Good easy-to-follow video. I use the same techniques on my WNW kits (and other rigged models). I'm a big fan of UV glue too! I'm constantly finding new modeling uses for it.

Great video. I've only made one WW1 plane, but the rigging was my favorite part. Really liked the ways you did it. Gonna have to find me another plane to do between my tanks.

I’m preparing to do not a wingnut, but a realistic (not flat cartoon colors) depiction of the plane in PorcoRosso the wood interior of the fuselage was giving me trouble planning. This technique looks solid. Especially finishing with the color clear. Really sells it.

Great video Cameron - as Im FINALLY tackling my Felixstowe, this highlights again that its not that hard if you just break it down to the elements you described! Cheers, Chris

Great job. It was so unfortunate that Wingnut went bust, this is what happens when the owner of a company wants to sell what he likes, not what the market needs.

I’d argue the market needed good WW1 kits. The price they sell for proves that. The timing and COVID was the big failure

Thanks for the video. Did you wait for the oils to dry before applying the clear orange?

Hit it with a hairdryer. The top coat is holding it all together
