There are so many people that fall for narcissists, who want to believe, that they are deep down good people, with just a few problems that could be resolved with just a bit of therapy and accommodation, or simply deny, that someone is a narcissist, mostly because of the self evaluation and self protrayal of a narcissist.
Poeple who want to treat narcissism like any other type of neurodivergence and think, we should all be supportive and considerate of narcissists, their needs and their perspectives, usually aren't the ones paying the price.

Thank you, my father has NPD and the toxic effect (result) of his behaviour has directly effected my psychological health and has tarnished my character.
