What a gorgeous Lincoln. A great find indeed. I have a 1970 Continental Mark 3 and have had her for 13 years, also a California car. Love her to death - LOL.❤
Thanks. Your MkIII sounds nice. I have a 70 model I’ll feature on the channel at some stage. Please subscribe and check out all the other videos thanks for watching.
Next level cushy; Fletch is a great rep. for the Lincoln land yacht preservation society ! Brings back the memories of the '73 Mercury Monterey I bought for $400 in the US in '87, and did my 10,000 mile "one lap of America" in; also powered by the torque laden 400 !!
Love the town car. I have the two door coupe same color as yours. 47K miles. All original. Enjoy your Town car as these are getting more desirable than any other luxury vehicle.
I hope you enjoy this video on a beautiful 1979 Lincoln. It is in mint condition. Please Like, Share and Subscribe and please give the video a Thumbs Up 👍. Thanks for watching.
@@ckaparos I have driven quite a few. I would say the Lincolns ride the best of all and the best riding car I have ever driven was a 1959 Lincoln Convertible. That was amazing.
I’ve said it before, you never cease to surprise and delight. You guys know how to make a mans Easter! What a car - what a piece of iconic American Auto styling. Love the little back stories on the design evolution. The Ayatollah certainly has much to answer for, but thankfully Lincoln brought out this final hurrah. The car is just beyond luxurious. Congratulations Fletch - loved the Silver Monarch and the Marquis of the day. Happy Easter.
Now that's what you call a Luxury Motor Car . You don't get class like that today in any prestige vehicle . Sad really. No one would be able to afford one if they made them like this. Well done Fletch .
mudina que, I liker da comment un talko about car-o, cie senior. (My apologies, I cannot speak your language, I just wanted to have a go at it - I do appreciate you being here, many thanks) Now - getto backo to worko !! 🤣
Hi Ivano. The earlier 1970 (which I have) is probably the cleanest but they didn’t have to meet the front and rear bumper standards (5mph impact with no damage to lights or indicators) and the new rollover standards. I like them both. I have a cream 79 Town Car like Fletch’s one. I’ll put it and the 70 on the channel one day.
That is simply stunning Fletch. Congrats on securing such an immaculate and original example of the Lincoln breed. I must say, that cabin has the most overtly luxurious interior I think I’ve ever seen. So plush, particularly with those opera windows.
Ivano - yes Sir - it's probably why I love the full size cars as well. It's a statement isn't it? Back in a time when the U.S built a car like this - because they could !! Cheers, thank you for watching. Fletch.

I would love to have that car 🚙
@@LivingLegendJoVonMoshe They are very cool. 👍
My father bought one of these new in 1979. It barely fit in our garage due to its length! Great video. Thanks for the childhood memories.
Glad you liked it 👍

Thanks Fletch!
I reckon he will apart from the weekend drive. In nice weather of course.

Good job Mark.
Great car in incredible condition, Fletch has an awesome collection of cars like you Mark.
Thanks Costa. He does have a great collection for sure. This is such a great example and it rides beautifully.
@@markbehr88 I can imagine it rides well, out off all the old long wheel base American cars which do you think were the best riding of all?

Cool. I have a cream one but haven’t put an episode up on the channel of it yet. Enjoy yours. They are great cars.
I usually don't like this model, but liked this car though!
I usually find them too ostentatious but this I liked!
