Now that I think of it, my Tinnitus developed during my menopause. Also vertigo and increasing migraines. Luckily I responded well to physiotherapy and medications for the vertigo and my Tinnitus only in one ear so not as debilitating. But the migraines are awful.

My tinnitus also started at 50, when I was already running on empty for years at perimenopause. HRT, all your video’s, and yoga helped me find my way back to a relaxed state of body and mind. HRT was necessary to be able to get some hours sleep every night. I’m so grateful to you Julian. I thank you with all of my heart.

This is what I’m going through at the moment. I also started with tinnitus and other issues and I believe it could be because of the hormonal imbalance. I’m still trying to figure it out. Did HRT help you? I’ve seen some saying it made the tinnitus worse.

HRT did not make my tinnitus worse at all, and it helped me a lot with finding physical balance. I use utrogestan 100 mg pills and estradiol patches. I don’t experience side effects and the patches are convenient in use. During menopause there are many subtle factors that influence disbalance of hormones. Before HRT, 0:28 I suddenly got hives etc. so also stopped cafeine and alcohol (that I don’t miss at all) and cured foods (I miss those very much). I feel so much better now, the tinnitus is also better, but I still have to manage my energy better than when I was in my forties. But that’s ok, because it also helps to set heathy boundaries and do what you really want :)

Hi Julian , your videos has helped me alot during my difficult period as my tinnitus started 3 months ago. Your videos gave me so much hope. Thank you so much.
Just had one question. I couldn’t find the solution for this-
My ear produces a sound ( cracking sound) whenever i hear sudden sounds like a baby crying or high pitch sounds or sometimes even the sound of my voice or even when i touch and release the middle part of my ear. The sound comes soon after the external sound reaches my ear. I am not sure whats happening and should i be worried?

Hi Julian, I don’t have any scientific or research info but I do know a few people going through menopause who experience worsening of tinnitus. As for myself, mine spikes when it’s that time of the month. Therefore I strongly believe imbalance of hormones do contribute to the spikes or onset of tinnitus.
The few I know who have spike during menopause found relief after going through hormone replacement therapy. Not orally but applying hormones cream.

I’m in perimenopause and agree with this. I still get my cycles and find I’m getting spikes during this time. I’m 49 years old

No te desesperes.

Temporarily it could. Yes. But tinnitus is reversible. Download my app www.quietenapp.com to find out how. Best wishes Julian
