    I don't normally like watching the grind of a tournament coverage, but I was on the edge of my seat all the way through. It was like watching a drama based on a real life story. You already know how it ends, but you're hoping somehow it won't (not that it ended badly, but would have been great to see you achieve your ultimate dream). And I don't see anything wrong with your response in the interview. It was honest and less rude than the question.

    I think Brad’s genius comes from picking a perfect betting size, and playing positional poker. He doesn’t look at the river when he nailed the straight. Just looking at his opponent. Getting information. I think Brad deserves the accolades, he’s genuinely a deep scholar of the game. He reminds me so much of GothamChess. Currently an international master, but he will be a grandmaster because he is so talented, and passionate. Gotham has his own genius, and is a UA-camr. What a spectacular channel, plus you always do things in good taste Brad. Keep it up rockstar! Giving away seats, supporting your friends and loved ones. You’re a good role model, and I couldn’t pay you a higher compliment in my books. 👍

    I have been playing a lot of online MTT's lately. Its the same story every time. Ill do really well early in the tournament. Then shortly after late reg ends i get a series of coolers where i get it all in as the pf favorite and lose. Usually vs smaller stacks. So ill go from having 50-100bb after late reg to busting right before or right after min cash.

    Brad the pocket Ks dilemma is part of poker. I have never been able to get away from them pre, even when I heavily suspect the other player has As. I have been KO'd from several tournaments holding them pre. There must be a better way to navigate this. The ICM implications, or as you described the value of your position in the late stages of a MTT, dictates not getting it all in pre with a one pair hand. I would love to hear your response to this. thanks

I moved away from Vegas after 20 years and never really got any opportunities to play much in the WSOP I always was present but usually on the rail. Now in my little new home town Nebraska I found some cash games I can beat and built up a decent roll. My brother still lives in Vegas along with my best friend and amazing guitar player. I’m excited to “go home” and play a little poker for a week and maybe a little music too. You really inspired me to remember to just play my best and handle the beats either way with class and like a gentleman. You’re a talented player and I’m grateful you have shared your story. Lastly damn right you ain’t folding KK. GG….

    I just heard the "Fuck those guys" comment. Shortly after, you said you weren't proud of that moment. Well, I LOVE what you said Brad! I wish more athletes were brave enough to speak their mind about their critics. As Tom Brady said recently (at his Roast)... "The credit belongs to the man that is actually in the arena who strives valently and comes short again and again... But if he fails, he fails while daring greatly... So that his place will never be with those timid souls who neither know victory or defeat." Yes, you are an athlete, and you have fans like me rooting for you all the way. I'm not done watching the video yet, I don't know the outcome, and I can't wait to see how you did. I'm on the edge of my seat with every hand, just like any other sporting event. The only way you can make it to the final table and win big is, To be patient and not going all in every time you have a monster hand , That’s risking your opportunity of your life without knowing what cards coming your way, Advice when your so close , just call and expecting to hit a set , and consider folding if over cards comes out.

    Hey Brad or any high rollers out there. How do you figure out how much to tip when cashing a big tournament? 10% is almost 10k which is crazy to think people would tip that much with those kind of payouts

    • @WinterBorn61
      @WinterBorn61 3 місяці тому

      Although I am not a "high roller" as I think you are using the term, I do play fairly high buy-in tournaments fairly regularly. I generally tip 5-15%, depending on how I did.
