I agree with you. I'm so sick of other guitarists telling me that I'm not doing it right. I'm not talking about the clash perse, I'm just talking about everything. this is actually why I don't get along with other musicians, as well, the ones I know anyway are real arrogant about this.
I was just looking for something easy to learn to break the monotony of the songs I've been practising so far. I've been feeling a it stuck so doing this and learning the progression quickly was quite uplifting
Andy thanks so much your trip to Mexico city yesterday I'm so happy you shared it with us on Instagram you and Nina are a such a beautiful Couple all those bands are so awesome music 😀😘💖 your the luckiest man on earth
I recommend checking out the Corey Taylor's accoustic version of London Calling, he uses a variation in the chord pattern that I feel has a better flow and alternates between two (open) alternatives for the G chord making for some interesting and fun (simple) chord transitions.
I don't think there is a C chord in the intro it is Emin to F (the Fmaj7 just sounds wrong) same as is the verse then, Emin to F to G for the chorus ending on the D. It sounds better on acoustic, I think, if the F and G are played as barre chords. The sooner beginners get the barre chord thing going the better in my opinion, because it won't be long before they'll need G min, Bmin Cmin and more which are really only easily available as barre chords.

They’re just trying to make themselves think they’re better. As long as you enjoy playing then you’re winning
YOU'RE NOT DOING IT RIGHT
Get drunk and tell them what you really think in text😊
