Where should / can I pick up the Forged meat equipment? Also, I am planning on using a Grayl this season, would it be overkill to also bring a steripen?

The Grayl is an awesome system; however, if you are in an area with heavy glacial silt then clogging may pose a concern. The Steripen would be your backup and provide some peace of mind.
