Kifaru Ark 22" Frame vs 25" Frame
Forest briefly describes why we recommend going with a taller frame on the Kifaru Ark. We tested the 22" variant of this frame extensively, and found that it adjusted our posture in a less than desirable way when loaded over 50lbs. The taller frame however, had a better load lifter angle and gave us better posture right from the start.

Good info. How's the Grumman holding up?
BLACKS CREEK PACKS !!!!!
Costco’s 32 heat long sleeve and pants are absolutely amazing and only for $10 and the Gerry pant for only $15 is a great price. Save money buy better glass or a good jacket.
Spent quite a bit of money on Sitka gear and the zippers come with a little string attached to them instead of a tab to open and close zippers. I’ve had to re-retire mine multiple times and now I have some missing and no way to find out how to get more because they won’t answer the phone. Why would you create a nice garment and on one of the most important parts use that kind of crap
Good video review
My $200 fanatic hoodie in EV2 did it after the first wash
if you gota talk about "budget" then you shouldnt be buying any sitka
Hi thanks for the review. Would you say sitka or stone glacier for a new hunter. I also watched your 1000 dollar sitka built . So wanted your opinion. Btw why do you use solids instead of camo? Thanks
Excellent advice thank you buddy
Wow. This bike will barely carry a full sized man. (275 pounds)
Spotting scopes can be confusing. I had a vortex. It was a great spotting scope. But I think it was like 40 x? But then I want to buy another one that was supposed to be 70x from a different manufacturer. I thought I'd be able to see the targets closer lol. When I bought the thing, I found out that it wasn't any closer than the last scope I had lol. I've seen this a few times.
Id love a printed list,
Great two cents of info..
TBH, I am more in the Crossfire/Diamondback price point. After watching this, I don't feel too bad about that. While the difference is obvious, I think the DB acquitted itself well. I would like to see a comparison with the Crossfire, but I might be a little afraid of losing more contrast. Of course, with my old eyes, I might not be able to see the difference in the real world.
Amazing review.....By the way WHERE TO PURCHASE THE PHONE HOLDER
Phone holder attachment name please??
Great stuff, thank you. What kind of money are those charter flights?
What’s the middle darker brown color?
Just watched this video as I’m in the market for a spotting scope. I have a budget of $1,000. Any suggestions?
Wow I just learned 3 essential knots thanks man. God bless you. You are really good at explaining things.
Thank you for taking the time to make this video. It's very much appreciated.
I’d like to see the range with NO peddling. I don’t mind the exercise, but I would prefer to skip any sweating when going in to hunt.
This is the only metric that matters. I bought a new one in july 2022, largest battery, 27ah?, saddle bags, the works. for just under 7k$ What a waste of money. Im a professional forester. I refuse to pedal. 3.5 miles up a very steep groomed hiking trail, 3.5mi coasting down, 25% battery remaining. They dont mention, the thermal limiter, that cuts the motor when under major load. Maybe if your a hunter or poacher... and need to be sneaky. I cannot give this thing away. Bought a new Yama 700 ATV last month for 2x the money of the ebike, and its 100x the vehicle
Have you ever considered comparing Eberlestock packs in the reviews? I am curious how a comparable Eberlestock compares to the top three in this review. Thanks
Best Boots Ever!! Wish I had known about them many years earlier!
Be wary if you're tall with a long torso. I'm 6'5" with a 21" torso and the 25" frame is too short. It renders the load lifters ineffective so you're basically hauling around a ruck sack.
I have an Osprey Xenith 88. They were designed to haul heavy. You guys ever test Osprey packs?
I use the core lightweight for next to skin. Would the 220 or 330 be good for over top of that? Thanks!
Pretty cool! Probably banned in CA & NY.
Great video. I bought the angled Razor before I found your video - it cost much less than the other two. I'll be using it with my iPhone to take pics; I'll also be using it to see the hits on my targets when 'i shoot my .22 rifles. I bought an Ollon phone adapter to hook the iPhone to the Razor.
Respectfully, I believe there has been something of a miscommunication on the optical design of the Viper. When you say "has more optical stops" I believe you mean to say that it has a smaller aperture. The aperture is like the iris on your eye. When an aperture is smaller, it has a large f/stop. So, for example, f1.4 lets in double the light of f2, f2.8 is half of f2, f4 is half the light let in as f2.8 etc etc. These are called "stops of light." Each "full step" is a stop (1.4,2,2.8,4,5.6,8). All Vortex are really saying is the Viper has a narrower aperture. This allows the optic to use only center sweet spot of each lens since the aperture isn't wide enough to use the rest of the lens. This allows for very good optical performance using more affordable glass. How is less light being admitted through the lens expressed in the end? (on this type of optic) Why by a smaller exit pupil, of course! A smaller aperture (more stops) can also result in detraction which I believe is what you're seeing in that scene which surprised you. Everything in optical design is a compromise. It's clear to see what they chose here. It's a sensible choice BUT to the naked eye which can open its aperture far wider than the exit pupils of these scopes, the Viper will appear noticeably less bright and more "tunnel like". This won't be captured with the digicam since it has a very tiny aperture, comparatively. For this reason alone, for hunting in low light, actually the diamondback would probably be superior. The Razor more so, obviously.
Guys a few of these specs are wrong. The cirque light is more comparable to the ambient hoody not jacket. The cirque does indeed have primaloft gold. The aerolite does as well. The difference is the cirque lite has 60g/m the cirque has 133g/m and the aerolite has 80g/m. All three have primaloft gold. The aerolite also has aerogel which is what makes the cross core technology work. The ambient series uses primaloft evolve. The one you showed here is the ambient jacket which has 150g/m of primaloft evolve. The ambient hoody has 100g/m and would have been a much better comparison to the cirque lite. I like y’all’s reviews a lot but these differences in specs could change someone’s decision on what to buy or give them a better idea of warmth

Great vid... Im over in the UK and id love your thoughts on inner tent material, mesh ir solid. If the tent is a true 4 season in the design re poles and outer feabic reaching tight to the floor etc would you be too concerned what the inner fabric is made from.
Great video. I’m saving my pennies to get one.
From how banged up the VA-5 is, it’s clear which one has been used the most 😂
Outdoorsman’s products are so ridiculously overpriced 😂😂 so many better options for half the price in all categories of what they make
I don’t understand why vortex doesn’t make the UHD version of the spotting scope. Definitely would be closer for probably half the price
Fantastic reviews guys I’m new to the channel. I just subscribed so I could win that stony Mountain pack thank you. This stuff is so valuable. I have no opportunity to try these on. It gives me a great base to start with
I own the entire ambient line. My favorite piece of gear they have come out with in a few years.
Ok so the aria 2 vs the black diamond storm 450!
I’d like to point out that if you use Mystery Ranch game bags, they are designed to fit onto the frame (at the top) just like the pack does, so it holds the meat closer to the frame and it won’t sag to the bottom.
viper? hahahah
Great advice!!
Vortex is trash, as always.
I think everyone should have at least 1/2 of any of these lights just to be ready for the black out this winter 😢😢😢 I’m very happy with this brand of lights 😊😊😊
Well done!!!
Loved this video it helped me out tons! What is that pack you were using?
I’ll go with Swarovski.
