except the lying John is dying the family is not telling the truth I know
'The Voice' is becoming more prominent for a whole other political reason
