Just busy myself with finding a proper flash for outdoor portraiture photography which is powerful enough to enlighten my photos e.g. in lost places or outdoor when I have to enlighten the models face. I’m loving my new ad400 Pro. I have a few sizes of softboxes, both white and silver umbrellas, metal 7” modifiers, 16” beauty dish, I’m ready fir most everything I need to shoot a.one with my 2 ad200Pro Pros.
Thanks for the video. I tried to put my snoot on but it doesn't stay on. I also can't figure out how to attach the barndoors and gel kit made for the AD 400. Do you have a video for that? Thanks!

What’s the range of the ad400Pro? Depending on whichever hood one can use, how far can this light reach a model for a portrait in mid day light?
To get the longer battery life do you recommend TTL OR manual. I’ve noticed if I shoot high power 1/1 on manual my battery will die in 100 shots
hello! could you recommend a suitable and stable light stand for such a strobe? would a light stand with max. 10kg capacity be able to hold a strobe with a large softbox attached (both add up to ca. 5.5kg)? thank you in advance :)

I try to find AC adaptor for AD400 when I first brought but it still not available. I end up shooting AD400 with charger tire to light stand. It did charge while shooting as well.
It will definitely work while plugged into the battery charger however Godox don't recommend it as it may deteriorate the battery life in the long run. Still best to use with the AC400 AC adapter if you plan on shooting for prolonged periods.
Great video- can you recommend a sturdy stand for ad400 and a 65cm octogon softbox/S2 bowens mount? Will probably be used outdoors primarily and i have sandbags (I didn't know there was a smaller bowens adapter, i may ditch the S2 for this item).

A 260cm or 8.5ft stand would be your best bet. We have one called the Spectrum 260cm Air Cushioned Light Stand that we usually pair with our flash kits.
If u have the bowens mount adaptor connected can u still use the godox S65 reflector without having to take off the adaptor?
From what I understand you cns pop it apart and remove the bottom ring to be able to still use it. Many channels said no but then I found one that shows what to do
I have a godox p90l for some reason it won’t click on the bowns Mount that’s been hooked up to the godox. Are they not compatible?

Yes the Godox mount is smaller in diameter than the Bowen’s mount. I have my Bowen’s adapter mounted to my 400 pro

Does this softbox fit the AD 100 pro model? With S2 bracket?
Any Bowens softbox will work with the AD100Pro with the S2 bracket

I don't know if you know the answer. Any help with be grateful. My modeling lamp stopped working for some reason. It did have 2 falls from the wind. I just bought the extension head. The modeling light doesn't on it neither. Thanks
Potentially an internal connection issue from the fall. The prongs that are inserted to the front section where the bulb mounts pass through to the extension head so it sounds like it may need to be repaired.

5:12 A reflector? I thought this was just a cover to protect the bulb if you left it attached when storing the flash. How is it a reflector when it looks all black inside and has just a tiny hole in front?
It’s the reflector with the attached protection cover. Remove the cover and you’ll see the usual reflector.
Where can I purchase a battery I’ve already purchased 2 because when I charged my previous one it wouldn’t charge the lights on the charger won’t show
Perhaps the battery needs a reset. Ask the retailer you purchased it from to see if they can provide the Godox battery reset service for you. There are several videos on UA-cam also explaining how to do this.
Are these accessories compatible with the AD1200?
nexuses1 The 1200 Pro is a pack and head design, not a monolight… They're not anywhere even close in build…

You should be able to purchase replacement flash tubes for the AD400Pro from your local Godox retailer. If not, try Amazon!
What is your missing the screws how could I buy them
Unfortunately this is considered as a spare part so you'll have to go directly back to the retailer you purchased from or contact Godox directly to order the screws.

Can you explain how the inches of a soft box matter? For example what will a 25in soft box do different than a 33inch soft box?
Hey there, sure thing! It comes down to personal preference but a general guideline is that the larger the softbox, the softer the light. A majority of shooters try to get the biggest softbox they can as many prefer the softer look for more flattering skin and even lighting. The main downside or restriction in getting something larger are the physical constraints - i.e. if it fits in your shooting space or if it's practical for you to use something that size if you had to bring it around with you on location. Hope this helps :)

@@royaltykidstv Group shots would benefit from larger softboxes due to the larger light spread. A 25 inch softbox with that light would be more suited to close up head shots so either a 33 inch or 47 inch softbox would be ideal for group shots.

Have to get the ac adapter
The AC adapter is sold separately. It's called the Godox AC400
No need for the power pack, I just keep the charger plugged into the battery while shooting in studio. Does no harm, been doing it since this light came out.
If it works for you great! However Godox advise against this as they say it deteriorates the battery.

As per product specifiaction, it should provide 380 full power pops. But it is providing only 220-230 pops only even if the battery is fully charged
Could be a battery issue. They tend to degrade depending how they're used or stored.
