I met Tommy amd hos camp in my casino in lake charles lousiana at the isle of capri. Man he and Roy Jones Jr were 2 of the coolest most interactive celebs EVER! I took Tommy and his people to the buffet amd we all sat down and ate dinner together for an hour or so. He spoke heartily to anyone who approached us. He was so inviting. I remember even his people didn't even try to distance themselves yet were more inviting asking me if i had any questions (I just started meeting celebrities at this job at the hotel and he knew i was a little excited) even offering me contact info. 2 of the coolest realist ppl ever. RIP my man...and thank you brother.
Agree, this one of them things that DON'T need to be touch or retouch PERIOD. You know they trying remake everything nowadays......that's how much they running out of ideas but wanna still make money.😒 originality just lacking all around.
Well Martin didn’t lie Duane was soft. Sad story but never knew that they had an affair. So he was a lover scorned... Now isn’t it ironic they could talk now that she has divorced Duane...
I think Gina was with Martin way b4 she meet her husband it feels like one of those off and on again life time lovers (totally dysfunctional right) so when she says I want to marry this other guy Martin was NOT ready to hear that- and she used sexual harassment as a tool to end things.. My speculations of course
@mysonne joyner i get what you're saying but saying Hip Hop isn't a large part of black culture is like saying jazz isnt its apart of black culture a very large part because it was made and created by black people in black neighborhoods, detailing black life thats what hip hop was about.. no matter what it is today i feel hip hop and black culture goes hand in hand.... it was like modern day negro spirituals when it first hit the scene..
Martin was going through a lot of demons in the 90s, and has admitted to his part in his feud with Tisha in several interviews, but Tisha always tried to play innocent. Martin just wasn’t in love with her because she was his co-worker like she claimed so many times. They were sleeping together. It’s just very coincidental to me that when Tisha is going through a very messy divorce and has filed for bankruptcy, that NOW Martin is no longer psycho and she’s willingly participating in the Martin reboot.
Exactly! Her husband knew full well about the affair & was probably jealous all these years & would never allow her to have any type of relationship with him.
Martin was on coke bad look at the 1st 2 seasons then after that hes skinny with that dark ashy cast to his skin he looked bad a lot of the scenes made no sense. The jokes wasnt funny the older viewers will know plus word on the set that martin was mentally strained his wife dumped him for emmit smith he got banned from nbc they need to do a uncensored martin
I miss the 90s my daughter asked me the other “was it really a lot of black girl groups or singers” all I could think about was SWV, Brandy, Monica, Xscape, invogue, Whitney, TLC etc. Damn 😪
Tichina Arnold could out sing Tisha Campbell ANY DAY. Tisha Campbell always sound like she was screaming. She can sing but she had nothing to Tichina Arnold.

There's something really beautiful in seeing Martin and Tisha connect in a positive way. I hope that they have both forgiven and let bygones by bygones ;D
I LOVE THIS SHOW, and glad they could work things out. Most def shouldnt be a reboot, especially without Tommy. It was a great show, no need to mess up greatness.
RIP Tommy! Prayers for the rest of this talented cast! I never really watched the show much but the few times I saw it, it was really good! Martin, don't let Hollywood get to you and please be respectful to women. Tisha, I truly respect your convictions and I'm glad that you stood up for the wrong that you endured. God bless you all.
I was watching those last couple of episodes yesterday and what I observed is that when Tisha was gone, Tichina’s role came to the forefront and got the shine she deserved!!
It will forever be "old lady punk" 'cause Martin & Ms. Geri(Jeri Gray) was always running up on each other lol. I call my friend an old lady punk whenever she's irking my nerves.
"Remember The Time" episode when they were discussing how they first met; the scene when Gina fainted and Martin rotated that platform show across her. I was so done😂😂😂
My favorite character was Bro'man who lived upstairs from Martin. He would always come into the apartment through the fire escape window & he would also leave the same way. Great show!
Great video. Never knew Martin and Tisha had an affair but looking back, I'm not surprised because their chemistry was undeniable. That show would have ran much longer if Martin and Tisha had found ways to make it work.
I've also heard that Martin Lawrence married "Saved By The Bell" actress, Lark Voorhies, and it was near the beginning of the "Martin" show being aired on TV. The relationship didn't last though.

