This looks like my kind of racing game. Motor Storm, Gran Turismo,and Burnout series are some of my fav racing series.Another great review. You should get Jungle Strike, and or Desert Strike for the Genesis. Those games are pretty good.
I prefer the old Collin McRae Rally games too. I have Collin McRae Rally 3 for PS2 and I think it's great. I got DiRT 1 and I think it's good but I don't like most of the non-rally races in the game. Is it worth to get Collin McRae Rally 4?

I play DiRT 2 with the Logitech g25 racing wheel, and that just makes it so much more realistic. The steering wheel in the cockpit view makes the exact same movements of your hands! Also works with DiRT 1.

You can unlock them by being friends with them!.... :-) And you can change them in options somewhere! :-)

(who is Welsh) I honestly don't know, as this is pretty much Ken Block Rally 2, not Colin McRae. :( Ken seems like a nice guy, but man, to a long time WRC fan who is used to incredible driving, his gymkhana videos are fun, but not very impressive. :p I saw the latest one and thought 'any WRC driver could have this course mastered in a matter of minutes.' I dunno... I imagine Gigi Galli doing it and adding a ton more style along the way.
Impressive finish. Not quite as good as mine though. I clipped that barrier and barrel rolled over the finish line XD. It may have not been intentional but it was still damn impressive.
Dirt 3 is a good step towards that :) But I still think that it should have more rally, longer stages and more locations..but maybe it's also a power of the hardware problem, that's why I hope to see dirt 4 on the next gen, possibly with very long, realistic rally stages..I mean..how awesome would it be to have ouninpohja as a full stage?? ;P
A lot of people complain about Dirt and Dirt 2 getting away from rally roots but ALL of the other classes and events are parts of other very awesome and talent deep disciplines and should really be appreciated by any off-road enthusiast. I wrote some long stupid comment about all the disciplines but ran out of characters. oh well.
@xxxREDOXxxx up to 50 gigs and that is only on a dual layer disk, most games will only come on 25 gig disks, which is still more then the 4.7 gig disks that 360 has, which will be its down fall in the end, and why they are designing a new system so soon, they expected HD DVDs to be better then Bluray, well looks like Sony was right...again

PC version has amazing detail, its one of the 1st Directx 11 games so if you have a good enough system its amazing!

If you're going to pick new options for the navigator's voice, the choice is obvious. KITT's voice. Maybe the computer from Star Trek.

I think that there should be a rallycross game. Like the original Colin McRae series it should be only rallycross, both in the US and European style.

The best way to finish is race is with the car flipped upside down, facing the wrong directions, spinning in circles.
