Three reasons he didn't save him sooner:
1. To give him the chance to save himself.
2. Until the SA was about to begin, it wasn't quite terrible. Just bad.
3. Most importantly, Reacher needed Paul to owe him in order to get the info Reacher needed.

by the time you say 3 you're already at 4 so attacking at 2 is on point better and also gives the enemy preparation time if you count towards 3 and since it's not really cheating since the timer did reach 3 it just wasn't stated so in a way always attack on 2 instead of 3 otherwise your already dead

Yeah, that's one of the many things season 1 did well. Reacher fought exactly how you'd expect a yoked up military guy to fight, just throwing elbows like sledgehammers

I once met a guy who was in prison who told me he was so institutionalized that when he got out of prison and was showering alone, if he dropped the soap and went to pick it up he would grab his own ass.🤪

unless its murder, they'll let it slide, if its a big fight, they will put them in solitary confinement, we all know how that goes.