@@shyy87 Bruh Man was the best character on the show, just got to give him a bigger role lol.
I love watching the reruns after smoking a blunt. R.I.P. Thomas Ford (Tommy)
My favorite episode ever is when Sha Nae Nae had Gina work in her shop and she said u did Myra's hair with no neutral lizer..
I still remember that episode. It was a traumatic episode for hair lol. Can never forget that one.
And then they tried to appease her by telling her she looked like Sinead O'Connor 😂😂😂
Martin is my childhood. I want my childhood back 😭
I met Tommy amd hos camp in my casino in lake charles lousiana at the isle of capri.
That is so cool
Awwwwwe! Now i like him even more!! ☹️ RIP
RIP Tommy. They can’t reboot Martin, even if we want them to.
No other show on earth brought me more joy than Martin! One LOVE
C Smers and more laughs!😂
In Living Color and My Wife and Kids
IKR!!! Up to this day!
Just leave it were it's at #memories. Tommy's gone 😥and the show wouldn't be the same without that laugh.🤣 I have every DVD
Agree, this one of them things that DON'T need to be touch or retouch PERIOD. You know they trying remake everything nowadays......that's how much they running out of ideas but wanna still make money.😒 originality just lacking all around.
Me too
It's true. So sad he passed
It's sad that he passed on that young.
I agree Ashley
I ALWAYS said she and Martin messed around. Definitely VERY clear and quite obvious there was an intimate relationship going on.
his wife looks like Gina
Yeah he like them high yellow girls
millienl which one? The first wife makes Gina look like crap 🤣 I do see the resemblance though.
Melanie Dones His 1st wife was gorgeous
Jessica Marie She is. She is married to Emmit Smith.
millienl I peeped that
Well Martin didn’t lie Duane was soft. Sad story but never knew that they had an affair. So he was a lover scorned... Now isn’t it ironic they could talk now that she has divorced Duane...
yup thats how u know it's true that they were having an affair Because the moment her and Duane broke up her and Martin became cool again 🤦🏾♂️
Exactly
wreckteam tex they had met up way before she got divorced
I think Gina was with Martin way b4 she meet her husband it feels like one of those off and on again life time lovers (totally dysfunctional right) so when she says I want to marry this other guy Martin was NOT ready to hear that- and she used sexual harassment as a tool to end things.. My speculations of course
He had Tachina too though
The interviewer at 2:21 is so rude! How do you interrupt someone to call them out on their facial expressions, especially a comedic actress?
CrixusHeart Right.. but Tisha bounced right back from that question with an answer AND a smile! 😁
I don’t think she was trying to be rude.
That's what I said, just rude, no way man, not on my watch.
Illuminati signs
I hate when people confuse black culture with hip hop culture.
@mysonne joyner its a large part created by us for us
@mysonne joyner i get what you're saying but saying Hip Hop isn't a large part of black culture is like saying jazz isnt its apart of black culture a very large part because it was made and created by black people in black neighborhoods, detailing black life thats what hip hop was about.. no matter what it is today i feel hip hop and black culture goes hand in hand.... it was like modern day negro spirituals when it first hit the scene..
@mysonne joyner i see I've made my point sis lol 😊
@@monetmonroe4644 Thank you!
This sounds like a comment by a white person.
No reboot is officially happening. It's been spoken of is all.
Exactly! Her husband knew full well about the affair & was probably jealous all these years & would never allow her to have any type of relationship with him.
Someone said she did an interview and said that she was going through things back then and Martin took the heat for her.
@@JM_HUh the affair ended because things got serious with Duane. She stopped messing with Martin and he couldn't accept it.
I miss the 90s my daughter asked me the other “was it really a lot of black girl groups or singers” all I could think about was SWV, Brandy, Monica, Xscape, invogue, Whitney, TLC etc. Damn 😪
*En Vogue
But we get cha’ gurrrl lol
Martin singing with Jodeci...Nick knack patty wack give a dog a bone....🤣👍🤣👍😅🤣🤣🤣🤣

Tisha Campbell-Martin file harassment suit against Martin Lawrence she missed some episodes during season 5
Tichina Arnold could out sing Tisha Campbell ANY DAY.
Tisha Campbell always sound like she was screaming. She can sing but she had nothing to Tichina Arnold.
Watch School Daze. Tisha's singing was awesome.
Shout out to Varnell "Did ya miss me???" Hill. Martin on stage with Jodeci, Classic!!! "Nick Nack Patty Whack.... Give A Dog A Bone"😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
My all time favorite episode. Lol. Favorite lines were: "Check the adams apple" and " Michael did you just hit me." Also Tommy to the dude with short shorts "You need Jesus!!!. Aww man classic! 😂😂😂
One of the best episodes!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣
SNOOKI! Do work!
I was watching at 5 am this morning. Still hilarious
Omg that's one of my favorite episodes, besides the one when he threw out his back.
I miss this show 😭 took me back on memory lane for sure
B.E.T shows rerun everyday but Sunday.
the 1st time Jerome came on scene & asked the girl "What's wrong, you can't call nobody" ..... I was on the floor crying from laughing!
i loved when Jerome slid in with those white cowboy boots.
Martin always reminded me of the "tupac" of comedy frfr..
Bruh that's crazy I be thinking the same thing they kind of act alike too ppl didn't know that pac was also goofy ppl just always look at pac as a gangsta

watching reruns every night and still cracking up laughing. Best show of the 90s by far

Yes
I agree. The best of the 70's is a tie between All In The Family and Sanford and Son and best of the 80's would be Amen and Golden Girls.
Greatest black sitcom of all time. Hands down.

