I admire his actual chopping of veggies, making marinade, making naan etc, all when camping. I'd be roasting freaking hot dogs on a stick over the fire 😆
Don't underestimate what you can make on a good fire. No pots or pans needed unless you want the same stuff you can make in your kitchen. Best ribs and wings you can make directly on the coals. Just wrap em in tinfoil (shiny side in) and make sure to flip the pack over every 20-30 minutes. Those tough ol ribs will fall off the bone and no matter what sauce you put on it'll be amazing. Naturally smoked from simmering on the red hot coals

In 41 years of being married to my husband who is from Bluebell Hill i have never been for a walk through the woods when down there on holiday so this is devine .Thank You xx

I gotta say Andy with a blend of a natural shelter in a beautiful woodland, with heavy downpours of rain and your food and fire, what a perfect mix to chill out with you. Perfect. Way better than tv. Please do longer camps!

Andy, I fell asleep last night to the sound of rain falling in this adventure---and woke up a few hours later. Just so so SO enjoyable to watch, your cooking skills are exceptional. And you're obviously a totally accomplished woodsman, wild camper and survivalist. You and your channel tick sooo many boxes. thank you.
Your creativity amazes me, you should take every bit of pride in your work, your face shows it all, you are beyond happy with what you are doing, and I absolutely love watching you, I am here in the United States in New Jersey, I used to enjoy lots of camping years ago but haven’t had the chance to do it for a long time, I live vicariously through you

Just discovered your channel and I love it! I'm in Canada, so our camping is a bit more "adventurous" shall we say. Bears, cougars etc. You get the picture. I think that the shelter is quite beautiful. I’m a welder and a carpenter, so I know what kind of skill it takes and time to build something like that. 12:33
I loved an Adirondack shelter in bad weather: there is so much shelter and protection from the weather inside. Yes...they are far more spacious than many a tent.
Andy my husband and i just recently started watching your camping videos. We really enjoy them especially the ones where it’s raining. We also enjoy your cooking in the woods you do a great job❤️
Great build Andy! One way to help gain some extra on those rainy days is roll up a oil tarp to the roof on the front and you can roll it down in cold weather and out with two poles in rainy weather! Looking forward to cold weather camps in this build!

Really enjoy your content, been doing that for a while now, but I never much commented on the videos. I should, you deserve to know how good these are. I practically lived in my Dads greenhouse, I even made a pond, I had a pet fish too “ cardew the carp” and loads of frogs that I fed worms. I was sooooo happy there…
I live in Melbourne Australia and enjoy your videos very much, How I wish we in Australia could enjoy obtaining firewood and emergency overnight materials as you in the Northern Hemisphere. Our native woods are in most instances a hardwood such as eucalypts and not easy to " process". Keep up your interesting videos and happy camping. Pete
Luv it! We camp in these all year around here in Sweden, even winter hiking is 100% doable. Just prep plenty of firewood and you'll be cozy all night long.

I watch your videos just to relax at nite before bed. Thank u for sharing part of your life with us.❤
Ah man this took me back to my younger days where I'd go sit in my father's greenhouse to watch thunderstorms and listen to the rain coming down, nothing more relaxing in the world! Absolutely love this build, great work as always Andy :)
Pete
Absolutly wonderful! I have been quite stressed today but watching this has calmed me down. Thanks so much. Such a wonderful place!
Luv it! We camp in these all year around here in Sweden, even winter hiking is 100% doable. Just prep plenty of firewood and you'll be cozy all night long.
Wonderful escape into a beautiful, enchanted woodland. Love the shelter and the food and ale was positively mouth watering. Thanks for sharing, Andy.
Yes
Oh I loved this video! Looks so inviting and warm. Great shelter build. Thank you so much.
If anyone has had a rough day..watch this video and you will relax and wish you were there!
Beautifully filmed, the sounds and sights of the woods and a thunderstorm..all so calming
Meals cooked in the woods that will make you envious
It would be nice to see you camp in your shelter for four seasons
Great video, as always and take care 🇨🇦❤️
I dislike camping and yet I felt exactly the same way. He makes it look like the greatest experience ever. Even when chopping logs.
Spot on! I’m no camper either but love these videos - such a nice guy!
Andy you are so talented, that shelter is awesome and the beef looked perfect. Your videos are great to watch. Thank you
Dude I love ur videos man. It’s calms me down and just so relaxing to watch. Don’t stop making these videos! I love the outdoor cooking aswell !
You’re my new favourite channel, Andy! I can’t believe I’ve never stumbled across you before. The absolute chilled vibe, and the cosy set up in every video just melts my anxiety away..the perfect bed time watching, thank you for all this amazing content. 💚🇮🇪🫡
That broom is a traditional besom, witches broom, really good for removing Debis from grass or your best lawn, I make them also, nicely done
Oh that is so interesting, I didn’t know that was the name for a witches broom, I’m Scottish and it’s a soft insult towards a female, my mum will sometimes call me a cheeky besom 😂 good to know it stems from witches!
@@lesley4085I used to work with animals and we always used them to clean the goats paddock. They’d be used in such a way that the long bits didn’t wear down because you could flick the poo pellets with that bit. Got so we’d have ‘favourite’ brooms until they wore down
Roast beef and roast potatoes with gravy in a cabin you made yourself. I don't think it gets much better than that! A very well made and enjoyable video as always. Thank you. 🙂
I have been binge watching your videos for two weeks straight. Very enjoyable indeed! Thank you for this content.
WOW!!!!! THIS IS SOMETHING NEW. VERY COSY. A FEW STEPS AHEAD OF A TENT AND A TARP. VERY IMPRESSIVE!
WHAT A DIFFERENCE THOSE LANTERNS MAKE TO THE COSINESS OF THE ATMOSPHERE. VERY NICE💯👍✌️👏👏👏👏👏
What a great achievement! I could actually feel that happy safe feeling that comes from having shelter from a storm coming through the video.
My, goodness! Building such a terrific shelter and table and being a gourmet cook, too. What can't you do?
Awesome as always Andy.
Great camp. I saw when you built it, and I don't know if i told you this or not but this has got to be the best lean to shelter I've ever seen. It looks professionally done like you hired a contractor to come out and build it. WOW!
You're pretty Awesome at building things aren't you? You will probably say no, but I think you're awesome anyway, lol.😂😅
Two whole 🌙 nights woo-hoo I love it. I'm off to find another video of yours.
Thank you for sharing your awesome adventures and for all the hard work and time you put into these videos they are truly awesome.

What a lovely video, thank you, just the sounds of nature, and no music, brilliant camera work and pin sharp visuals as well, a joy to watch. Also the food looks absolutely stunning, I haven’t had tea yet and was dribbling at that beef with roast potatoes! Infant, all the food you do in your videos looks and I imagine tastes stunning.
Thanks for bringing us along Andy...very enjoyable! Maybe next time Simon can tag along and keep you company.