So it's confirmed....they did have an affair. Makes sense, their on screen chemistry was JUST a lil too real!
Confirmed from an unreliable UA-cam video with no reliable source…
I miss the 90s....music and television. Neither have been as good since.
mdooms76 adamantly agree! Especially the music
The golden age of media in my opinion
yep the music is all in my IPod and computer
@philip ocharo But can you agree that the 90's was way better than now? I know I do.
I wish we could get that era back because I miss it terribly as well😢😢
There's something really beautiful in seeing Martin and Tisha connect in a positive way. I hope that they have both forgiven and let bygones by bygones ;D
I LOVE THIS SHOW, and glad they could work things out. Most def shouldnt be a reboot, especially without Tommy. It was a great show, no need to mess up greatness.
Still my favorite show I watch all the rerun's every time they come on🤗
Frfr best show ever 🙌

I’ll always love Martin. I grew up watching this show and I still watch it to this day. RIP Tommy and I’m glad Martin and Tisha made up.
That scene with the dog is hilarious, omg. Your videos are binge worthy to the highest degree. Totally, subscribing
I can't name not one episode that was boring or not slumped over dying laughing!! Period.! That man is beyond creative!!!
I remember watching Martin all the time 😁 man I miss the 90's was an amazing decade to live in.
It toook everyone so long to figure out that tommy was drug dealer😂🤟🏾💯💎
He was actually a male stripper lol..one episode they showed it
I swear i just said that tho i really thought he was a drug dealer 😂😂😂 ahh ! RIP tommy
He was a counselor for the Boys & Girls Club.
it was implied that he was a drug dealer on the low. his other "jobs" were a front! that man was a pusher
Tommy was Batman obviously
This is sad that the show ended on such a negative note. But I’m thankful that Martin gave us this classic ❤️
Didn’t know Tommy Ford passed.RIP TOMMY🙏🙏🙏🙏💔😢
Did she say "Cold"? @ 01:46

I was watching those last couple of episodes yesterday and what I observed is that when Tisha was gone, Tichina’s role came to the forefront and got the shine she deserved!!
“Rent ‘em spoons”
Your Martin’s show phrase ?
On me that's the funniest episode fam
It will forever be "old lady punk" 'cause Martin & Ms. Geri(Jeri Gray) was always running up on each other lol. I call my friend an old lady punk whenever she's irking my nerves.
@@demekonrn yoooooo when she stomped Martin's tuna sandwich out my G. 😂😂😂😂

Ms Geri buying condoms at the store : I ain’t too old to get my freak on ! See you later, big papa. LMAO
Martin is an iconic classic that has & will stand with the ages.
"Remember The Time" episode when they were discussing how they first met; the scene when Gina fainted and Martin rotated that platform show across her. I was so done😂😂😂
Them stack shoes and that saxaphone playing on his knee.
My favorite character was Bro'man who lived upstairs from Martin. He would always come into the apartment through the fire escape window & he would also leave the same way. Great show!
Ronnie Roberts ....4th fl broman! Lolo

He was hungry, just needed a sandwich.

I Say This All The Time But The Martin Show Could’ve Turned Into “My Wife And Kids” And Then “House Of Payne”🤦♂️
LéSane
Damn.... you right 🤔
True
I like martin way more
never thought of dat
Not really the "House of Payne" but I agree with you on the "My Wife and Kids" part.
Great video. Never knew Martin and Tisha had an affair but looking back, I'm not surprised because their chemistry was undeniable. That show would have ran much longer if Martin and Tisha had found ways to make it work.
It was also rumored that Martin and Cole didn’t get along, mainly on Martin part
That's because Martin married Emitt Smith's ex and he was a good friend of Cole
@@xDreMack emmit married martin's ex wife
I know he was one of the first to publicly tell that martin and Gina messed around too 🤷🏾
I've also heard that Martin Lawrence married "Saved By The Bell" actress, Lark Voorhies, and it was near the beginning of the "Martin" show being aired on TV. The relationship didn't last though.
